My wife and I ate here for Valentine's Day. We've been here before, but it's been a while. We were very pleased. The ambiance was fantastic. The food was excellent and the service was good as well. Overall a great dinner. We'll be back!

Service was excellent. Restaurant was beautiful and clean. The food was good but wasn’t crazy about the steak. No char and it lacked flavor. All our remaining dishes were good.

The fried plantains were excellent and the yucca bread for appetizers was outstanding! We ordered the meat paella was amazing! The only thing we didn’t care for was the churros they were burnt. Plus we would have liked a vanilla sauce to choose from.

Staff is always super pleasant and willing to give suggestions. Get the Tres Leche! Thank me later.

Hands down the best restaurant we’ve ever been too. The owner was nothing short of incredible, the atmosphere was so authentic and the food was AMAZING. I 10/10 recommend. Go and try out this place. I promise you won’t be disappointed

Ole Tapas is top notch excellent quality dining. It’s great for everyday dining as well as special occasions. Manuel and his family know how to run a restaurant. Food and service are consistently fabulous. There’s such a variety on the menu.

Ole' is quickly becoming one of our favorite restaurants in Newark. It is a Friday Date night special for us. Juan is an excellent server. The tapas are both traditional and unique in nature. The value is exceptionally reasonable. It has all of the ambience, hospitality, and tastiness we look for when we want to enjoy a delicious meal and time with one another. We're gonna be regulars and happy to establish una amistad with the Ole' Team.

The paella was out of this world! The sangria was delicious! And the staff was very attentive and helpful with ordering.

The food is good and the service is friendly. They know what to recommend if you are having some trouble deciding on food or wine.

We had six plates for two people, a mixture of our favorites and 2 specials. The prep and balance of the spices were just not what we have come to love at Ole Tapas-pretty bland overall. I think our mistake was coming on all you can eat paella night and not ordering paella. That was combined with a huge party in the rear of the restaurant. The kitchen seemed overtaxed.

Superb! The tapas, paella, and sangria were all delicious and brought back great memories of our trip to Spain last year. The staff is super nice and attentive. I will definitely come here several times and bring lots of friends too.

Easily some of the best food we've had in a long time, and best Tapas BY FAR. Everything was amazing, but the bacon wrapped scallops were in a world of their own. Still we got 6 platters and all were incredible, will go again.

The food was good, not amazingly delicious but just good. For the price, the food should have been better The wait staff were kind and were working hard. But the restaurant did not seem prepared for a crowded Valentine’s Day evening. My roasted potatoes arrived cold. I asked the waitress if I could get a small plate of warm potatoes and she didn’t think that the kitchen could handle my request. She asked but they couldn’t do it. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend the restaurant nor do I want to go back.

Too crowded, food brought to wrong table multiple times, the tables were so close together that I could barely move. Also there was a severe lack of parking and all the spots that remained open had tow warnings. Was expecting to have a romantic Valentine’s Day here but overall was just a horrid experience. As for the menu/food. Would have rathered not share a menu either. As well, the descriptions for the food weren’t fully complete and I am allergic to mushrooms, ordered a chicken dish and mushrooms were in it which was not in the description. Lastly the taste was mediocre at best. Would not recommend.

We decided to try the Ole Tapas Lounge & Restaurant to celebrate our anniversary. The menu was limited and expensive. The food was good, but not necessarily worth the money. Service was fair. This could have been an off day. This was before COVID.

It was PACKED! While the food was ok - the service was slow and challenging. We ordered tapas to hold us the 45 min while the paella cooked - but the tapas was so late we had to cancel at least 3 dishes since the paella came out first (still over45 minutes ). Our waiter was nice but had too many tables. The Flamenco dancing was scheduled for the 2nd Sat of the month but for some reason they had it on the first Saturday (when we went) which was not fun as we could barely hear ourselves think much less talk. They did move our table but it was still bad. What was upsetting was that we made a reservation at least a week in advance and they gave us an awful table - you would think that as an Open Table VIP with a reservation(that was confirmed the day before) that a good table would have been reserved. Very disappointing.

Ole Tapas Lounge was a wonderful find!! All of the reviews we read turned out to be accurate! The food was amazing -- tip: bring friends to share with! We had a great waiter -- Fernando! We will definitely be back!!

Paella is very large. Could definitely feed 4 adults. Would return again when in Wilmington area.

We were so pleasantly surprised to find Ole Tapas last weekend! We've driven by many times, but never stopped in. It's now in our Top 5 restaurants in the area! Everything was delicious. We will certainly be back!

Excellent food and service. Always love coming here. Noise was louder than usual due to the flamenco dancers, but performance was worth it.
