This place is one of our favorites and again, we enjoyed all aspects of our meal. The space, the service, the food, the views- all super fabulous! We will continue to go to Palisade to honor the special occasions in our lives.
With Covid based operating rules, the restaurant was sparse, no condiments on the tables, paper - disposable Menu's. However, they are open and we get to get out of the house and enjoy a great meal. Service was good, my dinner was outstanding, Halibut over Lime Basmati Rice
Place is going downhill food quality and menu need help it’s tired
Service and food was outstanding. We will be back! Thank you Morgan for the great service.
The root beer roasted pork belly with grits was insanely great! We both got the prime rib which was excellent. Oysters were great as well. Michelle is fantastic and has been there for like 20 years.
so nice to enjoy a delicious halibut dinner at Palisades again.
Special occasion dinner. Happy to see them open and under new corporate mgmt (Landry’s). Hopefully will mean some updates to interior space post COVID. Very nice table overlooking marina. Easy to socially distance and obvious care being taken by staff. Calamari app was easily shared and excellent. Halibut was outstanding. Nice touch wait staff signed a Happy anniversary card and placed on our table.
The halibut was excellent, but pricey. The Seafood Butocini was not as flavorful as expected.
Delicious meal, well "socially distanced" and lovely server. We felt safe and happy!
It was perfect.
From the time we entered until the time we left it was an amazing experience.
Justin was a perfect server and made the meal that much better with winning recommendations
Palisade is a high-end restaurant my wife & I have gone to for special occasions numerous times over the years. Our friends from out of town who also loved Palisade suggested dinner during their visit to celebrate their 50th bdays and our wedding anniversary. We got a table along the windows with an incredible view. Had great cocktails with a couple appetizers that were wonderful (California rolls & pork belly), scrumptious cup of lobster/crab bisque, and main course of halibut, prime rib and steak. Everyone loved their meal. They also brought us each a nice dessert to share with a candle on each to go with the happy bday and happy anniversary cards they had on the table when we arrived. Service throughout from our server Geena was outstanding. All in all, a perfect evening.
Service is everything. Can make or break your experience. In this case how we were treated was as bad or worse than I have ever experienced. I brought a bottle of wine with me as I have done at this and other restaurants many times. I was rudely confronted by a woman who told me it was not allowed and must be taken out of the restaurant immediately. I was taken aback and asked why and she said they have never allowed outside wine. I told her this wasn't true. Then she said it was because of Covid. So my family was being seated and I was on my way to the car to drop off my wine, and I went through the bar to ask the bartender about this policy. He was a perfectly nice person and gave a proper answer. He stated they changed their policy in October. So it had nothing to do with Covid. I guess they just want the wine markup. The kicker was as I was having a pleasant conversation with the bartender, the woman who lied to me came rushing over, silenced the bartender mid-sentence with a hand motion, and said excuse me, I am the assistant manager and I you need to remove the wine from the restaurant immediately. I said fine but you didn't tell me the truth or accurate info about the policy. She demanded that she did, again very rudely. So I dropped the wine off, came back in, asked my family if they wanted to stay and they did not, so we left. We will NEVER go back to Palisade. We tolerated mediocre inconsistent overpriced tourist trap food in the past because of the beautiful setting and it's close to home. But you treat me like that and I will never return and I will write a review which I never do. Service is everything. Oh, and we then drove to Il Terrazzo Carmine and had an amazing dinner there as always.
The one disturbing aspect of our visit was my discovery that at least 2 of the men directly preparing and plating food were NOT ADEQUATELY MASKED. One was wearing a mask, but his nose was completely exposed. Another had a mask around his neck, but it was covering none of his mouth or nose. I pointed out the omissions to an employee, a woman with short dark hair whom I thought was a manager. She acknowledged she knew of the lapses, but seemed more annoyed at my discovery than the lapse.
Most people would not be able to see the kitchen, but for accessibility reasons we walked down a ramp adjacent to the kitchen. My dining companion did not want to leave and I did not want to disturb her dining experience so I did not make more of a fuss than reporting the lapse.
We selected Palisade to celebrate my dining companion’s birthday. We have dined there many times over the years for special occasions.
The food and service were both wonderful as usual. Our server Justin took great care of us.
All servers were wearing masks and gloves and appeared to be taking the precautions required of restaurants, including cleaning a table after the guests departed. Most guests wore masks when walking through the restaurant, but I saw at least one group that did not. I am far more understanding of that lapse than the ones in the kitchen.
I must say I was completely and unpleasantly surprised that a restaurant as renowned as Palisade would appear to be cavalier about ensuring its guests’ safety and complying with Covid-19 regulations behind the scenes of what people could see.
an overprice place with mediocre food. The view and location is great, I guess that's why people come here, but if you come for the food then you have much better restaurant choices. Table cloth would go long way's in the presentation. they place is quite dark if you don't get a table on the window. Oysters have been great, real fresh.
Birthday dinner was special. The restaurant went overboard to make it feel safe and enjoyable
Food was outstanding! Social distancing handled perfectly. So fun to get out to have a gourmet dinner with friends!!! Thanks.
Probably due to COVID19 they have limited menu, so some of our favorites gone. We used to go to this restaurant and they have the best seafood in Seattle, unfortunately not this time. We try 4 different main courses between 4 of us and it was average, not the quality we expected from this restaurant. Service was great as usual. Great vine selection.
Food was good. Service was excellent. One of my favorite places. Thank you
The waiters were excellent. Food was good. Highly recommend.
Always a great place to dine with beautiful marina/mountain/city view!
Loved the root beer braised pork belly appetizer! Our entrees were good (tasty), but overcooked (wagyu sirloin and halibut).
Due to limited capacity, the atmosphere was more quiet, like fine dining and without the chatter - which I personally liked! I could hear our conversation as a family.
First time eating here post Covid-19 shutdown. They did a good job of making sure each table was socially distant and items were only used once. Great view as always.
Amazing food, views, and service.
Not much to say, the best place in Washington to grab a steak by the water.
we love dining at Palisade but the food quality and service was not as amazing as before. still very good though.
Fathers Day. We all enjoyed the evening very much.
