Pachamama is a bar and restaurant in Marylebone that serves Peruvian-inspired dishes, made with the best of British produce.

Monday to Friday lunch is where we serve our selection of ceviches, along with the best Peruvian burger in London, chargrilled chicken and much more.

The weekend brunch at Pachamama has been widely-regarded as serving the best waffles in London with toppings like fried chicken or plantain and peanut butter.

Dinner at Pachamama is a celebratory affair with a menu of small and large dishes to share. From snacks to ceviches, land, sea and soil, the menu has something for everyone with a focus on bold flavours, citrus and smoke.

The bar at Pachamama serves expertly-made cocktails using only Pisco and is a great place for an after dinner drink or to sit and enjoy the evening over a bottle of wine.

The food was absolutely delicious, loved the small plates and the sweet potato waffle, the lunch set menu is pretty good for value and the service is lovely too! Definitely would go back and recommend to other people!

To be honest, I left the restaurant before eating. Music very very very loud. I couldn't even have a conversation with my friend. Looks like you are at a disco. We decided to leave for another restaurant in the area.

superb food excellent service staff are lovely but the restaurant is far too noisy one cant speak to each other at the table unless they scream

they should do something about the level of noise
on top they had a DJ and the noise was unbearable
such a shame as the rest of the experience is great!

Great food, lovely service and a very “gramable” venue

Quite lively and loud so this is very much a place for going out with friends - not a quiet date

Staff & management are awesome!

We had the lunch time special at £35/head. Food was different and very tasty. The restaurant was rather quiet so difficult to say if the noise level was unusually quiet. Service was warm, friendly and helpful. Our server was very good at explaining was everything was.

The music was a little loud with an annoying bass beat - but the food was so delicious and the service so delightful that I didn’t mind.

The tasting menu was to die for. Sensational flavours and textures. Creative. Surprising. Gorgeous.
The restaurant is below ground level so don’t go if you’re looking for an outdoor summer experience. But go! Just go - and feast and marvel!

All the courses that we had were really very good. Beef croquettes, Ceviche, aubergine and lamb ribs were very delicious. It's worth trying different cocktails as well.

We went for the tasting menu and it was all super delicious and really interesting. Problem was they brought out all the dishes at once (table was tiny) instead of waiting until we had finished the respective courses. Not great as food got cold.

But the sea bass ceviche, duck in rice, fried aubergine and miso carrots were phenomenal. Also the quinoa ice cream was so great! Odd combination but really tasty.

Party of 6 friends, food was fantastic except for the chicken was just, well, a piece of chicken... in particular the sea bass and crab churros were memorable. The cocktails were bizarrely old fashioned, like something my grandmother would have drunk in the ‘70’s.

Our only real gripe was the noise level, or rather the effing DJ who thought we all went to listen to their very average (at best) beats rather than actually eat. Hi Pachamama, you’re running an eating establishment not a nightclub, if I want my ears to bleed and shout at the people sitting next to me I’ll choose to go to a club or bar...

Despite the excellent food we all left with tinnitus and said we would not go back, a real shame.

Helpful and friendly service in a very busy and buzzy restaurant (loud music means you have to shout at many of the tables). Food is tasty and interesting. It doesn't come out cheap, but it's worth it.

We came across Pachamama as it was near to our Hotel. We decided to cancel an existing dinner booking as we had not been to a Peruvian restaurant before and give it a try, we are so glad we did.
The ambience is really nice with a youngish crowd, it may be a bit noisy for some though!
The tapas style of the menu is easy to select a good range of dishes.
The service was excellent too!

A great tasting menu as an introduction to Peruvian cuisine - varied, flavoursome and beautifully presented. Loved the ceviche and the duck was a a firm favourite with the whole table. Got good advice on wine to accompany the meal after trying the pisco sours. Will definitely be back.

Good food, good cocktail and great service. With the explosion of Peruvian or Peruvian fusion restaurant in London, pachamama is still a good choice but it is in the same price band as Chotto Matte, which was outstanding. Time to up your game pachamama.

I have been to this restaurant a few times with friends before and enjoyed the experience but this time the experience was not that pleasant. The food was the biggest disappointment. It was definitely not as good as previously; I found a few dishes either very salty (we had crispy seabass and cod) or without much taste at all (carrot with quinoa). The seabass was very overcooked as well, we expected it will be crispy but not charred, there were a lot of bones it it, but because of the way it is cooked it was very difficult to remove those. The only dish which was ok was the aubergine dish but it was not as good as I remembered from my last visit. Also, we received the dish we did not ask for and later another waiter brought another dish which was for another table again. It seems that there were a few waiters serving us and maybe this is an issue, as they do not know what we ordered. Also, although we were allowed to stay a bit longer than our allocated 1 hour 45 minutes slot (!); it is not a nice experience when you meet with your friend for a dinner and you are under constant time pressure as around 1 hour 30 minutes we felt that we overstayed our welcome. I do not support the strict time slots in the restaurants in general but I think 1 hour 45 minutes slot is not acceptable in the restaurant (unless you go to McDonald's..). Overall, I do not think I will be returning as the food was not very good and rather expensive. Also, around 7pm the loud music started playing (there was a DJ on that night), I think it should be stated somewhere where you book that there is a DJ. I did not expect the night club rather than a restaurant atmosphere. It was not possible to hear anything, I ended up shouting so my friend could hear me at all; not what I expected at all. Very disappointing.
