Candy was our server, and was fantastic. The food was amazing as always.
Amazing food and excellent service!
Great place for business lunches or just a personal dinner
We have been to Nick and Sam's PC several times before, but the food was particularly good this visit. We all ordered something different and every single dish and side were absolutely outstanding! Fillet was perfectly cooked and so glad we added the truffle butter. I had the Chilean sea bass, which was an unique dish with perfectly cooked fish. Our oldest had the meatball flatbread, which she loved. The little one had salmon and they were kind enough to put the sauce on the side and let her substitute mashed potatoes. Finally, the fries were amazing! They stayed perfectly crisp and had a great flavor.
Cocktail and wine list are quite good. We just had a bottle of wine this visit, which we enjoyed. Overall, great experience and we will be returning!
Delicious food. Excellent service. Great time.
Always love this restaurant! The service was exceptional and the food and cocktails were as good as they always were! This was my first dining experience since we shut down the city and I'm very grateful I held out for this awesome restaurant! All the staff had masks on, they did great with social distancing all the tables were spaced far apart. Couldn't have been more pleased with the entire evening!
We were celebrating two birthdays. We were seated at the Chef's Table. The meal was excellent. There was a super presentation at the end of our meal with (2) birthday cakes both lit with sparklers and also cotton candy was brought to the table for our celebrations. It was a great night for all of us. We had great service. It was so refreshing to be back inside a restaurant enjoying our family. The staff bent over backwards to accommodate our every wish.
We had a lovely unrushed quiet evening here to celebrate my birthday. The staff wore masks and were conscientious about making sure that everything was clean. They did this in an unobtrusive way so that we were all comfortable with the evening. Do not coming epecting their full, regular menu that I anticipated since I checked out their menu online before visiting but everything we had was excellent. Max was a fine waiter who made my birthday celebration special!
Service was great. Great Mother’s Day Brunch during COVID
Caveat- we went to enjoy Mother’s Day brunch right after restaurants were allowed to reopen, and I don’t think they expected the volume of guests they had. So while service was slow as it got busier, it was understandable and I cannot fault them for not overstaffing. The restaurant is beautiful and immaculately clean. The servers, hosts, and managers were diligent and attentive. The food was slightly disappointing, especially given the price. My mother ordered the red velvet pancakes. They were slightly burnt, the flavor and toppings were relatively bland, and she was disappointed. For the price, we expected it to be fantastic. My husband ordered a burger he said was OK but nothing to rave about. To be fair, he did order it with slight changes to how it was to be served. I had the wedge salad and it was wonderful. Fortunately, the special Mother’s Day dessert, white chocolate blueberry bread pudding, was so good we left on a high note. We will certainly give them another try to see if we feel there is better value the next time around, as I know that all restaurants are struggling to find the right balance of staff as things reopen.
It was our first in restaurant dining since the start of the pandemic We felt 100% safe and food was excellent as always. It was such a pleasure eating there again.
As always the Nick & Sam’s experience never fails! Food, service and attention to detail is always present.
Our first night out after quarantine and didn’t disappoint did a great job of adhering to new standards but didn’t make it feel weird food was excellent and service was too
Birthday dinner, food was amazing! The birthday ending was fantastic with the Cotton candy!!
The perfect setting for our special occasion. Wonderful menu and attentive service!
Waitstaff not clean. Food presentation and taste very mediocre. Felt like I was at Chili’s. Awful. Bad all the way around. Nothing redeeming at this place! Came for my son’s bday, but sadly disappointed!!
NIck & Sam's Grill is a great place for dinner in the Park Cities area. It has a beautiful interior with lots of space so that you aren't crammed next to strangers. You can have a normal conversation and be heard at your table and not overheard at the next. At a Nick & Sam's you just expect excellent food and service. You won't be disappointed at their grill in Park Cities.
Service was subpar. Ordered salads and they forgot. Hs our steaks ready to come to the table and then realized they forgot the salads so the placed our steaks under the lamp to keep them warm which resulted in mine being overcooked.
Orders coffee after dinner and that was also forgotten.
We come to Nick ‘n Sam’s for lunch because the food is excellent as well as the service. The ambience is pleasing and the noise level is conducive for good conversation .
