I go often and I simply love this place! Brunch is my favourite but also aperitivo only is cool there!
Lovely restaurant. Had a drink in the bar before we ate. Wonderful food and service.
Hi Victoria, I'm glad to hear you enjoyed our restaurant. It's always nice to work up an appetite with an aperitif first! We'll see you soon!
The noise was appalling, even though we were seated in the room to the right which was quieter. I shall not be eating with you again solely on account of the noise.
Great location and lovely food for a leaving lunch.
From the moment we entered the host greeted us with a smile and made us feel welcome. Two salads were ordered, both excellent, service excellent, great value for money.
Hi Joe, Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. I am happy to hear that you enjoyed your experience with us as we always try to make each guest as welcome and comfortable as possible!
I booked Percy & Fonders for my wife's birthday on Saturday the 28th of September. Herself and 4 of her friends attended the bottomless brunch that afternoon.
Sadly my wife and her friends reported this as the worst restaurant experience they've ever had. From unedible food, slow and unresponsive service to being told I would receive an apology email with an offer of a free meal to try and make up for this.
Alas, I am yet to receive any such apology or email from the manager.
Sadly this did ruin my wife's birthday and I very much doubt I or my wife's friends will return.
A tiny bit noisy from the busy bar area, very nice interior, friendly welcome, good and speedy service from our friendly French waitress
Excellent main courses, freshly prepared, with delicious sides. The vegan pudding was tasteless and disappointing. Good service. A nice place for lunch, away from the hustle and bustle.
The foods were not good ... used to be better
Great food and ambience but the food took way too long to come we waited 45 mins between our starter and our main on a Wednesday eve.
We enjoyed the dinner very much. Food was delicious and service was attentive. I would be back for the Ricotta dumplings!
It was a noisy bar with large groups so we were seated near the bar. Food was good but overpriced - £9.00 for a starter! Mains were tasty but small portions. I thought the service was excellent as the waitress was knowledgable about food & drink. Thank you so much for extra truffle oil on my chips. Overall I would try another restaurant as there are so many to choose from in London.
The whole dining experience was wonderful
Staff were professional and attentive
The food was great
It has a very pleasant setting indoors and outdoors . Only objection I have is to the solid partition dividing dining area from the rest . This rather spoils the ambiance . A see through partition would be much better (if anyone is listening) . My wife service friendly and helpful ; pricing not OTT . Good combination . It has come a long way from it's opening days
Service was quite slow, especially around the bottomless drink refills. The unlimited pancake option that we went for was good value, but the toppings quite basic - would be good to allow diners to mix and match toppings. Beautiful venue, handy location.
Sunday roast was amazing and the bottomless pancakes as well. Service was great and very nice ambiance on a Sunday as it wasn’t too busy
Great food and service and wonderful to east outside on a warm summer evening.
Great food in a lovely lunch easy going environment. Ideal chilled lunch!
Perfect for breakfast
Went for breakfast and sat outside on the beautiful terrace. I struggled to choose what to have as there were numerous dishes on the menu that I wanted! The service was slow, though this may have been because we were sat outside and not in their eyesight. The portions were quite small for the price but they were delicious.
The place is nice with a good atmosphere. The food is average and overpriced for what they offer. Overall is ok, I just would come back regularly.
Food was delicious but the menu is a little Winter like for August. Staff were fantastic although I don’t think people
should be allowed to smoke on the terrace when people are eating. It’s a little too enclosed for that.
There was a hair in the food & dirty glasses
Food was good although served far later than promised - but b buzzy and lively in a week evening
Food was excellent, but service was extremely slow. One more experience like this one, and we would not return again. Person we talked to about it, said they’re busy, but that was really not a satisfactory answer. Perhaps someone did not show up for work, we don’t know, but some more effort should have been put it in explaining situation and making us happy.....wanting to return.. Too bad, because food and ambience are excellent as are most of staff. One of the people serving us was not.
Used their Diner 50% voucher. Great setting, got a quiet space. Nice fresh food and attentive service.
Had a business lunch here and all three of us really liked the ambience, the environment, art on the walls, the spaciousness, professional service and excellent food.
Lovely place for breakfast or lunch. Good service and lovely setting.
Great place for a work lunch or meeting friends, gorgeous venue!
Quite noisy, and as ever, felt a little under-staffed (perhaps because they currently offer a discount on food Monday-Wednesday and they may not anticipated such a high level of take-up on a Wednesday evening).
Polite and helpful waiting staff who dealt with an IT failure with good humour.
Great dishes, thoroughly reccommend the bread nibble. A little noisy and slow with the bill being bought over otherwise a genuinely great spot!
Great place for breakfast
I have been here a few times. On this occasion I wondered how it went so wrong. The waitress was probably the worst I have ever come across. She was dismissive on numerous occasions. Her service was on her agenda. It didnt matter if we were deep in discussion, she failed to read the room and would approach us at the most inconvenient times. When we needed her - she was no where to be seen. When I wished to order, on being seated, it took me 20 minutes to get her attention. On taking my drink order, as i was reading the menu to order some nibbles, i looked up to find she had already walked off. RUDE! not to mention bad service. I then spent 5 minutes waving down another server. At one point, the horrid music was way too loud and i asked if it could be turned down a notch. Her response was shocking to say the least. I received an education on why the music was loud. It is loud so it can be heard over the guests. The more guests/customers, the louder the music. To that I responded, but this is a restaurant! its not a club. We are here to socialise and talk and one cannot talk if one is needing to shout over music. She did nothing and did not care to listen. Her entire mannerism is WRONG. Wrong industry - people like her have no place in the service industry. Now, our food was hit and miss. Wagu burger DRY and certainly NOT medium. It was so brown that one would wonder if it were ever pink. The sauces and burger toppings were good - but the meat was as dry as cardboard. The fish main - turbot - was nice - although it must have been cooked in so much oil. Quite greasy. The desert - nice Sticky Toffee pudding. Would i recommend this place? nope. Absolutely not. Food was okay, but the service was the worst ever.
It was a lovely afternoon and being able to sit outside made all the difference. Food was lovely and the staff were accommodating and helpful especially with the baby. Their facilities were some of the best I’ve seen for baby changing.
I would recommend to review your menu, to add more in-between dishes. What I mean by it is than on menu you have option salad (light dish) or quite heavy meat dishes, but nothing that's would be between those two. Yes, I know you can add meat to the salad, but still it is considered to be light dish due to the base.
Table of 5 at 1pm on a Saturday afternoon. Bottomless prosecco for 2hrs at £18 per person and the waitress was really good at keeping us topped up. Really fantastic food in a truly tasteful setting. Can’t wait to return!
Percy and Founders is nice! Lovely table on looking the Fitzrovia chapel. Nice atmosphere. Fond of the place! Sometimes better deals on certain days. Enjoy their Sunday Lunch when special offers on. Recently had lunch there. Salmon salad was nice but didn’t like the fennel much! Nice because on some occasions have been able to bring my dog and eat in bar area!
Went for a family members birthday. He was absolutely satisfied saying his burger was the best he has ever had.
Service was incredibly slow on a quiet Tuesday lunch and food not good enough
Delicious but very pricey
