I surprised my husband with dinner at Ishizuka for his birthday and I could not have asked for a better venue for a special occasion dinner! From the minute you enter through the basement door and are seated at the table in front of the chef it's a fabulous experience. The staff are attentive, the food and drinks are delicious and the decor is stunning. A little piece of Kanazawa in Melbourne. MoreOpenTable Diner -
Iv never done review so for me to take the time to do so, means I was impressed. .... This place made my new years eve. I was blown away by how good the food was. After struggling to find a place for my wife and i we finally were able to book a table At what was, this random italian restaurant. Look If you enjoy tradditinal italian cooking the way nonna does it, then this place is nothing short of amazing. Great vibe.....Great service.......Great Food MoreOpenTable Diner -
Fantastic new restaurant in the city, cosy & welcoming with great decor. We loved the bar and the cocktails, friendly staff and top service. Special mention to head chef Mez who was happy to accommodate our dietary requirements with the most amazing meal, thank you :-) MoreOpenTable Diner -
Very well organised with our big table booking - the food came out promptly and all together with no mix ups and they happily managed a few last minute additions on the day. Nice sunny atrium area, very friendly staff and affordable menu - was perfect for a large farewell lunch with work colleagues. The only thing I would change is the 'no split bills' rule as it's a bit stressful and impractical to coordinate correct change in cash for 20 people. I've found other venues seem to manage individual card payments without issue and it seems a reasonable customer service to offer given our increasingly cashless society. Despite this, I would definitely go there again for work team lunches. MoreOpenTable Diner -
Booked for a Valentine’s Day set menu meal. Had the matched wines as recommended. The meal, ambience, wait staff , food & experience was terrific. Seafood was excellent, tasty , diverse & well prepared. The meat dish was superb. Dessert fabulous & decadent. We were pleasantly surprised as catering for a big crowd did not expect that level of quality. Well done, Bottega!! MoreOpenTable Diner -

Went to the Terrace especially for the High Tea.. Definitely enjoyed the food and the surroundings..The staff were great It is a pity that the High tea cant be away from the rest of what is going on in the cafe as it is very busy and noisy at times. Despite all that we enjoyed MoreOpenTable Diner -

Great service and ambience, with an in-house DJ and views down into Chinatown for window-side tables. Food was good: very rich, with small serving sizes. Don't go here for cheap, generous servings; however, if you're looking for a stylish date night venue, it doesn't break the bank. MoreOpenTable Diner -
Great Restuarant , friendly staff, food was fresh and very tasty, lovely atmosphere , our only gripe is they do not do lunch only breakfast and dinner, we would love to have girlie lunches there but it's not to be. Good value for money It's also only a few minutes walk from Southern Cross Station MoreOpenTable Diner -
We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience at The Press Club. We chose the tasting plate with matching wines. Our waiting staff were exceptional, especially the drinks waiter. His knowledge of the wine, the region it came from and it’s equivalent in Australia made the whole experience even better. Plus he was very quick witted and engaging with our table. The food was amazing, presentation excellent, sizing perfect and beautifully matched with the Greek wines. Which were surprisingly good. Totally enjoyed the whole experience. MoreOpenTable Diner -
This is my second visit and using a voucher. This is at a request of a friend I took the first time. The food is once again magnificent. This is how classy tapas should feel and taste like. Prices are definitely not cheap but for the quality I would say worth it. The staff can be a hit and miss. Most of the staff this night was nice but just over worked and didn't see the many many times when we tried to get their attention until I went up to the counter and requested or get the water myself. The maitre d was the worse. The only time she cracked a smile is when we arrived. But once I produced the voucher, her faced turned and that was it. She wasn't particularly friendly and for some strange reason shot me dirty stares whenever we passed glances. Oh well. MoreOpenTable Diner -
They were slammed NYE but managed it well. We chose not to go up to the roof as per our booking as the demographic was not us! Over all great refit, recommend giving it a go, just hope they can increase their bar service - the one, but very important point to survive in the very competitive Melboure market. I came here with high expectations having heard good things and knowing its relation to some of Melbourne's top restaurants, and it was somewhat disappointing. Whilst I enjoyed a pizza, my family ordered pasta's, one of which was extremely salty, and 2 of which were under cooked. It has so much potential (cool atmosphere, great location) however slightly disappointed. MoreOpenTable Diner -
We had booked for the Afternoon Tea with Dessert Buffet package and received two confirmations, so were disappointed to arrive and find that there was no dessert buffet. The first member of staff who we brought it up with accused us being incorrect, despite us having the confirmations in front of us. The second one offered additional food to remedy the mistake the restaurant had made, definitely the more appropriate reaction. We chose to stick with the normal high tea package and thankfully the price was adjusted accordingly. Overall, I've had better high teas in the past. The venue needs some TLC; hair and crumbs on the fabric sofas, scratched-up china etc. More consistent service needed between staff members. I would have appreciated a spoon to use on the jam and cream for the scones. Overall, expected better from the Sheraton. MoreOpenTable Diner -
Tasty food at good prices. There's a good selection of vegetarian dishes and the garlic naan bread is delicious! We did BYOB with $2 per person corkage which i thought was good value. Total bill for 3 mains, 2 rice, 1 garlic naan and corkage was $64, excellent value for money. MoreOpenTable Diner -
