Perfection...what a wonderful experience...can't wait to go back...we went to lunch. Just hubby and me...it was a beautiful day.....it is a beautiful restaurant... it is in the main building of Ravisloe Country Club..the golf course is well maintained..exceptional landscaping..we elected to sit on the Patio..we were seated immediately...Our server brought water and menu...server was able to answer all our questions about menu items. The menu has many interesting items...hubby started with a cocktail..old fashioned..then hubby had the special..fish and chips..lightly battered cod..very good..with home made chips, with a small dish of mac salad...good size portion...$11..for a couple more dollars you can get an "all you can eat" portion. I had the Asian chicken salad sandwich with seasoned fries..the chicken salad was tasty and light..great flavor..$8.95. The view from Patio was outstanding with a mild breeze.. Looking forward to our next trip... MoreOpenTable Diner -

They can’t get enough of Anita’s Gumbo. Anita’s dedication to family pride and food inspired her descendants to open this restaurant, Nita’s Gumbo, in her honor. For them, it represents the love and tireless sacrifices Anita made for the sake of family. It embodies 25 years of Gumbo gratitude passed down through generations, but most important, it’s a realization of Anita’s dream to share the taste and introduce the chase to all of you in ChicagoMore
