I do not understand why people are so hard on their reviews for this place. It is a Cantonese Chinese restaurant like the one I grew up with in the Bronx on Westchester Ave. called Kam Fong if my memory is good. For years now, we have looked for a decent sit-down place that wasn't fusion, pan-Asian or sushi. We wanted what we grew up on. We arrived at about 5:30pm on a Sunday night and there was plenty of spaces in the parking lot. After 6pm it started to fill up. The menu was what I expected and they do have combination plates. The waiters bring a bowl of cabbage that we liked and the crispy noodles which were fresh. I ordered the sesame chicken combo which comes with a huge egg roll, fried rice and dessert. My wife had the pork with vegetables combo and out friend had the shrimp and lobster sauce combo. The one complaint was that like all other restaurants, the sauce is not thick, but a bit runny.I seem to remember that many years back the sauce was thicker. Sherbert and ice cream were our desserts. We will go back and try other dishes. The prices on all dishes was very reasonable. MoreOpenTable Diner -
This is by far our favorite Mediterranian restaurant. The food is consistently delicious! The service is great. The ambiance in Huntington is great. They also have locations in Roslyn and in NYC. Everything tastes super fresh and mouth savoring. The word has gotten out about this gem and it's not as easy to get a table, but we manage to get one. Dinners are superb, lunch a great value as well. Portions are huge. Yummy! MoreOpenTable Diner -
