New Rebozo Oak Park
Food was amazing! Chef Paco is great!
This place more than lived up to its reputation. The food was phenomenal and the attention to detail with over the top. Chef Paco really made us feel at home.
Way to expensive for what you’re getting
The restaurant had a limited prix fix menu for Valentines Day. I probably wouldn’t have reserved at this restaurant had I known this beforehand but I was there and figure what the heck I never been to this restaurant and heard a lot of good stuff about the food. The limited menu was bland and boring. I don’t know if I want to return for the regular menu anytime soon. This restaurant’s was just okay
Excellent personalized service.
Heard about New Rebozo on the Food Network. Was not disappointed at all. The place was packed, as expected. The whole experience was fantastic. Delicious food and great service!
Amazing food as always!
I sat in the front of restaurant where there was a draft coming through the wall and had to keep my coat over my back. The price for 3 steak tacos with onions and cilantro (no rice and beans) is over priced considering I've had same type of tacos elsewhere with better taste and paid less than $10.
Great food but since it is so popular, waiting a peak times can be a problem. Hopefully they can expand next door and accommodate more patrons easier. Food is really good
Superb food. Best in Chicago area. Great margaritas
We loved it. Our second time there. I think the chef coming out to tell us the specials makes such a great impression. It shows he cares about all his patrons and that is very much appreciated. The service was fantastic and the food was fabulous. We will return soon.
Took the office there for our Christmas party. Chef Paco is such a gracious host and took the time to speak to everyone at the table and make it such a comfortable welcoming experience. The food was amazing as always. He invited us to come to cooking class which I can't wait to do. I have brought many friends, family and colleagues here over the years and it is ALWAYS a wonderful experience. It's like being at your favorite Uncles house for dinner.
Great food and passion from chef Paco. Oh my God! You feel like you're at a friends house for dinner.
Chef Paco never disappoints!
A wonderful restaurant with a very pleasant staff. The food was absolutely delicious. We will definitely be back SOON.
I was there once before, I thought it was good upscale food and great margaritas! But this past time was new year's eve and I thought was way over price for very small portions was almost over $200 +tip for 3 people 2 margaritas, was really not worth it!
Fantastic NYE four course, fixed price special. Chef Paco, as always, a welcoming and spirited host. Waitstaff friendly and attentive. A terrific place to start 2020!
Had son in town and wanted him to try this restaurant, one of our favorites.
Best Mexican restaurant in Chicago
Chef Paco is the man. We have been going to New Rebozo for over 20 years and his food is simply AMAZING and he always makes me feel like I am at a friends house having GREAT meal.
What a gem in Oak Park. The food was excellent, and of great quality. Chef Paco, who actually walks around to your table, introduces some of the special dishes is an absolutely delight.
Love everything about this place. Food is amazing, fantastic drinks and great service.
Great moles and ambiance. Chef Paco is a delight. "Oh my God!"
This was probably the best Mexican restaurant I have ever been to. The mole dish was outstanding. The chef came to our table to describe the specials and we ordered what he recommended. We were so pleasantly surprised because we ordered dishes we normally would not. What a treat! I would highly recommend this place.
Go visit Chef Paco. And then say hello to his moles. OMG. It's an experience, not a meal. You will not be disappointed.
Disinterested staff, 20 min wait for reserved table despite tables open, no alcohol in drinks. Things have changed a lot here. Disappointed. Food still good, but not enough for me to go back.
The flavors of these dishes are so unique and varied I savored every bite. So unusual for your local Mexican restaurant. Definitely worth trying.
Just a few more weeks to enjoy the Chiles en nogada before pomegranate season ends, so go to New Rebozo soon! Chef Paco, as always, prepares terrific, creative and tasty food. His moles are a blend of traditional regional recipes and his own creations, and they are out of this world. We had a great Friday night dinner at New Rebozo and highly recommend this special place.
Great food and very upbeat staff. Had our holiday dinner here and loved it tonight! Fun!
As always, new and great dishes from Chef Paco. Never disappointing, always fresh.
We have been to New Rebozo twice recently, and both times the food was outstanding. Chef Paco takes an interest in all of his customers, and personally tells about the specials. The enchiladas with mole sauce were really excellent. This is a great place for a night out.
Creative take on Mexican food. Great preparation and presentation. Welcoming and friendly.
World class. Always try to find a way back here to eat!
Definitely my favorite Mexican food place.. the chef greeted us upon arrival and then he comes to your table and tell you all about his food, which got us all trying things we normally never would of got. It was all delicious and we will be going back frequently
I had an absolutely wonderful dinner. Everyone was so nice and helpful. My mixed drink was perfect and the food was great. I love the atmosphere as it is warm and inviting. I will be returning to try the Moles and the Portobello Tacos. Gracias por un tiempo maravilloso.
New Robozo was excellent. Food was very very good. The staff, including Chef Paco, were welcoming and friendly. The atmosphere was great. Our only complaint was that it took 20 minutes or so beyond our reservation time to be seated as the restaurant was over capacity when we arrived. The food, service, and experience were, however, worth the wait.
Paco is the most consistently professional & personable owner/Chefs I’ve ever met. Doesn’t matter if it’s a quiet Tuesday or a busy Saturday, Paco greets you like a long lost friend and the show goes from there. The food is seasonal, complex and delicioso! OMG!
Chef Paco was a hoot and is quite talented. Go with his recommendations.
While we had an early reservation, it was a busy Saturday night and we neglected to say we needed to leave by a specific time, so some members of out party took a portion of their meal into go containers...but they might have needed to do so anyway, as their portions were more than they could eat. They all said they would come back again on a more relaxed night.
