Every time we travel through Indy we try to eat at Oakley's. They are closed Sunday and Monday's and seems as those are the days we are passing through . Last night was different...Sat at the bar and had a fabulous meal . One of our best eating out experiences in a long time. This is indeed a treasure . Unbelievable friendly service and Head chef Steve Oakley is always in the kitchen creating masterpieces . A 10 plus for the whole experience. Sharon and Don Hansen.

Always love Oakleys, but they were off their game Saturday night. Waiter said they were short staffed. Still, service was decent. Food was not worth the money this night. Short ribs were dry and salty and meatloaf tasted left over. Appetizers were good though. Definitely not worthy $250 for 3 people.

Good and service was amazing. This place never disappoints us. I got the short ribs and hubby got the duck. Incredibly delicious. Our younger kids came with with us this time and they enjoyed their meals as well. It’s always a boon to the parents when a nice restaurant that is on the higher end has something delicious/affordable for the kids. It makes it easier for parents like us to bring our kids with us. My kids loved it and asked to come back. We will definitely be back!

There was a large party of about 12 people celebrating a special event, but they were in the front & we were near the back, so it did not affect us much. It could have been quite a distraction, but we received the same excellent service & food as always. They were able to host a large, vivacious group without compromising the experience of others. The staff did a great job.

Everything was wonderful. The luncheon was for my friend’s birthday and she loved it. I think our favorite part was our waiter Paul. He was a blast and such good service!

Used to live in town and this was one of our favorites. They did not disappoint. The wild mushroom paella was a great blend of flavors. My husband loved the daily special, beef tips.

Wanted to show a professional colleague a unique, top notch Indy restaurant. Chose Oakley’s and not disappointed. The Beat Bobby Flay corn dog was a great start, whet his appetite for more. Butternut squash maple soup was great follow up, and Stanley’s meatloaf Vince’s the deal. He was VERY impressed.

One of our favorite spots but disappointed with our waiter. After ordering seven appetizers as a prelude to dinner and waiting 45 minutes, Waiter advised us he did not put in appetizer order until all food is ordered! Said this is normal procedure at Oakeys, which we had never experienced in the past. Our meal thus took 3 hours!

We love this place because the food is always interesting and different and delicious. After dozens of visits we’ve never had less than an amazing dining experience. Great portion sizes too so you don’t leave uncomfortably stuffed.

My family dined here to celebrate my birthday. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food and drinks. The service was very good too. They even had a kids menu with food my grandsons enjoy. We always enjoy dining at Oakley’s.

When we arrived the hostess was going to seat us in the back corner next to a bigger party and I inquired about getting seated elsewhere since there were several open tables. She was extremely rude, glared at me and reluctantly moved us to a different table. It was an unpleasant way to start the evening. But our waiter was fantastic, gave us some recommendations and our meal was outstanding. We started out with the prime rib dumplings, I had the salmon and my husband had the meatloaf. We finished it off with the whiskey cake . That was rather small and nothing special compared to the rest of our meal . We had not been to this restaurant in years. We will definitely be back and hope for a friendlier welcome next time !

The restaurant was a small setting with an elegant ambiance. This is a wonderful place for date night. The service was excellent and the food was phenomenal. My husband had trout with a side of risotto. It was excellent as was my meatloaf and sides of potato purée and broccoli which was perfectly cooked. We had the Brussel sprouts as an appetizer. OMG! Delicious!!!!! The ladies walking out ahead of us told us to get the Brussel sprouts next time we came here and we said we got them this time. We all said they were the best we had ever had! Highly recommend this restaurant.

Great Food and Service! I took my grandfather here last week and we had the famous shrimp corn dog, Buffalo Cauliflower, Lavash/cheese (apps) , Beef Short Ribs (entree) Sorbet assortment and Dan's Chocolate Bar (desserts). Everything was brought out very fast considering their dining room was pretty full for dinner. Our server was very educated about the menu and suggested everything we ordered. We enjoyed everything about the whole experience. 10/10 would recommend to anyone that is into trying fun, beautiful and delicious food. We did not try any of the fun cocktails but will definitely be coming back!

Started with the bacon wrapped apricots. They were absolutely delicious. I had the meatloaf and my wife had the salmon. Both dishes were excellent. We finished the evening with chocolate cake and the expresso martini. All was very good. Our server was knowledgeable and efficient. Great evening
