Oliver’s on Christmas night has been our tradition the last five years. The food, drinks and service are always exceptional. We will be back next Christmas...and a few times before.

Second year at Oliver's to celebrate Christmas. Staff, food, ambience...was exceptional. I was a solo diner and staff made sure that I comfortable. Had filet mignon, seasonal vegetables and mashed potatoes. The potatoes reminded me of my German grandmother's. My compliments to the chef

As always, Oliver’s and Chef Ross delivered. Wife and I were seated promptly and service by bus staff and server was timely yet unobtrusive. Staff is very experienced and it shows. Small plate of “48 hour pork belly” with mushroom porridge, peas, satsuma mandarin, and soft poached egg was absolutely delicious (notwithstanding very rich). Very different, but terrific. Wife’s prime strip steak was as expected - perfect.
My main (“Snake River Farm Bavette Steak” - a flank cut) was a gamble with an unusual mix of meat, vegetables, and seasoning. A huckleberry gastrique (sugar-vinegar reduction) was drizzled on charred raddichio, accompanied by slow cooked confit potato, glazed onion, beautiful green romanesco - with a subtle sprinkling of Egyption dukkah (ground nut and spice mixture). The flank steak was perfectly cooked and very tender. Very well seasoned also. Dessert was s granny smith apple composition with vanilla ice cream
Altogether, a great and unique meal.

Beautifully decorated for the Holidays, along with all that work there looking sharp, smiley and precise.
Louie and Carl behind the bar, mixing up the finest cocktails, and sharing funny stories, is a great way to start the evening.
David the owner, circulates, greeting patrons, and making sure that every course is perfect. And it was!
We unfortunately had no room left for dessert tonight, but not to worry, we are coming back soon for another evening in one of Buffalo’s finest establishment!

I took my mother to Oliver's for Thanksgiving dinner, which is becoming our new tradition. The food was fantastic and the service was excellent - thank you Rob and team! We started with the spinach loaf, a guilty pleasure that is large enough that half goes home as leftovers. I enjoyed the turkey dinner and Mom had the scallops, which had a spicy kick to them. To top it all off we were seated near the bar and got to see the end of the Bills game and enjoy their victory over the Cowboys. We had a great time!

The rib eyes were very tender. Didn’t care too much for the aldente veggies. The server, Fred, was excellent. Friendly, funny yet very professional. My drink, the sweater weather or warm sweater (says my fiancé) was absolutely delicious. We will go again for special occasions.

Our meal was fantastic. A quintessential restaurant with a fresh, new age spin on a classic menu. The decadence of egg was such a unique flavor experience. Dessert was incredible as well - loved the choco taco! Our service was top notch. Chef Ross is creating flavorful dishes and a wonderful experience.
Oliver’s is upscale dining at its finest. They provide complementary valet parking which makes date night much easier when my wife is wearing heels and walking through a parking lot is something she’s not fond of. I requested and received one of the curved booths in the bar area as we find them to be more intimate and romantic. We started our meal with Decadence of Egg. This is an appetizer served in the egg shell topped with a warm potato foam that has the yoke turned into a custard mixed with prosciutto underneath. It’s small but packed with flavor. Next we split an Oliver’s salad. This is a flavorful salad with small shrimps, olives, blue cheese, soppressata and artichoke hearts. The kitchen was kind enough to actually split this salad that we shared. My wife chose the poached lobster that was served on a bed of farro and I chose the salmon that was also served on a bed of farro. Both were delicious and perfectly prepared. The evening was finished with a dessert that proved to be quite a surprise, Almond Milk Rice Pudding. Neither of us expected it to be so rich and flavorful. Almond milk was the last thing on our minds. It was garnished with brûléed fruit and curry granola. The brûléed fruit itself would make an exquisite dessert in a larger quantity. The staff at Oliver’s is highly trained, friendly and polite.

Our waiter had such a great personality, the live jazz was smooth and created a great atmosphere but you could still hold and hear a conversation. Food is always excellent, loved the creativity of both the wagyu corn dog appetizers and delicious sorbet and gelato flavors! Our booth for two, near the bar was romantic and very comfortable. All of these things combined made our special occasion well celebrated. Truly the best restaurant in Buffalo.
Oliver's was great! My guests are vegan and they had no difficulty finding choices that met their needs...and that were by their comments, delicious. The three piece jazz band was wonderful, the vibe very retro chic. My dinner was as good. Terrific wine selection. Loved it and will return!
We went to Oliver's after hearing so many Buffalo folks tell us how great it was. We ordered appetizers salad. I had the oysters which were excellent. Everyone enjoyed their appetizers. The wagu beef corn dog was well received and creative. I ordered the poached lobster which was delicious, everyone else had the filet which was cooked perfectly. We will definitively return!

Menu item where 2 guests waited approximately 5 minutes to be served, however the staff handled it well by bringing them a small appetizer so everyone had sometime to eat and the rest of the guests didn’t feel the pressure to wait.
In a world where “glitz” is confused with quality, Oliver’s stands alone! Perfect service, incredible food and an environment that is second to none. The only true 4 Star restaurant in Buffalo.

Had an excellent experience Wednesday evening. Everything. Our servers ( waiter and attendant), food, even the valet! At one point, I left the table to use the restroom. When I returned, our server had refolded my napkin! My husband had an appetizer of scallops crudo (raw) that were outstanding. All the food was of very high quality but the scallops were the inock-out.
I appreciate the absence of televisions in the dining area. Also, the fact that the owner stopped by our table to see if everything was to our liking.
We left feeling satisfied and happy only to experience MORE attentive treatment from Lisa, our valet. Thank you to all!
