Always great sushi and service/attention even to our 3 little ones w kids menu, plastic cups, crayons etc
Another great experience at Nabuki. The wait staff is amazing! Everything from our drinks to food to service is excellent. They don’t push you out the door either.
We had such a fun time. We enjoyed the attention we received it was both professional and attentive. The food as always was delicious, every time we go we have a new favorite. I can’t wait to go back.
Very noisy. Food was good but not great.
Food itself was good but it took forever to arrive. They actually forgot to make some of our sushi order. Sushi came out piecemeal, slowly, over 40 minutes or so. Would not go back.
Terrible service. Our food took forever to arrive (even the appetizer) and the waiter was nowhere to be found 95% of the time. Why was I seated downstairs in the corner when I had reservations and I saw many empty tables upstairs. It was my first time, probably my last time. Sushi was mediocre anyways.
Food is phenomenal, literally hats off to the chefs.
Drinks could be refreshed a little quicker, however it bears noting that the restaurant was busy when we were there so this was more than understandable.
Best sushi in our opinion!
Always a favorite and crave worthy. Service is impeccable and the food is so delicious
Food was delicious and service was great. Maybe because it's Hinsdale, the wine list was pretty pricey. Cheapest bottle on list was $50! Nevertheless, we would go back again.
Horrendous service. Dirty plates piling up with no one picking them up. Food taking forever to arrive. No follow up from staff about missing dishes so if you don’t keep track, umm...too bad! After an hour and a half, just lost my patience and didn’t even wait for the remaining dishes. Paid & got the hell out of there! It was a special occasion which we ended up celebrating elsewhere where they were far more attentive than this sorry excuse for a restaurant!
Always a great meal. Lots of options for different tastes. If you go early there are a lot of families but that is not a deterrent. They treat everyone well.
Great food great atmosphere great service 😃
A splurge that never disappoints!
Amazing food and service!!!
Food is always incredible...expensive but incredible. This time the service was beyond slow. Not sure if server was new, her area too big and couldn’t get to her tables or what, but it was super slow.
This is my favorite sushi in the area. The Stanley Cup is maybe the most delicious thing I've ever eaten.
Has always been great. Really slow service this time. Questioning what changed. Will try again as has been my go to for good sushi in Hinsdale.
Good creative sushi but the service was terrible.
My new go to for sushi. That little bit of Mexican influence on Japanese sushi makes all the difference. I highly recommend. I would given it a straight 5 rating if it wasn't for the fact that it gets so loud at prime times that it is difficult to have a conversation. They open at 5, so the earlier you are there the better as far as noise level is concerned.
So noisy, it was impossible to have a conversation with my table mate. Hardwood floors....nothing to absorb noise. Food was good....but noise negated that.
It was great!
This was my first dining experience at Nabuki and it did not disappoint! Fried rice was amazing all of the sushi we ordered was perfection!
Great experience. The server was so helpful and his recommendations were excellent! We will definitely be coming back.
Best sushi, exceptional service, wonderful dining experience!
Food and service are consistently excellent at Nabuki
Service was unusually slow and we got there right when they opened.
Please get a better rose option and wines that are less than $50 a bottle
Sharon took good of us at the bar as always!
Had a great evening at Nabuki recently. Tried the Grilled Skirt Steak and Cauliflower and it was fantastic with a delicious sauce. Highly recommended.
Very fresh sushi, sashimi and entrees. Lots of variety, and some really nice specialties like hamachi tiradito. Good value for excellent food.
Deyan is outstanding . Food is outstanding. Our favorite place in the burbs
Love the sushi!
Our server Helene was phenomenal. Food and Heaven on Earth sake superb! Nabuki never ever diss
Great food with unique flavors and really fresh fish. the Calamari is da bomb.
We’ve been here before maybe about a handful of times. Have always really enjoyed it. Unfortunately, this visit just wasn’t up to our expectations. We had an early reservation for 6:30. When we arrived the restaurant only had a few tables seated. The hostess walked us all the way into the other room, passing all these empty tables, and put is in the last table. For almost our entire dinner we were the only ones seated in this room. Just felt weird. As for the food, everything we ordered as far as sushi rolls all just had a flat, one note, flavor profile. Two included spicy tuna, which wasn’t spicy at all and both rolls tasted nearly the same although different ingredients. Again, this has not been our experience in the past. The server was exceptional, but maybe that was because we were his only table??? When we left, the restaurant was still not at capacity, but one other table was filled in the back room just as we were leaving. The price point at this restaurant was appropriate for our previous experiences, but this time will cause us to perhaps try someplace else before going back. Which is disappointing.
Very disappointed. Nabuki was one of our favorite restaurants in the area.
We were in the new area, slow service and the noise level was unbearable.
We order two appetizers and left. Another couple sitting next to us also left after the gentleman kept closing his ears.
Service was excellent. Food was pretty good. Portion sizes- 3.5/5
Value for money? A little on the expensive side. For 4 people it will come up to around $150 (without alcohol). We ordered 3 starters, 3 mains.
The tables were too close to eachother, no place to even scoot around (for a small-medium sized person) and was even difficult to shift your chair.
Noise level- 100000000. I've eaten in a lot of restaurants and in quite a few countries and cities, this was by far the noisiest restaurant I have ever been to. We had to almost scream to talk to eachother. Probably because the tables were too close and while the people we were seated adjacent to on both sides were extremely loud (which cannot be controlled by the restaurant), the music was loud too which made everything all the more noisy.
