Sat out on the patio within reach of beach sand and a direct view of an amazing sunset. I was reluctant to share the secret because my wife and I plan to be back there several times and selfishly, we hope we never have a long wait to dine there. I highly recommend "PCG" for casual encounters, special events and just a great place to dine and an amazing spot with picture postcard views of the ocean and sunsets. An added bonus (if you're lucky) is to be waited on by Adam. He's fantastic at "reading a room" and had perfect timing from checking in on us to following up. Fantastic evening and dining experience all the way around! 5 out of 5 stars

We went to Pacific 333 for our anniversary and what a treat! Everyone there was professional and personable. The service was excellent. We sat at a corner table and enjoyed the view the entire time. The fish and chips is absolutely delicious and so is the mac n cheese appetizer, oh my!! And the bread and butter...so good! They even gave us a wonderful dessert!

Staff was very good and attentive. We ate on rooftop. Was comfortable and somewhat intimate. Nice place and good food. Portions were also good and filling. Will definitely return next time we are in town.

Each plate was looked simple but beautifully placed, the taste of each was complex and absolutely delicious, the sauce of each plate was amazing. The experience of pairing with drinks elevated to different level. The service was exceptional from the moment we walked in to the time we left. We will absolutely come here more often.

Came to Campfire during a work conference in the area through the referral of another conference attendee who had been wanting to try it out. We came as a larger group spread across two tables (we made reservations same day so we were fine to split up). Sat on the heated patio - very cozy and vibey near the fire pit. Our waitress Sarah had such great energy and was a pleasure to be served by and she gave us some great recommendations on best amount of food for the four of us seated together. We opted for the olives, broccoli, burrata, brisket, and mushroom cavatelli. Everything was delicious, but the burrata was told to us to be a larger portion and it was very small, especially split across four people. Cocktails were also very delicious - contra costa, machete, some secret vodka cocktail, wine, and a very tasty espresso martini topped with what I can only describe as the fluffiest high end cool whip (and I say that as the biggest compliment). Very happy we ventured outside of our conference resort to get a taste of the local Carlsbad food community. Bravo!

Discover Oceanside

Known for its beautiful beaches, Oceanside has evolved into one of the sun-kissed seaside communities that keep California alive in the imagination of millions. Recently, Oceanside has experienced a great expansion of restaurants both large and small. While enjoying the picturesque Oceanside Pier, visitors can sample the nostalgic taste of vintage burgers and milkshakes. Of course, this city by the sea also features plenty of fresh California seafood and sushi. As you can expect from towns throughout Southern California, Oceanside offers a variety of authentic Mexican restaurants as well. These run the gamut from rustic taco vendors to sit-down establishments with live musical entertainment. Arguably, Oceanside fully represents the culinary diversity that is the pride of California.