Service ok. Waiter was absent at times and for price you charge for food & drink service needs to be excellent. Hillstone has excellent food & service and 20% less check.
Everything about our group dinner was excellent! We were seated at the Chef's table and it turned out to be one of the best restaurant experiences in Dallas for a private dinner.
This was such a great dining experience. Great service and the steak was cooked to perfection and delicious. I went to Del Frisco’s Grille a few nights before and it does not even compare! Nick & Sam’s for the win!
Food was fantastic....steaks cooked perfectly. Service from Keke was outstanding. First time there....we will be back!
This is a beautiful restaurant, and with the Nick & Sams moniker, I was hopeful. Unfortunately, the ambiance was all that was impressive. The service was average, the food was average, but the price tag was high. With so many other choices, I can't see coming back.
I never thought any of the dishes were really flavorful in a good way- my steak was quite charred on the outside, the brussel sprouts had a pretty strong taste of rubbing alcohol, the Cesar salad was mediocre, and the mashed potatoes were plain. I thought it was very lack-luster for such an expensive meal and was pretty disappointed overall.
I thought the place wa since. The servers were nice but slow. We had The crab cake as an appetizer which was good but the sweetcorn salsa that came with it was salty and over spiced . The sea bass was well portioned okay but not worth the price. The side dish portions we are ample for two persons. So although it was a pleasant meal I would give it an overall three.
Hands down on of the best restaurants my girlfriend and I have ever been to.. We will be back soon!!
Went for Valentines dinner and the whole experience was great.
Celebrated our 2nd anniversary. The manager, Creighton, was very thoughtful- he knew I didn’t drink and made us complimentary “mocktails” so that we could toast and bought our dessert!
Food is great! We had poor service on Valentines. Wanted a peaceful/romantic experience and felt like we were treated as if we were at a business dinner with a bunch of men who had already had three drinks apiece. Waitress was loud and unaware of date night!
The food was very good and the service was great. However, they seated a couple who carried in their dog next to us. The couple kept taking turns taking the dog outside walking next to our table. I suppose it could have been a service dog but I am not sure if it was for both people because it was in their laps equal amounts of time and in their arms in and out of the restaurant. I won't go back. At the least they should have seated them in a corner of the restaurant. The restaurant was far from full and there were other places to put them.
The food was below average. Steak came out rare when ordered medium, and the entrees were overall cold/not enjoyable. The appetizer egg rolls were the highlight of the meal.
The calimari and lobster sushi rolls were great. My filet mignon was cooked perfectly. Atmosphere was nice but pretty noisy. Overall good experience
If you’re looking for the quality of the original restaurant you will be disappointed.
Nick & Sam’s Park Cities has become one of our favorite restaurants. The Deviled Eggs are great for a starter to share and their Caesar salad is a must. They have an amazing steak that is half Wagu and and half Angus that is not to be missed - it literally melts in your mouth and a side of mushrooms goes perfectly. If you’re having a Birthday celebration, they bring out a giant lit cotton candy cone that is truly spectacular!!
Really nice lunch spot...not super loud or busy
Wonderful menu and the food is so fresh and delicious ! Great waiter !
Excellent service and the food was outstanding! Our server was very knowledgeable and attentive.
This place is excellent. It gets 4 only because it took 3 tries to get my steak right. Overcooked twice. But they were all over it. Manager not only made it right. But comped the entire meal for both of us. Food And Drinks.
Food quality is excellent. And the service was outstanding by Nicholas and Jamie. Ive eaten at the Nick & Sams restaurants numerous times. The experience is always great. This was an anomaly but it represents the experience I had on this night.
Ill definitely go back. The fact that they took ownership of the mistake then bent over backwards to fix it says alot about their process. We didn’t wont our meal comped. A dessert would have been appreciated, but I give the manager that evening 5 stars for his excellent service. He insisted on making it right and that is customer service 101.
Dinner with the boss. Had one of the special filet mignons and it was truly spectacular, especially with just a touch of hollandaise. Excellent grapefruit martini. Dining was very very loud though, partially because we were near the bar and patrons were particularly enjoying the happy hour.
