Apart from the bargain set lunch (reportedly one of the best value Michelin star lunches in London), prices are reassuringly top-end, but there’s ample value in a book-sized wine list, with “incredibly helpful” sommeliers.

Great vegan food: Fantastic starters, flawless mains. Deserves the Michelin star. Service a bit unprofessional and helpless at times (gave the separate sauce for the starter once we started eating) - but still very accommodating and overall competent.
Just fantastic in every way
Most of the staff was very nice, but the waiter that took our food order was rushing us and advising as it’s Saturday night and a busy kitchen we will have to either both choose vegetarian, or pescatarian taster menu, not one each (for the record the pescatarian option was not on the menu).
My bread plate was not very clean, the lights in the restaurant show every single smudge, my desert wine glass was chipped.
Food was amazing, but definitely on the pricey side.

Hugely disappointing, highly expensive and extremely average bland food. Way too salty with very little taste.
After we made an online reservation and turned up on time we were refused a table on the basis that the kitchen was closed.

A little noisy...that’s the fault of the excitable customers. Great food. Great service.
Food was very disappointing, especially for a restaurant that has a Michelin star. With the exception of the amuse bouche and the John Dory, there was an obvious absence of seasoning. The cuttlefish dish was a sloppy mess, with unseasoned tomatoes and over cooked fish awash in a messy lake of underseasoned sauce.
The sommelier was charming and informative. The waitstaff appeared disinterested.
Would not recommend.
The lamp over the table was dirty, the rug had been “mended” with duct tape.
All in all, a sub-par dining experience that did not warrant the expense.
This was our third time here, we brought two friends who were most impressed with the food, service and ambience. We each had the lunchtime menu complet, each course was exquisite and included excellent wine chosen for us by the sommelier. This was good value. Yet again this was a great experience.

Very very disappointed.
We went for the 10 course tasting menu (1 meat and 1 vegetarian).
All the dishes were so so salty that we did not enjoy our meal at all and were just looking forward to dessert the whole time.
We requested for the salt to be reduced half way through the meal but it did not change that much.
We were celebrating my friends 30th birthday.
1) We had to leave within 2.5hrs of arriving and I had called up the restaurant beforehand to make them aware of this. I reminded them again of this subtly during the visit, I spoke to them on the sly so my friend would not know we had another activity planned. A waiter came to the table and specifically told us that it would be possible to do the meal within 2hrs infront of my friend - this totally ruined the next surprise and defeated the point of speaking subtly to them.
2) When the dessert plate was brought out with the birthday message, it was done in such an underwhelming way.
Overall it was a very average and ok experience. We did not fell like it was a Michelin star experience at all.
The ambiance is definitely worth the cost. The cost creates the ambiance.
Sad to say was quite a let down. Have heard alot of good things about this place. But sadly quite a let down. Feels dated and food was a miss.
The food and wine on the tasting menus were very good indeed, and the bill certainly reflected this. Our only complaint was that one of the sommeliers, in his attempt to educate us about the wine, asked us where we thought each wine came from and his responses, when we were incorrect, felt patronising
Long established restaurant with an imaginative and well delivered tasting menu. It is pricey but worth it.
Everything was great. Food was lovely and the wine was delicious.
We had the tasting menu and it was a truly fantastic experience. Each course was innovative and delicious and left us curious as to what was coming next. The staff were unfailingly polite and professional and created a comfortable atmosphere, while still making us feel incredibly special. It was my partners birthday, and I had specified that in the booking, so the kitchen wrote Happy Birthday in chocolate on his dessert plate. Just another wonderful touch.

Found the sommelier to be knowledge, helpful, and very approachable. Some didhes were extremely delicious -quail and deer in particular- others fois gras and pork were good, but not memorable
We truly enjoyed our experience. Had the surprise tasting menu with wine parings. One member of our party has a nut allergy and the kitchen was more than happy to accommodate. Food was delicious and creative. Wine parings were unique, interesting and paired perfectly with every course. The sommelier was fun and very willing to share his knowledge. Service was excellent w/o being obsequious. The owner was so very nice and welcoming. Would highly recommend this hidden gem!

This was a very special lunch with a friend catching up on our news. It could not have been a better occasion with discrete and helpful service with a glass of water already on the table awaiting us. the food was delicious
The 10 courses tasting menu was too simple for a Michelin stared restaurant! Most of the plates were missing flavor!

Food was so salty i felt dizzy and sick afterwards. Nothing special if you want to go for a vegan tasting menu best go to Fera or Gauthier instead. Atmosphere was ok service was pretentious and poor. Price wasn’t too bad but the fact that service was bad and food made me sick i would rather go to Wagamama.
They forgot to serve the petit fours. Food was okay. Desserts left a lot to be desired.
Won’t come back again
An exceptional evening. We dined at L'Autre Pied a number of years ago and having been talking about it ever since. As such we were most excited to visit Pied a Terre. We were disappointed. Superb food and the wine was outstanding, Tom Baxter the Sommelier was entertaining, knowledgeable and provided an evening of discovery with his excellent choices. Would highly recommend.
Ordered vegetarian set, the food was very ordinary and really tasteless. The service was not the level of Michlen Star restaurant. So really would not return and recommend to anyone.
The Sommelier was excellent. I would go there for his recommendations alone. The quail was the stand out dish.
When I arrived I made a specific request but was dismayed when this was completely forgotten and I had to go to reception to sort it out which was embarrassing in front of my guests.
