I had the flat iron steak and it was so flavorful and melts in your mouth…..be sure to get the lobster macaroni and cheese…lobster loaded and simply scrumptious…love the wait staff, always.

Always a treat to have dinner at Zama when in Bakersfield. The only negative on this visit was how fast the service was..it was a Monday and not very busy. Prefer a little pause (at least 20 minutes) between cocktails and dinner. The food order came within 10 minutes of the cocktail..wish we had said to allow some time before bringing food. The empanadas and cochinita pibil were delish. We were seated and out the door in 45 minutes.

Dana was our server. She was great. Excellent meals. We had a 5pm reservation on a Friday evening and we were seated very quickly. Already looking forward to our next visit!!

My steak was perfect, always is. Ambiance was dimmed down but I like it that way. Nice and quiet. I felt semi- private in my booth.
