My reservations on 8/4/19 was for 1pm I arrive 15 mins prior only to find a note on the door closed due to construction. No phone call or email to notify customers of this is very disappointing.
Made a reservation for last Sunday and they never bothered to let us know they were closed for renovations.
We show up to the location to find a paper in their door saying "closed for renovations." In our time there, two other parties showed up to their reservations and were as confused as we were. Another group even mentioned that they called to confirm the previous day--they couldn't believe it. How did the restaurant not think to notify us? A simple call or email? Some people had to drive far to get here, only for it to be closed.
I was extremely disappointed as this is something I had planned for a while FOR MY BIRTHDAY and I had even contacted them regarding large parties. The manager replied to our email and never mentioned them being closed, even though the date we wanted was the main part of the email. Extremely disappointed and will not come back to this business. I DO NOT recommend!
Restaurant was closed with no notice. Nothing on the website, nothing via OpenTable.. no communication. No phone message or anything... Had to scramble for a new reservation for a large group. Very disappointing
Food was great, service was awesome! Loved the views and the cute atmosphere of the place. Price of the champagne package is ridiculous for what you get. But when in Rome... overall, My party had a great time.
Just normal fare food. No wow factor. Service was good. Food is mediocre. For the prices they charge, you could go somewhere else and get higher quality food.
The customer service from the runners is better than the host or the servers customer service. As soon as you walk in to an establishment you are usually greeted with energy. This place was not energetic. It has potential but management needs more guidance on who to have as a host in order to bring out the ultimate experience from start to finish.
Lovely setting, I love the floral wall that says Pearl’s on it. So aesthetic, beautiful and relaxing! The food was all excellent, but so small and had no sides! The hot chicken sandwich was lovely but I wish I had a small salad or fries to go along with it.
Our server was very slow and unresponsive and didn’t seem particularly friendly, so that put a bit of a damper on the whole experience.
Lovely rooftop restaurant!
The waitresses were awesome! They sat us where we wanted to be seated right under the “Hello Darling” sign. The food and drinks were great!!! I would definitely come back. Katya was our waitress and she was the besssst!
This was the second loc
Such a special brunch! The mimosa kit was too cute to handle!
This place was so cute and our bartender/waiter with the short brown hair was the best!!! 😊
The waitress was very polite and went over the menu with us, answered our questions and was very patient. Overall experience was great.
Love the location and ambience. The decor is adorable and fun.
The food was delicious but as far as rooftop bars go, the view wasn’t my favorite. The decor definitely made up for that though!
This was my 2nd time at Pearl's Rooftop. I arrived early with my friend. The hostess offered to seat us early but it would be in the back terrace which was fine with us. The table and chairs are like really old patio furniture. The sofa along the wall was dirty and falling apart due to young girls sitting on the top to take instagram pictures.
Our waitress was nice. I ordered the Amethyst cocktail ($14!) and fried chicken with pancakes. The Amethyst cocktail tasted good and was really pretty. It was in a wine glass with ice, one blackberry and a paper straw (LA has a ban on plastic straws). The fried chick was really good. The pancakes were 3 large strips instead of normal round flat pancakes. Each one was topped with a strawberry. Really good with the syrup and chicken. Portion size was small which was fine with me. My friend ordered the egg white omelet with toast and tiny potatoes. Overall, it was a nice experience and I would come back again.
Good food and drinks. We had a great service as well. I gave 3 stars because I think the name can mislead if you are really looking for a rooftop like we were. The restaurant is in the second floor, a rooftop, but second floor, so forget the view and the rooftop feeling.
Great location, we went on date night and had a fun time, will be going again.
The place itself is really nice! The ambiance is nice and the decor is pretty. The food however was mediocre. Their brunch menu was very small and there weren’t really many options to choose from.
Service wasn’t very good and it wasn’t busy. Saw server standing behind bar and talking with other employees. Staff wasn’t very friendly. Server didn’t check on us or ask how food was. Got a flatbread and there was flour caked on the bottom. Drinks were average. It was our anniversary and nothing was mentioned at all (written on a note with reservation)
We were disappointed that we decided to celebrate our anniversary here with how poor everything was, we left early.
