Best restaurants near me in Humble, TX

We had a fabulous brunch here to celebrate a birthday! The restaurant is lovely inside (don't be fooled by the exterior/location) and feels incredibly upscale. I'm definitely one of those people who prefers a quiet environment so I can enjoy the company of those in my party and Union Kitchen was delightfully low key. The food was INCREDIBLE! Everything we had - from Belgian waffles to breakfast meatballs to the lobster omelet - was high quality, huge portions, and beautifully presented. Our entire party had difficulty choosing what we wanted because everything sounded so fantastic and we also had trouble finishing our plates so leftovers will be enjoyed! The only thing I will mention is our server was not very nice. I know that may sound a little strange, however, I didn't feel really taken care of during our meal and many times felt like we were almost an imposition or were asking stupid questions about their offerings. It by no means ruined out experience and I'd still go there again in a heartbeat, it just seemed odd amongst such amazing surroundings to encounter such abrupt service. Please don't let that last part deter you, everything was still delivered efficiently and, as I said, I cannot share enough praise for everything else about our meal here. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful as always! Cozy ambiance, classical music, white tablecloths, excellent food, and quality service. The butter crocks look like hotel bells. My 7 year old son loved the Parmesan risotto (it was his first time having risotto). My older 11 year old kept swiping my jumbo crab lump balls from my soup because he thought they were so delicious.

Appetizers were good. I did not see anything of interest on the main dish menu.

Disappointed with the meals. Seems like it’s gone downhill. My meal (shrimp and grits) was soupy. Not ok. My mom had a steak and it wasn’t good either. Both of us felt like it was cafeteria fare.

Took my cousin for the endless shrimp deal. He ordered the sailor's platter instead. Great deal as well! Delicious and inexpensive.
