It was a nice place. We thought it was a little on the expensive side for how much food you get. It tasted good, but nothing really wowed us. Service was lackluster.
I would go there again if someone else really wanted to, but I wouldn't be the one suggesting it.
faba hummus ,greek salad , lamb lollipops ,baked halibut . All a 10, outstanding and delicious
Good food but not an authentic Greek restaurant - more of a "Greek-themed" restaurant.
I think this is the best Greek food in all of Seattle. Food is unique and creative and the interior is clean and relaxing.
Real unique food experience, with a focus on super fresh fish options. Service was fantastic as well: My wife and I were on the fence about which daily fish special to order, and our waiter offered to take us down to see and pick our own fish fresh on ice! We chose a delicious fish shipped fresh from Greece. Very cool experience.
We had a delicious meal by a family team. You can feel it!
Been here many times and it never disappoints! Highly recommend the halloumi and the lamb!
Amazing service and food. Sat close to the door and it stood open after anyone passed through. A simple auto closer would be great
We went for a family birthday celebration and everything was great! Our waiter was good at making recommendations but also listening to our preferences. Our party included several food allergies, intolerances and dislikes to deal with, but we were able to find things for everyone and the waiter was careful to be sure that allergens were identified for each dish. Everybody came away satisfied and happy. We also enjoyed the pace of the meal which was never hurried but never too slow. It is a good place for an evening when you just want to spend some time together and enjoy some good food! Thank you for a wonderful experience!
Loved it. Great food and atmosphere. Nice open and inviting dining area. The food is outstanding and healthy. My new go to place.
4 of us for dinner ordered 4 different things + dips and greek salad + dessert. Everything was EXCEPTIONAL. We all raved. Impeccably prepared.
What a great experience. The food was carefully prepared and the service was excellent.
We loved it. The fish is prepared so fresh, light and tasty. The lamb chops were like butter. Hummus and squash fritter - yum. Highly recommend for a great and healthy meal.
Fantastic food and service. Hummus and Tzaziki best ever tasted. Sea Bass prepared at the table fantastic. Excellent wine list.
Always great and consistent. Grilled Halloumi, Octopus, and Mediterranean sea bass such a treat. Thank you chef Thomas for the great work.
This place is a jewel. The prie fix dinner on Christmas Eve was amazing. This was our fourth. Visit tp Omega Ouzeri. Each time we’ve dined we have had wonderful meals at good value. We look forward to many visits in. The future.
Best Greek restaurant in Seattle. Modern, refined interpretations of Greek classics. Outstanding grilled sea bass deboned at table... just like at a seaside taverna in the Greek Islands. Terrific selection of excellent Greek wines. Thomas, the gracious proprietor, splits his time between the open kitchen and welcoming guests. On a busy night, the room is full of energy, but the pace of the meal is leisurely... like in Athens. We love it!
The best whole seabass in town.
Fabulous modernist take on Greek food. Sea Bass was shown fresh to us before being beautifully grilled. Amazing vegetarian moussaka and delicious tender lamb chops. The staff was attentive and knowledgable and the all greek wine list is great. Cool decor and it was quite the night we went.
The best Greek food I have ever eaten. Excellent selection of Greek wines. Delicious dips, particularly the fava bean, and fresh warm pita bread. The meatballs and whole fish stood out. The dessert donuts were unbelievable.
Tasty, interesting food served home style. Great place to nosh and linger
Fantastic food and service! I love this place, been here many times and it never disappoints. Best Greek food in Seattle by far. Love everything about it, the food and ouzo and wine are all amazing. And everyone who works there is so friendly.
Terrific waiter. Wish food was more authentic Greek.
Loved the food and the opener was very friendly and accommodating. Will go back for sure!
Get the moussaka. You’re welcome.
Very slow service
The food was fantastic. Perfect seasoning on the lamb lollipops, dip duo was just the right amount and the savory dessert was indeed savory. The service lacked a bit but the food made up for it.
First of all, Omega Ouzeri uses excellent ingredients. This is critical. One of our criteria for restaurants is the olive oil they serve. We requested some for our Sea Wolf bread, and it was green, aromatic, and scratched the back of our throats. Just how we like it. And, great feta, flavorful tomatoes (how does that happen in the late fall?) in the Greek Salad.
I had the grilled fish, not the bronzino. Delicious. Octopus likewise. Regarding the gigante bean salad, it was delicious, but it would be nice to offer half the portion for half the price. It was too much for the two of us.
Having grown up in a Chicago suburb surrounded by Greeks, I appreciated the honey soaked cookies and baklava. My wife similarly liked the rice pudding.
Wonderful food with outstanding service. The food recommendations and amount of food to share between two people was spot on. Thank you for making our experiance wonderful. Looking forward to my next dinner visit.
Faba been hummus, lollipop lamb chops ,olive oil cake ,greek beer ,a 10!!!! Great service ,a great meal!!!
We went for restaurant week and now I want to go back as many times as we can. We ordered the risotto, short ribs and the lamb, and my god... the lamb was succulent, the short ribs would melt in your mouth, and the seafood in the risotto was cooked to perfection. The service was excellent- our kind server walked us through the wine list and gave us fabulous recommendations. Great experience and incredible baklava!
Great spot to grab some classic Greek dishes. Will go back for sure.
Best Greek food I've had in a long time. The lamb chops were cooked to perfection and beautifully seasoned. The waiter was very helpful in making suggestions, upon request. The atmosphere was lively, but not so loud that you couldn't hear your dining companion. I'm going back for more.
Four of us had a great celebratory dinner - son's engagement to his long-time girlfriend - and the service was pretty perfect. We shared many dishes, and especially enjoyed the grilled whole fish the waiter filleted at the table. The dips were great and the pita kept coming. We will return!
We had the octopus and the market seafood special which happened to be spot prawns that night. Everything was good and delicious! Highly recommend for any Mediterranean lovers
We ordered a whole fish, ~$60. Server said the fish was under done, sent it back. They threw it in the oven and then it was completely overdone! What a waste!
The food is SOOOO delicious here. Truly a Greek Restaurant. Every dish was superb! Zuchinni Fritters, Greek Salad, Octopus... the lamb (oh my!)…. and amazing Greek Wine! It was truly an experience! Owners are very involved and great. Bar tender was great as well. Our waiter was new and didn't seem to know the food or wine list very well... but overall it was an amazing meal and environment. I'll always come back.
Loved the chickpea pork dish w orange and star anise!!
Friendliest and most organized, efficient service. From the host to the expediters, it was as though they were all members of the same family, genuinely wanting happy customers. Felt great.
The place came highly recommended, as I am a lover of Greek kitchen. I was excited for this meal, as it had been ages since I’d been to a good, Greek place.
The food, though, was a let down. As I gleefully dug in to each dish...
The taramosalata was intensely salty, and the pita was more pita chip than pita bread; zucchini fritters were excellent, as was the Greek salad... the octopus, though, was virtually tasteless and incompletely cooked (and personally, I’d prefer to cut my own octopus, rather than have it pre-sliced for me; it stays hotter IMHO. But that’s a matter of style, really.).
But the braised ribs tasted more like roast beef. And the snapper - after being decimated by the boning technique of the (very sweet) expeditor - was dry and mealy. I don’t know whether that was about freshness or over-cooking; but it was such a disappointment at $40 (or any price), that I didn’t eat it. (And wasn’t charged, btw.)
I hate rejecting or sending back food. I hate it. That being said, the waiter was cool...even going so far as to chat about what may have caused the fish to turn out that way.
Great atmosphere and clearly a popular place. I could just have hit it on a bad night. Were I local, I might give it another try...
