Really amazing food, awesome environment, and a great time overall. Highly recommend.
The ambience was very nice and the staff was very friendly and professional. The pasta itself was fine, tasted like pasta. Probably not worth $30 but the overall experience was very nice. Overall, I would recommend and possibly return!
Service was incredible! Food was delicious, a little small for the price but very good. Our waiter was attentive and kind. The ambiance is unbeatable!
It was very enjoyable in a relaxing environment. Loved it!
Food was very good, could do without the pretentious and expensive cocktails, service started out good, but unfortunately our table had a shift change, and we fell through the cracks a bit. Would go back just for the food!
Food so good, ambiance very nice, it was perfect for a brunch
Really good food -- I tried the pesto, which was very fresh. Plus, amazing ambience for outdoor seating! Perfect mix of energetic and scenic (with plants and picturesque seating, etc.).
Food was, and always is, phenomenal. Review is more based on the fact that diners are squished into teeny tiny tables, right up against neighbors on both sides, with a plastic partition in between. There is absolutely no space to walk in between tables. You feel like you're eating at a long farmhouse table with other families - which will likely make some people uncomfortable throughout pandemic. For the exclusivity of the restaurant, and how hard it is to get a reservation, and how much you pay - you want to have a good experience (not just good food).
For outdoor dining, the tables are space SO CLOSE TOGETHER. I understand restaurants need to get as many diners as possible to survive but this definitely felt like a COVID safety hazard and was a bit claustrophobic. They also don't wipe the dividers down between diners.
Great food, drinks and staff!
Very Lively spot, space is a bit cramped but hey it's Covid. The food is exceptional.
Great location ambiance meal and service. One of my favorite west village places to eat.
Amazing food and service! Suzanna provided great food and wine recommendations. We got seated right at our reserved time despite it being a busy Friday night. It was overall a great dining experience
Excellent pasta dishes, efficient service. A keeper.
The food was excellent! Octopus was tender, bit on salty side but it was great with drinks. Seabass was actually Branzino, and they say it's the same thing but in America, it's not the same thing.. anyway it was goo. Most fav was carbonara! Can't quite explain but it's so good. Just heavenly. I loved starting with nice cilled perfect Martini, then ok selection of wines(not many rose choices). Staff was nice and efficient too. Ate a lot, including black truffle pasta, and it came out to like $120-$140 per person which I think is value!!
For the whole restaurant, I believe there was only one server, that obviously was not able to handle all of her tables. Server took appetizer/drink order and then literally never came back, not necessarily her fault, but more of management/s, as there should have been more servers.
Delicious food and wonderful service! Plenty of outdoor seating, too!
It was a fabulous experience from beginning to end. It is now my favorite weekend spot.
Kitchen was slow in giving our food, but table that sat after us got theirs first. Didn’t give food until I addressed issue meaning it was not run to the table or they made a mistake.
Very good and creative corona virus experience
Food was delicious
Excellent food with attentive service. They’ve done a good job separating tables. Pasta carbonara is a favorite
Great food & service in the the Al fresco tradition.
Very nice experience. They've done a great job with outdoor seating during these Covid times. Food was very good as was the service. I'd definitely go back.
Delicious food, accommodating management, good service. Will definitely go again. Highly recommend.
The friends I went with looked
Our waitress was fantastic, and each bite of food was the best we had throughout NYC last week. LOVED IT!
It was fine. Pizza good but Cesar salad was meh
One of my favorite restaurants in west village! Professional service and fair prices. Love it
Amazing food and service!
A very nice outdoor dining experience in NYC during the COVID crisis.
Staff was friendly and attentive. My friend is a vegan and does not drink and they accommodated him nicely. Food was hot, delicious and fresh. They are careful about social distancing and cleanliness. Prices are high but if you can afford it, it is well worth it. Nice for special
Great food and service!
The food is consistently excellent, service is great.
Really enjoyed the food. Service was great. Would definitely come back and recommend to others.
Very cute outdoor dining setup. Tables are a bit too close to each other. Food was great. We ordered the Vongole, and Bianche prosciutto pizza with ricotta cheese. Vongole was a bit salty but fresh pasta made it great. Service was great too. Would go back for a casual lunch
I had a reservation for the 9:30 slot, but from the beginning, I felt that they were about to close. I understand that due to the COVID situation restaurant are allowed to be open until 11:00 pm, but the staff started taking away the tables and the chairs (and everything!) around 10:15. From that moment I felt that I needed to eat fast and just go. There were glass separations between each table, and they took away ours while we were still eating. The staff was telling us that they were very sorry, but I think they should make the last reservation for 9:00 pm instead of 9:30 pm so the clients dont need to be rushing while eating. I was super disappointed because the food was really good, but I didnt enjoy it at all due to all this situation.
Great food and atmosphere!
This was one of the best dining experiences I've had in NYC, let alone during COVID. The staff was SO attentive, we didn't want for anything. The GM did two touch ups to make sure we were enjoying our meal. Our reservation was exactly on time. The food was incredible, fresh, and good value. AND they were packed on a Friday night! I can't say enough about how much I enjoyed this meal.
Olio e Piu never disappoints. Their outdoor setup is fantastic, on a wide open intersection with nice neighborhood views, and the service is great, and the food is always excellent.
I will be back.
We ordered three popular dishes, octopus, spaghetti chitarra alla carbonara, and Caprese. They were all delicious.
BTW, the outdoor seating is good for taking photos.
