Nobu Fifty Seven
Designed by David Rockwell, Nobu Fifty Seven evokes fluidity and the imagery of an Asian river with curves and details of abalone shell chandeliers, sliced bamboo stalks in terrazzo tiles, scorched ash tables and Japanese quilt fabric. Sake barrels imported from Japan tower over the first floor bar counter as diners make way to the upstairs dining room. Burnished woods, rich hues and soft lighting create an ambiance of elegance and refinement.

Even this restaurante does not have the same level than years ago or others Nobu, no doubt it does ok to know it.
So amazing & perfect in every way!! What more is there to say?
It was a wonderful experience. In terms of seafood everything was fresh and of the utmost quality. I had the chef's signature tasting menu, and it was overall very good, with only one or two dishes being average or sub par. The ambiance is amazing and the service was quite good as well. Overall a great experience.
The waiter was excellent. Delicious sushi and champagne as always
Super fun experience, had the signature Omakase with drinks pairing. My wife and I both enjoyed it immensely and look forward to trying their premium Omakase next time!
Going to Nobu is always a real treat, & NY’s Nobu didn’t disappoint! The service, cocktails & cuisine were great. We esp enjoyed the sashimi salad & the yellow tail w/jalapeño...
Great food pretty attentive service but surprisingly noisy for a Monday night. Would return in a heartbeat
The food is always great at Nobu. Highly recommend the sushi and the wagyu dumplings.
Beautiful restaurant, great ambiance for a romantic evening meal. Service was good, but not as good as I would have hoped for such an expensive meal. We waited quite a while to order, and our waiter only returned when we had another course coming. I was hoping to order a second drink but never really got a chance. We got the Fifty Seven omakase, and every single dish was stunningly delicious. Nobu really excels at flavor! The one drink I did have (their award-winning cocktail) was amazing! I'd recommend Nobu for anyone looking for an excellent meal.
Excellent dinner. Enjoyed everything our waiter suggested. Waiter and support staff were top notch!
Nobu has always been overpriced in my opinion, but this last experience was very disappointing. The sushi could have been from a cheap buffet style restaurant. I don’t feel like I’m exaggerating when I say that either. I’ve been spoiled by great sushi experiences over several years and Nobu costs as much as any high level, high quality sushi restaurant and fails badly in the quality department.
Our waiter was not up to the usual Nobu standard
Big thumbs up! Keeping it real
Juste le plaisir de manger un bon japonais avec ma fille
Excellent food. Expensive.
Really good... worth the money
Food was average I was expecting excellent and v expensive!!!
Food was excellent.. Also the service was excellent.. Thank you really enjoyed the expr
Nobu 57 is our favourite restaurant in New York. Every dish is amazing. It is extremely expensive so save it for a treat when you want to splurge.
Great service and food
It was my mother’s birthday so I wanted to take her somewhere she would enjoy and never forget. I’ve been to Nobu several times but it was the first for her. She loved everything about it!!! The setting, food, and the waitstaff. I am so happy she enjoyed everything. I can’t wait to go back!!
Fantastic food - little loud - great ambiance and service
There is absolutely nothing that compares to Nobu!
Food is fresh and delicious. Service is exceptional. Can’t wait to return!
Fabulous in every sense!!!! Highly recommend!
Expensive ? Yes . Perfection ? Indeed . Best ever !!!!!
Outstanding in every way, except it was very, very noisy.
Our annual trip to NYC always includes a visit to Nobu 57/Nobu. Once again not disappointed. Melt in your mouth Rock shrimp, lobster tempura. And great service! Cheers until next year.
Our waiter disappeared often. We had to ask other wait staff for refills and utensils. The first three things we ordered off the menu were “unavailable” as per the waiter. They didn’t offer other things, when asking what they suggested the answer was “I don’t know everything is good”. No assistance what so ever.
We dine at other Nobu locations often and have not received this treatment. Perhaps because we were young adults, we were not taken seriously and they assumed our money was not green enough. My date for the evening, is a YouTube star that grossed just short of a million dollars last year, she’s also a former Disney channel actress. She intends to share her experience online with video and photo footage. You should also know we were celebrating our 5 year anniversary. It was a terrible way to end the evening.
The food and service were A+. The music was techno pop and not relaxing at all. I just tuned it out but it bothered one of the guests at my table. Fabulous restaurant. I highly recommend it.
I would’ve given it higher marks for ambiance but they seated us by the bus station. Nonetheless a great evening with great food and very pleasant and helpful waiter.
Great food and service, poor ambiance and noisy, but overall a great evening
The tasting menu was well worth the price, left very full. Dessert was incredible and each course was unique, interesting, and delicious. 4 cold dishes and 2 hot ones. Service was great and each dish was explained.
Second time we have dined at Nobu. First time was as a group. Second time was just my wife and myself. Both experiences were amazing. The “now” offerings pair great with the standard offerings and they are uniformly outstanding and creative.
Carlo was the best. Thank you. Amazing food as always
Very slow mixed up service. I was disappointed. I have been there many times
The size ice cream was pathetic for $15.00
