Murano
Cuisine is modern European with a strong Italian influence reflecting Angela’s heritage with a totally flexible menu where guests may choose anything from 1 course to their own tasting menu.
It was so great. We both enjoyed our evening thoroughly...
Absolutely fabulous food served by friendly, knowledgeable staff in a great location.
Our table had a kitchen view and by the end of the evening we were exhausted after watching all the culinary action.
Great food - loved the smoked eel starter. Had the set lunch which is excellent value. Lovely service and the restaurant was very accommodating to my other half who is pescatarian.
Exceptional experience. Will most definitely return ASAP.
Great tasting Italian dishes and the wine pairing was excellent;-)
We will be back for shure!
Superb food and such wonderful unobtrusive service it was a total joy. I have been fortunate enough to have eaten at Murano’s many times and it never fails to deliver.
Food special, varied and superbly cooked. The menu design means the diner can be creative. Pasta with oxtail extraordinary. Cod and turbot gorgeous. Our top choice.
Food good but Overly expensive wine
Would put me off returning
Enjoyable lunch with some very old friends. Staff very attentive and good service. Good choice on fixed price lunch menu. Excellent starter. Minimalist main course, lamb disappointing and not at all tender. Sweet was super. Good wine list but very expensive - need to include a good house wine for under £50. A decent Albariño and a good primitivo from Puglia do not deserve their £60 price tag. Overall we enjoyed ourselves but there are much better and cheaper lunch menus to be had in central London.
The Server was Not helping with the chair when we came to the restaurant
The food was not warm enough
One vegetable was too salty
Excellent food always.
Great service and hospitality
Very unpretentious, excellent!!
an outstanding meal. Service was outstanding. The food was superb and very good choice.
Excellent food well presented, staff who genuinely appeared to care and a calm but vibrant atmosphere.
Truly amazing - wonderfully inventive delicious food served by dedicated and knowledgeable staff.
It was an occasional meet up for good friends. We see each other a couple of tunes a year for a lovely meal and a good chat. Murano delivered on both of these. The atmosphere was relaxed and we were able to sit at the table for ages without anyone appearing to hurry us out.
We had a gift voucher which we enjoyed spending, it covered most of the drinks!
The food was fabulous and very tasty.
Of course it was expensive. Worth every penny!
Great way to spend a leisurely lunchtime with friends. Great food attentive but not intrusive service.
Will definitely come back!
Best restaurant in London , amazing food and brilliant service
A perfect lunch! This is the perfect place to eat a good lunch in a good atmosphere. We felt good taken care of by the staff, and the chefs made good food!
My wife is vegetarian/ vegan and they couldn’t do enough for her
The staff were amazing as was the food
Definitely recommend
Both my girlfriend and I agreed that this was the best service we have ever received in a restaurant and we are both incredibly picky. From the moment you walk in you are very well looked after in a genuine way that does not feel stuffy. The staff were attentive but not overbearing, which can be a hard balance to get right. The sommelier was lovely and recommended some amazing wines. We were also delighted to have an anniversary dessert, which made our meal.
We both had the set lunch which was great value for the quality of the food (the eel starter was exceptional)
Would thoroughly recommend and we will be back!
A great place for a celebration. Perfect service from our welcome to our departure. The consistently high quality food throughout the meal showed creative flair and excellent execution. Delicious. Accompanied by wines from a well-curated list. We had a fabulous time!
Since it opened many years ago, we have always stop for lunch at Murano on our final day in London. The combination of service and food puts is right up there with La Gavorche, The Waterside Inn, and the now departed La Tante Claire. It is a great way to end a couple of London weeks.
This was an incredible dinning experience. The food exquisite and the service exemplary and discreet
Fanstastic experience. Lovely food, great environment!
Great food and service, the friendly sommelier picked up on the fact that we were interested in the kitchen activities and invited us into the kitchen and introduced us to everyone. This was such a treat for us, and I always like to see into a kitchen and feel reassured about hygiene standards.
We loved the canapes, ham and bread presented free of charge at the start of the meal. We mainly stuck to the house wines but if money were no object (as it possibly is for some of the guests, alas not us!) we would very happily explore the extensive wine list in more detail!
We had a problem with one menu item when it was brought to the table, but this was dealt with well by the staff.
Great food, wine, service and company .. what more can you ask for??
This is my second time here. Lovely restaurant with great ambience, excellent service and delicious food. I had the ravioli and risotto this time. My friend had a starter which wasn’t to her taste, and they were concerned and brought her something else. This was a nice touch as they noticed she didn’t eat it and wanted her to enjoy her food. 3 of us went and we loved the experience. I thought reasonable prices for a restaurant of this quality . Large wine list too.
Perfect in every way. Wonderful staff. Exquisite food. Nothing too much trouble. Will be back.
My second visit to Murano within a fortnight and my third visit overall. Cuisine is creative and innovative, presentation is beautiful, food is perfectly cooked, staff are friendly, knowledgeable and attentive, ambiance is relaxed and charming- in short, everything is perfect. It’s a great place.
Comfortable and unpretentious ambience.
Food exceptional modern Italian beautifully presented. Interesting wine list although would have liked to see more Italian selection
Friendly welcoming and knowledgeable staff helped make this a memorable evening. Good value for London!
Really wonderful lunch with my friend. Later than we wanted because the train broke down but calmed and relaxed by the lovely staff and ambiance. Wine delightful, food delicious and staff Devine.
A very formal restaurant, no music or atmosphere; it felt we were at someones wedding.
The food was varied, some dishes were excellent, others less so.
An interesting experience overall, but not particularly relaxing ambience
Perfect in every way. The best meal I have had for a long long time. Service excellent and not too stuffy.
Excellent value for money, beautiful food could not fault the service. Altogether a lovely meal.
My second visit here and enjoyed it so much that I immediately booked for the following week.
Superb food, delightful service, charming ambiance-couldn’t fault it!
Amazing food and excellent service. Portion size was just right. Great customer service and all staff very helpful. The lemon tart was to die for. It was a wonderful experience and I would certainly recommend it. The restaurant is well worth it’s Michelin star.
Absolutely fabulous as usual.
We tried each of the courses and really enjoyed the different dishes. Will go again.
Wonderful food in the Italian style, in a very pleasant room. Really interesting a la carte menu and wine list , which is quite expensive but worth the money, and it is in Mayfair, after all. The staff are very welcoming and friendly, which helped to create a nice ambience for our meal. The room is not large and the tables are set well apart. The set lunch menu at £37 for 3 courses is outstanding value for a Michelin Star restaurant. The cheese board was the best I have ever enjoyed. Angela Hartnett has created a superb restaurant in London and I can’t wait to go back again
One of my party of three was half an hour late which was treated with understanding by the excellent and friendly front of house staff. The menu was flexible and delicious with excellent flavours. Unlike some top class restaurants the menu is geared to giving the diner choice as opposed to channeling you into what the chef wants to cook. I live near Bristol but will repeat the experience when next back in the capital. First Class!
