First time there! We loved it! The atmosphere is really nice and calm. It's perfect to spend a nice dinner with your S.O. or your friends. The food was well presented and very tasty we had burrata and rabbit as starters and then beef and pork as main! 😋Dessert was delicious! the staff is amazing, they are very professional and friendly! Recommended! We look forward to coming back!
First time at No 16. Food was lovely. Very fresh and a nice combination of flavours. Recommend Goats cheese starter.
Staff were very nice. Wouldn’t hesitate to return.
Great food and service, as always! Lamb dish was a highlight.
Fantastic food and exemplary service. Wine list exceptional and a interesting variety of main meal to choose from. Wish we had time to visit again.
First class in every respect as always. Good food, good ambience and excellent service. I have been coming here for 11 years and hopeto do so for years to come. My favourite Glasgow restaurant, second to none.
Lovely lunch to celebrate a birthday. We all enjoyed the food very much and the staff were so helpful especially for one of our party who has some special dietary requirements. Would highly recommend Number 16 as a great Glasgow venue.
Excellent food and friendly service. Just a really relaxed and pleasant experience all round.
The food and the one are special but it is the staff that truely make this an amazing experience.
We are extremely grateful to them for making it such a wonderful night
Excellent lunch. Variety, quality, service and value-for-money
My partner and I had a meal here on our first night arriving in Glasgow. We had some really unique food, things we wouldn't usually eat. It was amazing quality and the staff were really friendly. Would highly recommend for anyone to try this restaurant. A hidden gem is what I would call it!
Amazing food, friendly helpful staff, fantastic restaurant, hope to go back.
very great，and the food is delicious. I love this place
Wonderful meal ( I recommend the lamb) and service with wine list to cater to all tastes. Thank you
Portions were incredibly small but that was a blessing when the food was horrible.
Starter - soup. Garlic oil had been poured all over it. It was all I could taste.
Main - chicken supreme. Was in fact a boiled chicken ballontine. If the menu had described this dish properly, I would not have ordered it.
Pudding - crepes. In fact, this was slivers of artic roll - it was nice in the 1990s and it’s not improved with time.
Coffee - Menu said it was served with homemade chocolates. Again, the menu was incorrect.
Used to love No.16 but if it’s gone downhill. Won’t be returning.
Absolutely loved our meal at Number 16. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was outstanding. Loved the intimate nature of the restaurant. We got to sit in the upstairs and were able to look down and watch some of the action in the kitchen which was a lot of fun. Everything we had tasted fresh and the value for what you were getting was well matched.
Excellent food and lovely service, First visit but we will definitely be returning.
Great place and lovely people, excellent food, I recommend +++
As usual food and service was excellent a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere would have no hesitation in recommending this taste menu.
No 16 consistently provide excellent food, well prepared and presented. New menu has great flavour combinations and portion size is spot on for lunch.
Staff are knowledgeable, friendly and efficient
Will definitely go back
Fantastic food. Great service. Will be back for sure
The Chef at N. 16 has a real flair for combining flavours to make modern versions of traditional Scottish food that taste amazing. The serving team were attentive and friendly. My wife and I had an excellent lunch. Highly recommended.
This was overall a good experience, venue service and food presentation were excellent. However; poor selection for vegetarians with only one option , my friends loved their meat and fish options.
The service could not be faulted with lovely attentive staff who went above and beyond to accommodate. Service from the kitchen was a quite slow which left no time for dessert , the complimentary coffee and bithday chocolates was a lovely touch.
All very good.
Great food. Appropriate prices. Good cozy atmosphere.
This is a small restaurant with a small range of thoughtfully crafted meal options with less usual accompaniments. Service from our waitress was friendly, efficient and helpful. Whilst the space is small it is cleverly laid out and doesn't feel too overcrowded. The set menu is very good value.
Not our first visit but super food, lovely cozy atmosphere and very attentive staff as always.
A great wee restaurant in the Westend. We’ll be back again and again 😊
the appearance was so and so, but service outstanding and great food
As always No16 nailed it in every department, food was stunning, roast red pepper puree with the hake was sublime. Service attentive without being overbearing, value for money of the set lunch menu hard to beat. Will be back soon.
Beautifully cooked food and excellent service. Would definitely recommend.
haven't been to No 16 for some time. Food still excellent both in terms of product quality and cooking, staff as usual welcoming helpful and casual. Lovely evening
Interesting choices though slightly limited for vegan options. Excellent service and wonderful wine list.
It would be good if they could offer draught beer or more bottled choices. I wasn’t terribly keen on the meat/steak cut and also felt that the starters were overpriced.
Service was ok without being terribly friendly - however, restaurant was quite busy so maybe that was why.
We would still give it another shot, however.
Great choice of food and wine accompanied with great service made this a special occasion - will be back.
We felt that the mains had too much effort. Separate tastes were really good but as a whole it was either heavy or ruining the overall final aftertaste.
Lovely welcome, interesting menu, that changes often, I took points off because I really didnt like the very bloody pigeon , but everything else was excellent.
Small, cozy place, excellent food. We recommend this place.
We were Americans traveling around England and Scotland. I had made reservations in advance based on reading some reviews. I'm so glad we did: the food was creative and really good, the service was very friendly, and it was a fun experience. It is a tiny little place so make reservations!
Wonderful food and service
A while since we've been, but very pleased that No16 remains in top form.
My wife's favourite restaurant. Always a lovely meal. Booked again for August
