Tasting menu and wine pairing was phenomenal !!
Great value and such a treat to try everything we wanted to try on the menu
The food at Olea was impeccable! My partner had the Cornish hen and I had the duck. Amazing flavors in both the meat and the vegetables and such an original way to prepare beets and peaches! My kiwi soda was amazingly fresh and the service was great. Would definitely recommend! The food leaves you satisfied, not stuffed!
Birthday. Terrific as always. Gjc
Wonderful experience. Sat outside. Great service. Great food. Really followed COVID safety protocols so we felt very safe and had a terrific experience.
The food is excellent, friendly staff, innovative dishes, beautiful plating and most of all, delicious and memorable. There is so much flavor in all the dishes we tried. Olea is never disappointing. Our meal was superb! One of our favorite restaurants.
I took my girlfriend out for our first indoor restaurant dinner in months here. It was excellent!! Everything that hit the table was exceptional. It was a great dinner and Tb it was really nice to have an almost empty room for it.
Thank you to Raul and the whole staff at Olea for a phenomenal dining experience! From the drinks to the dessert we enjoyed every second of our dinner here. We wanted to try so many things but we started off with the charcutería and beef croquettes. WOW. While sipping our cocktails we enjoyed the music, and our bread with oil. Our dinner came and my husband enjoyed the mushrooms with fettuccine and I, the beef cheek. Never had I enjoyed such a tender piece of beef. Alongside came a parsnip purée, cauliflower and mini potato chips. We ended our meal with the chocolate textures dessert. You name the texture, it was there! We left feeling satisfied and so happy we decided to come here. We enjoyed some complimentary items from the chef and pastry chef as well. We were the last ones to leave but there was no rushing us ever. Please, if you're in New Haven, try Olea. We will be back!
Exceptional food and service despite Covid restrictions.
Amazing Spanish restaurant. Service was attentive, drinks were great, and the Chef made paella specially for us. Couldn’t be happier.
So happy they are open again and we can enjoy their outstanding food in an outdoor setting.
as always, great food exceeded by the wonderful service.
Above all great service from the moment we walked through the door until we left. This has always been consistent each time we’ve dined here. Food is also exceptional
What a nice dining experience. Again! Food was delicious. Service attentive. Vibrant. Can't wait to go back.
Sublime! Absolutely outstanding in every way! Thank you for a memorable evening! We will be back.
As always, the service was outstanding and the food exceptional.
Wonderful food , fabulous service. Five star as ALWAYS
Food and service were outstanding
Absolutely loved everything. Complements to the kitchen staff. Can’t wait to go back. I must if you are in new haven county.
We had a marvelous meal, beautifully executed and graciously served. I would recommend Olea as a genial restaurant in which creative food is served without prétention. I would return for certain
Food was delicious
Best restaurant in Connecticut and enormously popular in New Haven
Always excellent! Great for work meetings as well
Nothing less than outstanding on a very busy night.
The Valentine's Day experience was fantastic! The food was some of the best food we have ever eaten and we are looking forward to a return trip. The service was also excellent!
Even on a busy night like Valentines day, Olea makes dining out a pleasure. The food is delightful, as usual, and service is excellent despite the the large number of tables for 2. Cocktails always amazing, the special menu had enough choices to please everyone, and servers were attentive. Special touches like red roses on each table and the assortment of desserts to share made the night memorable.
Always a wonderful experience
Always a great meal.
We would happily return to Olea. We ordered from the prix-fixe dinner menu, and while we would have liked a couple of additional options, the food was delicious and well-presented and the servings ample. The restaurant was attractive and busy. Our only real complaint was that although we had a 5:45 reservation to assure we had time to walk to our concert at 7:30 and arrived on time, our main course did not arrive until 7:00 PM meaning we had to wolf it and dessert down and run. Our server seemed a bit overwhelmed, so we would recommend some attention to pacing/staffing.
We had a great experience at Olea this past weekend. It was a birthday dinner for my wife so I wanted it to be special. Our server, who was terrific throughout the evening, acknowledged my wife's birthday and even brought us a special small treat with dessert. He also made great dinner recommendations and brought me a tasty non-alcoholic drink.
Superb food, superb service....somewhat loud but very enjoyable. Excellent wine list wih reasonable prices; staff happy to recommend.
We loved the three course seasonal dinner. Every course was delicious and just the right size. I would definitely go back!
A wonderful menu focused on Spanish food with an accompanying wine list. Service was wonderful and don't skip dessert.
Fabulous food- excellent service
The food was absolutely first rate. We had the octopus appetizer and it was the most tender I ever had. The Jamon Iberico was cross cut from the shank, gave it a different texture and more flavor. The bacalao was fresh instead of what we thought going to be dry salted, but was very fresh and delicious. The boneless suckling pig was another new twist, with the meat chopped and rolled into the cylindrical piece and f crispy skin. The sauce was a perfect accompaniment, not more, not less.
The service couldn’t be more attentive and friendly, making a perfect anniversary dinner.
We did the chefs tasting menu and every course was delicious and beautifully presented. We cleaned every plate! Service was on top of everything and very helpful when we asked for recommendations. Best meal we had in New Haven.
Food and service was outstanding, but you will pay for it!
Great food and amazing service. A New Haven favorite among many excellent restaurants.
Wonderful inventive food, attentive service, comfortable business casual atmosphere however VERY noisey and difficult to have conversation. Our favorite restaurant in New Haven - highly recommend! (Just wish the management would add more sound proofing!)
Very happy with the quality of food and service
Wonderful experience. Lots of good choices on the menu as well as the special. Charcuterie was delicious as was the Bronzino. Very nice setting and attentive service.
Great service, food and atmosphere! Highly recommend the deserts.
