Very good food!
Lovely food, lovely staff and was very quaint. Perfect for a date for two!
The service was friendly and menu is very good value, unfortunately the food was a little underwhelming. It could have been our choices but there was a lack of the sophistication you’d expect from a French restaurant. This review isn’t meant to be negative, it’s definitely good value and the food is perfectly acceptable
Superb food, as ever. Perfect sea bass. Delightful servive from two young Italian women, one from Turin and one from Puglia - fantastic personalities. Charming. Yet another great night. The Macon Lugny was excellent too.
I have been coming here for years - a real hidden gem. Never had a disappointing meal. Heartily recommended.
Excellent in every aspect of dining out
Everything was fantastic as always. So happy it’s open again. Unusually quiet.
Great food, brilliant service, sweet, quaint atmosphere. Loved it.
Amazing food and atmosphere.
Freindly service with family run feel. Fabulous, unpretentious, Anglo-french dishes leaving you fulfilled and contented.
The first time out since covid19 closures and Pierre Victoire did not disappoint. The food was scrumptious and the staff were friendly. It's a cute laid back little space to have an amazing meal.
Always a friendly reception. Dependable food quality and excellent service.
At last, we got to visit our favourite Soho Bistro again. It was good to be back and the food and service was as good as it ever was. Sadly, people don't seem to be venturing out, at present. I'm hoping it's not long before the restaurants are back to their usual buzz. Thanks to the staff for a lovely lunch. 😁
Had lunch here on the 6th of July and food was perfect- great value as well and felt completely normal while feeling safe given the post pandemic situation
Perfectly cooked fish and great tasty confit de canard at really good value and a variety of wines by the glass. Nice place with good atmosphere.
We went with my partner on Sunday afternoon for a late lunch.
We had the starters and were more or less okay. price wise not really much to complain. the Squid sais on the menu salt and pepper, but it came deep fried with flour.
My GF ordered mussels first, 5 min later they came with and apologies and saying they were running out. She ordered hake fish. 10 min later again, no hake, and another apology. Finally, she ordered seabass which was okay.
The most disappointing thing it was people on the street was using the restaurant as a public toilet. We could count more than 12 people in 90 minutes using the premises just for toilets, not being even costumers. They asked for sanitized our hands, keep distances but, apparently no one from the street can use the toilet as a public one; the only thing missing was a toll, at least they could make some extra money.
I think they can improve much more the efficiency and take an extra care for the costumers which are the ones who sustain the restaurant, not the people on the street looking for a toilet desperately.
I’m sure it used to be a nice place in the pre lockdown era. But now, I honestly wouldn’t recommend it. First, the positives : The staff were friendly and ambience was lovely. But then: 1) We had a reservation but had to waited 15 minutes outside still. The drinks offered while waiting were also served late. The hostess was very friendly and apologised. 2) The mains - beef bourguignon and duck confit were delicious. Right after, we asked for crème brûlée. We were served liquid goo with raspberry on it instead of sugar! The waitress didn’t even warn us that we won’t get the proper dish. The dessert was awful. 3) No PPE or social distancing. We were aware that they don’t have social distancing in place but the staff was standing way too close to us and it didn’t seem to be very hygienic. Opening after lockdown comes with some responsibility.
I’ve been before and it was great but this time I have to say it was very poor. It was the first day after lockdown so service was very slow, but my duck was poor. Sorry guys. I’m sure you will get back the standard
Good food good service good price
Fantastic dinner experience after the lockdown.
We went to Pierre Victoire for the reopening of pubs and restaurants on the 4th of July.
We had the set menu. The quality of the food was outstanding and worth more than the price.
Very nice selection of wines too.
Really cosy restaurant- fabulous pretheartre menu with great choice range. Staff kind and helpful- enjoyed piano music and that the staff, with only a couple of minutes notice, produced a candle and decorated plate for a friends birthday while pianist played happy birthday. Really enjoyed meal and will definitely return
Delicious food, rather noisy! Great value. Fixed price menu is great
First time at this restaurant in London for me. Lovely ambience, especially after the table candles were lit. Lighting was lovely. Lovely warm glow in the whole restaurant. Quite French. Food was very nice and value for money too. Service also was quite good. Would definitely return if visiting London again. This was my friend’s second visit to the restaurant.
A very pleasant small bistro-style restaurant with good choice of dishes. Makes a pleasant change from larger ‘chain’ restaurants. Went out of their way to acknowledge my birthday.
Fantastic food as always. Very good value too. Delay with seating - previous booking didn’t leave table on time - so were bundled downstairs to wait ten minutes.
One of the best French meals!
As always the food was excellent and lunch is the best value anywhere in London.
Food wasn't up to much, waiters werent interested in feedback, won't be back!
A wonderful meal with excellent service.
Always recommend Pierre Victoire to everyone! Great location, great feed, great value.
A very nice restaurant . Have visited here before and went there this time with friends who were very impressed indeed.
Service was rude, mussels were very unfresh and reeked. The desserts were good however.
Food was well cooked and fairly generous portions. Service was efficient and polite but could have been a little friendlier. Wine was good. I would definitely recommend.
Really fabulous food and amazing value. More soft drinks choice would’ve been good
Came here second time as my first one was amazing. However, after this time I was a bit disappointed. My table had mean waiter who took a wrong order. Happens to everyone, but at least what he could do was to apologize and be nice... Two other witnesses who served us after were great tho. To replace the order it took them 20-25mins, so my dad was eating by himself while me and my mum were waiting for food to come.
Always excellent. Great value, lovely food and not expensive. The lunchtime set menu is really fantastic, great choice too.
Food was good, but the noise level was too much. the pianist was talented but the sounds was overwhelming and far too much for the small space
