Wonderful french cuisine, definitely love it! Would like to come again!
This is our go to restaurant when we see a show - great food and good value. It was very noisy downstairs as a large party but we were moved to a different table so happy and impressed with the service
The fact it’s so small and the tables close together creates the atmosphere. Really good value restaurant and great for a pre theatre dinner.
Fabulous food, good choice of well priced wine and amazing staff.
Top notch food and service as always!
Would definitely visit again.
My favourite restaurant! Always outstanding food and ambiance
Wonderful meal. Great value and excellent attentive staff. Would highly recommend
Booked for Valentine's day but was given a set menu that was double the price of the regular 2 course meals. Not much variety on the menu either.
Great food and lots of choices from starters to deserts
Pre-theatre supper. Excellent choice on the menu. Delicious food and decent size servings. Friendly, fast service. Buzzy atmosphere. A full house! Would definitely go again.
We needed to eat in 45 mins in time to get to a theatre show, and the hosts were brilliant at ensuring our food came out very quickly and the bill too so we could make it in time. We would like to go back for a more relaxed meal as the food was really nice and the atmosphere was lovely with a live piano player and low lighting.
Went there with some friends to celebrate my birthday. The atmosphere was amazing- pianists playing, candle light, pretty people around.. Service and food were absolutely perfect. Couldn’t choose a better place for birthday dinner. Thank you and will be coming back here for sure!
Been here a few times now and it is never disappointing!
Excellent meal very reasonably priced
Very pleasant, small and busy bistro. Interesting and varied menu. Maldon oysters good quality but a bit briny for my taste. The rib-eye steak was done in a classic French way with butter and excellent!
One of our favorite resturants allways good , food allways hot i dont like cold food which happens a lot in other resturants staff are excellent .
Good food, reasonably priced. A good place to visit when in Soho. I keep going back, so that says a lot. I'm still disappointed I have not seen my favourite starter on the menu again - the polenta with mushrooms in cream and thyme, possibly the nicest thing I've ever tasted!
I'll be visiting again soon 😁
Great experience as always. The warm goats cheese salad was exquisite. My ribeye to follow was cooked to perfection. The only minor issue on this occasion was the noise. It was a Friday night and the customers were having a fun time but were having to raise their voices above the piano music. The pianist is great but the room rather too small for the volume. A great place.
Great food and service. Excellent for catching up with friends or a date, although quite noisy.
We have been eating here for many years now and it is our first choice when going to the theatre or for lunch when shopping. Menu choices are varied and good set priced menu. We absolutely love the ambience here and it has a proper ‘French bistro’ feel about it. Really appreciated the piano player, just added that extra special touch to ouf evrning. Thank you!
Evacuated at end of meal so not a problem. I exploded bomb did not spoil a great meal.
Quality of the food is absolutely amazing. The restaurant was too busy and subsequently the staff looked very stressed and harassed.
This also lead to errors in service where they gave us the dessert menu whilst we were waiting on our our main course.
Had to wait quite a while for our table on arrival and then I was listed as a no-show on OpenTable which I had to correct.
The very high level of the food compensates for the loud frenetic atmosphere.
We came to the restaurant to celebrate mine and my boyfriend's Birthday and had the most delicious meal. The atmosphere was great and service was good when considering the restaurant was packed. You would definitely need to book if going on a weekend.
It was packed and too noisy for us. We've been before at other times and always enjoyed the ambience and food. We had a problem with a long wait for our starters. We talked to our waitress at the end of our meal and she apologised saying she had asked the kitchen 3 times for them. I'm not sure why she didn't say this at the time. It won't put us off going again except for a saturday evening.
We booked in advance through open table which was just as well as the Pierre Victoire was very busy. Despite this we received excellent service and the meals were well prepared and cooked to perfection.
A great little restaurant - very good food, great atmosphere and very good value in a part of town where restaurants are often pretty pricey.
Everything was amazing. Couldn’t fault anything. Top class
A good all rounder. Great food and excellent value and good service. I’d really recommend it. The pre-theatre menu is great value.
Gaff was banging, food was banging and the wine was banging. Recommended
Very nicely cooked delicious food. Quick service.
Great food, friendly staff, very noisy, great ambience. Only negative is that you only get 2 hours on your table before next booking.
Unfortunately, it is not such a great expetience, although food is mostly good. The very high noise level could have been easily reduced by not packing in so many tables and in the most inconvenient unpleasant places to sit. And the banging of the refrigerator door, near the bar, doesn't help. The interior is a bit dark and outdated but the crowd never lessens as it is an excellent location for lunch and dinner. The staff''s friendliness needs an upgrade, they rarely can muster a smile. All together, these things lessen the enjoyment.
The food was simply wonderful, as always. My friend for the mackerel as a starter, while I went for a salad with potatoes, bacon and a fried egg. As mains, he had the duck while I went for the fish with the prawn risotto. What can I say ? Presentation was very nice, but this fish with risotto was something else ! Will go back anytime, especially when you consider the quality and the price. For London, let me tell you it's quite exceptional. We paid under £20 each service charges included. Highly recommended, although I am not sure I should do it, as it might induce more people to go, making it more difficult to book a table. But I cannot help it. Go there and you won't be disappointed.
Fabulous place. Only be prepared to shout to get yourself heard! Service ok. Food came at right speed once ordered. Very good value. Tasty food. Recommend.
We were able to be moved to a window seat and also enjoyed the piano player - loud enough to hear but did not drown out the conversation.
Our time was limited as we were on the way to the theatre, so appreciated the prompt service.
Staff friendly and courteous and food delicious.
The booking process through Open Table was efficient, and we were shown to our table immediately on arrival. The restaurant was very busy but the service we received was excellent, with just about the right amount of time between arriving and having our order taken, and again for the arrival of the food. The quality of all courses was very good, and both food and drinks were priced very reasonably.
Nice food, sensibly priced (we went for pre theatre so great deal) no rush, service attentive and very friendly. Lovely unique restaurant and away from usual chains. Piano player was on, so added to the mood and not too loud so we could still have a conversation. Will keep returning :)
Good value fixed price menu for a pre theatre lunch.Have been a couple of times and will go again
This restaurant in middle of London, just off Oxford Street is as good a restaurant for good quality food and extremely good value as you can get. The choices are numerous and varied, however due to the value, Steaks are additional cost to the set menu which is approx 15 pound for 3 courses. This is a brasserie venue and not a posh restaurant, however it is very popular and I suggest booking to confirm a table will be waiting.
Good food, nice environment.
