Pine Lodge Steakhouse
It was a nice restaurant with great food without being stuffy. The building is beautiful and the staff was extremely nice and service was top notch.
Great service. Great food
Only a few tables occupied on a Wednesday night so fairly quiet. Service could of been better. Little things like forgetting to bring the butter and brown sugar with the sweet potato. Had to ask twice for more water. Just inattention to detail. The lobster boat appetizer was good but over priced at $26 for 6 bites of lobster.
Great dinner, The Pine is back. Waitstaff attentive, meals were great. We will be back!
We had a lovely dining experience and would recommend it.
It is fine but not great. Our bread was undercooked and gummy in the middle and the prime rib was weirdly part almost raw and part overcooked. Service was fine but nothing special Dinner salad and the ribs were good.
Bad service, food is ok but a little expensive for the quality.
Great service and food
Everything from the cream of crab, to steak, to dessert was spot on. The server, she was great. Definitely recommend and will definitely go again.
Everything was delicious! We were very happy with our meals 😃
Service and food were good; we’ll definitely return.
Servers were working so hard due to being short staffed! We liked the ambiance which was like an upscale mountain cabin. Food was delicious!
Food wasn't very good. Got the filet. Not a lot of flavor. The potato was over cooked. For $39 a steak, it should have been amazing. Won't be back.
The salad came out and 2 minutes later... so did the meal... my steak was butterfly cut without asking... the New York strip was tough.... your server should put the meal order into the kitchen when she’s sees that you almost done with your salad... therefore we were rushed... won’t go back especially for the price
The food was great. We were having a celebration so this was just perfect. Thank you. I believe our server was Leslie. She was great.
The positives of our dining experience at Pine Ridge Steakhouse were our very friendly server, a lovely setting, and an excellent French onion soup! The loaf of bread and butter was also a hit.
Service was slow, given the inability to find wait staff, but we weren’t in a hurry.
Given the high prices of beef entrees, we stuck with seafood. The crab in my stuffed flounder had a very ‘tinny’ taste, and the presentation sure did remind me of something Cisco would provide. Entrees came with only 1 side. My husband’s cod was overcooked, thus dry.
The only home-made dessert was a peach cobbler, with which I requested vanilla ice cream, thankfully, since the cobbler had very few peaches and was covered in a gummy sauce. I would have been better off with the standard cheesecake. I really don’t think we’ll return, unless I find someone who absolutely RAVES about their pricey steaks.
Main restaurant did not open until 4:30 and we arrived about 25 minutes early for our reservation. The food was very good and the service was equally good. The value was about what I expected. I really liked the dining area decor and ambience.
Overall it was a very good experience but also pricey. Steaks were good although my husbands and my orders were mixed up so they had to recook his steak and throw mine on for a little longer. Not a huge deal. Bill was $200 I wasn’t necessarily expecting to spend that much for 2 people -we did have a bottle of wine and dessert. Overall I do recommend and would go again. Servers were attentive.
Very hit or miss. Petite fillet was very good and nice and accurately cooked. Wedge salad was ok. Loaded baked potato blah. Sautéed mushrooms were very good; sautéed onions were barely translucent and not caramelized (but not worth sending back and ruining the fillet). Mushrooms and onions were $2 up charge each on top of a $39 petite fillet which seemed piggy. Broccoli could have been frozen. Room was straight out of Frontier Square in Disneyland and didn’t have particular character. Servers were more than adequate (it’s unfair to ding when help is so scarce).
We were almost through dinner when our son called on his way into to town asking us to order take out for he and his wife (a vegetarian). The waitress quickly put in the order, asked us if we wanted something else while we waited and got the 'to go' items out in record time. She was very gracious about the last minute addition and made our son and his wife very happy.
Easy reservations, great wait staff, and excellent food.
Not enough staff foe the reservations. Food was not good. Disappointed because of the reviews.
Food was inconsistent. A couple of the meals were very good, one was not. Calamari was tough. Service was very good.
Nice place and service. The cue it strak was a bit fatty. Two of us had the large 14 ounce prime rib but I think the chef could have cut a bit if the fat off before serving since there was a slight bit of it in the middle if the prime tmrub. Good flavor but overall too much fat. Only one side served with dinner and that seems a bit chinchy fir me.
Food and atmosphere were excellent.
Excellent food. We had tenderloin and prime rib. Wedge salad was huge ad delicious. We shared it.
Top notch service and food on a beautiful lake setting.
Everything was good. The spicy sriracha shrimp doesn’t say it is breaded. My guest ordered it. She is Gluten free due to celiacs disease. She couldn’t eat it which was a waste of money! Also they need to update their prices on the website menu. Prices were all at least 2.00 more!
I ordered my filet medium well. It came completely charred like shoe leather. I’ve never seen a meal delivered in such poor condition. I sent it back and the next steak was edible but it was still over cooked and not juicy.
A very nice way to spend an evening dining out. The food was good and the service was great.
Really nice outdoor deck upstairs with a partial lake view. Good food, great service.
rustic pine ski lodge atmosphere. The food was good and service was as expected of a resort type restaurant.
One of the rudest hostesses I’ve ever encountered. Food was fine but I nor any of the dozens of people we vacation with will ever return there based on the rudeness of this hostess.
Unfortunate that they have such a person as the face of the restaurant.
The food lacked flavor and was way overpriced. The portions were extremely small as well. We had high hopes but were disappointed for what we got for the money. If I were you, skip this one and go to McDonalds.
Wished we didn’t go. Feel like we flushed $250 down the drain. Food took forever because they “lost our ticket.” How could they when we were only people in the upstairs restaurant??? They should have offered us a discount - instead, lobster tail over cooked, steak over cooked. Just bad all around.
One of the nicest restaurants in the area. Nice ambiance, and the food was very good. Our waiter had just the right amount of friendliness and efficiency, without feeling intrusive. He was also able to give good recommendations on the food.
Horrible food for how massively over priced it is. Walked into a bathroom and got sprayed by an air freshener sitting on a paper towel machine. Obvious this is an owner that is more interested in making money off of tourists than making money by offering a quality experience. I would highly suggest you look somewhere else to eat.
Friendly service, large selection of items. Steaks were done as ordered. Server was knowledgeable, friendly, and order came out accurate.
First time dining out for a year and it did not disappoint. I felt safe and relaxed. Everything was wonderful.
