Good food, great value, and a nice environment. Tables are a little squeezed in, but there was more than enough to compensate and we would definitely return.
We had a group of three sitting in the basement area, service was excellent and the food was absolutely beautiful in taste and visuals. One note about the basement is that sound tends to echo so be prepared to speak loudly if the room is full. The extensive wine list is a treat in itself, and the staff are warm and friendly.
Excellent food and value. My only gripe was being at a table next to outside with the windows open we were subjected to the smokers outside. Not a problem created by the restaurant just making other diners aware. Cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough
Absolutely wonderful experience! Food was brilliant (well cooked, brilliant value)! service was lovely and accommodating and the atmosphere was cosy and warm.
Hard to believe this restaurant is a small chain, it feels entirely independent. Definitely will be back to work our way through the menu!
Great food and great atmosphere, particularly enjoyed the pianist. Staff friendly and helpful with excellent service. Never disappoints.
Lovely french restaurant just a few minutes from Oxford Circus.
We had Calamari and Boeuf Bourguignon which was amazing.
Prices are acceptable.
Don't miss it!
We'll definitely be back soon :)
I have been dining at Pierre Victoire for many years and and have always found the food really good and at a reasonable price. However I have not been there for a while.
My recent visit was rather disappointing. The ambiance was not good; the piano player was playing some very boring and depressing tunes rather than the jazy, up beat tunes I remember from old.
Service was good and my partners roast duck excellent. My roast lamb was good but the dish looked a mess with the red wine jus all mixed with the avocado purée; yuk!
Also not do good value wise, especially the wine which has gone up in price a lot.
Very nice black olives on the table.
Croze Hermitage was a lovely wine
We loved the venue. Food was fantastic and service was over the top. Would definitely revisit.
Great food abs service. I’ll be back
Great restaurant in the Soho District. Food was delicious and service was great. It was romantic yet conducive to groups. Loved it. Will visit again next time I am in London.
Amazing time. We took friends who had never been before and they were amazed! So far in fact she booked a table with the waitress for December! Still waiting for confirmation
Love going there because the food is really good and the staff always polite and friendly, if you’re no happy about something they wll sort it out .
This charming restaurant served very reasonably-priced and tasty food with a myriad of flavours. The general ambiance was good, as was the service.
This was out third visit to this restaurant and in the past it has been difficult to get a table, the menu, food and ambience has been superb however no so this time. We booked for 7pm on a Saturday evening and to our surprise there were empty tables. This was due in our opinion to the very different menu below par food and especially to the new addition of an extremely loud piano player who seemed to be playing for his own amusement, so loud that we found it impossible to carry out a normal conversation and had shout to be heard when ordering our meal and drinks. The restaurant is too small and the piano ruined our intimate birthday meal in fact we nearly left before ordering. The menu is no longer typically french it is now a normal Mediterranean menu which you can get anywhere. So Au Revoir Pierre Victoire
Faultless on all counts. A truly memorable meal at a very reasonable price. I will definitely go back again.
Lovely food ruined by the table being squashed in and next to the piano player which we weren’t made aware of
Very good food and value for money as always, will be going again soon
Always excellent value , a taste of old soho. The set menu is imaginative and delicious - something for everyone.
Locale allegro. Ottima cibo. Personale cortese. Servizio rapido
Friendly, lively bistro-restaurant with good food and attentive staff - particularly good pre-theatre. When busy the restaurant can get a little noisy! Missed out on 5 stars due to minor problems - not all diners' orders appearing at the same time, steaks not cooked accurately to request.
Excellent menu, staff and atmosphere. Recommended - good value and superb food.
We love it here! Great ambiance, lovely staff, especially Matteo.
Already booked to come back!
Always great food and excellent service. If I have one criticism, it’s that the bread is always rather hard after it’s heated-up in the oven!
This little French Brasserie just off Oxford Street is such good value for money with friendly service and excellent food and wine for the money!
Tables are a little close together and it can be a bit noisy but if you want space and peace you'll have to pay a lot more!
The fixed price menu gives a great variety of choice!
Amazing as always..!! All 4 of us had a great meal..
Loved the food and ambience of this little restaurant. My partner and I particularly liked our starters of crab and mussels. 😋 Would throughly recommend
We came here the first time on my wife’s birthday last year as she loves french cuisine and we were delighted with the overall experience. Our first experience with oyster, very fresh, pan seared scallops, and the mains were the duck breast and pan fried sea bass fillets. We loved every bit of it to wipe our plates clean. For dessert we had the creme brûlée. We went back this year the second time and with friends and started off with scallops, grilled mussels and the crab with mayo, and happily finishing off with our plates of sea bass fillets, lamb rump, and duck breast dishes again. We missed out the Hake fish for main course as they were already out of it. Skipped the desserts as were too full and finished off with the Raquel dessert wine. Their selection of regular wines is good too and we had our reds both times. Every bit value for money, extremely delicious dishes and would highly recommend it. Had been waiting to go back on special occasions, but why do I need an occasion for an awesome experience! The attendants are always smiling! Have been to their sister-concern the Prix-Fixe too!
Even if you go at Pierre Victoire without know what you gonna order, don’t worry and don’t be afraid that everything you order it will be amazing.Good chef 👍
I booked through your website and we were given a table downstairs near the restrooms.
Upstairs ambiance and setting were much better.
Great food as always, excellent value and fabulous menu.
Excellent pre-theatre meal from the set menu, exceptional value for the location but nothing about the quality of food or service felt in any way cheap.
My friend an I wanted a late lunch near Piccadilly. I looked online and Pierre Victoire, caught my eye. The set lunch menu looked really good. Neither of us were disappointed, it was really good, nice food, wine and not too busy, as we arrived around 2.30pm.
I would definitely go again and recommend the lunchtime set menu.
Outstanding value with astonishing set-menu. Enthuiastic, excellent service by two (probably not British?) young waiters.
We will certainly return.
A lovely meal. Excellent service. I would like to know that any service we pay actually go to the staff and not purely to the management. We had a charming waiter and really hope that he would get the service which was added to the bill.
Never a disappointment - wonderful menu at such a reasonable price for the West End.
What made it particularly good this time was the excellent, friendly service from the two lovely Italian waitresses - they are a real asset to the restaurant. Thanks so much for making our lunch so enjoyable.
Nice menu and very tasty even though in the touristy area. Pleasant inside as well. We had all starters which were delicious and enough to share. The bottle of organic table wine was nicely priced too.
Lovely lunch at PV in London. We love the restaurant in Oxford and tried this one. The set lunch was great, particularly the pulled chicken salad as a starter, which was great value! Steak was tasty and staff were very friendly. Definitely recommend!
Main course sent back as inedible as very salty. Waitress agreed but forgot to replace the meal . Others had same problem. Had been lookng forward to the meal as part of a treat. Have been there lots of times, but felt it lacking this time.