The food was good with a fairly simple brunch selection. The restaurant is very cute, perfect for a group brunch. Our first waitress was very nice and attentive. The only unpleasant hiccup came one we asked for the bill & seeing that we were automatically charged gratuity although our party was less than the amount notated on the menu for such an automation. Once brought to the attention of our second waitress she simply shrugged and claimed the menus were incorrect. After a little back and forth & our suggestion of honoring the menu, that was provided and printed on ALL the tables, she finally agreed to grab a manager. He also gave pushback until he eventually decided to reprint the bill and just remove a secondary champagne bottle ($25). That interaction made the experience less than stellar & encouraged us to leave a bit sooner than enjoying the rest of our time at brunch.
It was good food and mood with my good people. I was just disapointed they have separate menu on dinner and brunch.
This was my 2nd time visiting Pearl's. Unfortunately, the server this time was subpar to say the least. This was the worst experience with a server I've received within the past 10+ years. I literally can't remember a time when I received service this poor. The worst part, is that I was told our server was the MANAGER! He did not refill my water once so for the entire 2nd half of our visit my glass was empty. He never said hello, he just walked over 10 min after we were seated, and stated, "do you know what you want?"
The food was good again, nothing memorable, but average restaurant quality. Most of the appeal is with the ambiance and the intimacy of the space. It was still enjoyable on the rooftop, but I just can't get over how poor the service was. I will probably visit again in hopes that this was a one-off, but if it happens again I won't be back. I really hope the owner takes another look at the management staff they have in place.
Went to get Brunch, and it had ended. They didn’t have a full menu as it was changeover from Brunch to Dinner. Sat outside, which is a great rooftop, but they had a DJ spinning and the music was so loud that I was literally yelling at my friend sitting next to me. Asked if we could move, and the manager was willing to help us out, but table we were going to move to had been reserved the next hour. Manager was giving a little bit of attitude, not a lot, but enough for us to be put off. We quickly had a glass of wine and then left. Won’t be going back there anytime soon, or maybe ever again. Much better options in the neighborhood. Our server was nice and pleasant and understanding of the situation. We didn’t order / eat any food. Ambiance was awful though.
We had a great experience. Enjoyed the food.
A brunch with a mimosa kit can never go wrong. Fun spot to sit and the food was excellent!
The food was too small for the price and our waiter hardly served us. Not even the meal. Drinks were good!
Beautiful setting, very instagram worthy pictures could be taken. Food was delicious (zucchini pasta). Definitely recommend!
Really cute space. The food was excellent but the service was lacking. We waited a long time and never got to order a second round of drinks and waited over 20 minutes to receive our check. However, I would give it another try because the food and drinks were fantastic and the atmosphere is adorable.
The restaurant is cute and eclectic, however the service was awful. The servers/ hotesses were not friendly. The food lacked flavor and was completely overpriced. I paid $14 a mimosa! What was even more shocking was a bottle of champagne was $10 LESS than 4 mimosas! I don't have any intentions to return.
Perfect location on The Strip! The service was surprisingly great and our waiter was so knowledgeable about the food ingredients and wine. This place is actually the only bar I’ve been to with excellent food. Will go back!
Food was very good and atmosphere, but the service was awful. Once i arrived they rushed me to order my food because the kitchen was going to close. I reserved at 6:15 and they close at 7, so i don't understand why they would reserve at that time. On the website it says they close at 12pm that needs to be updated. Then the waitress brought us our bill without us even asking for it. Her excuse was that she had another job to go to.
Perfect spot for a girls' brunch, grad party, bachelorette party, mother's day, or any other girly activity!
The food took a very long time to bring. Our waiter was avoiding the table.
Reserved on Opentable but when we arrived, they would not honor the reservation, and were due right rude (even though they were only half full at 8:30pm). First and last time there. Be advised,
My table was beautiful, the waitstaff was very patient with my large party, and the event planners were very accommodating. The food! The lobster tacos are a must.
Lovely place so beautiful and "instagrammable". The food was delicious we had smoked salmon toast and a pepperoni flat bread. Both yummy and very filling!
The mimosa kits are super cute as well.
Weird, they have guest wifi but when we asked for the password our server said she would check (?) And then when she later returned to see how we were doing she didn't mention the wifi. Strange you'd have guest wifi but not give out the password.
The music could have been louder but maybe it was just drowned out by the noise/buzz of everyone enjoying their brunch
Apart from that everything else was perfect.
Great Sunday brunch place to hang out with your girlfriends.
Cute place but the food is not great. The quality doesn’t match what they charge for it. For example the steak looked like a steak from Norm’s and the Mac and cheese tasted like melted American cheese singles.
