Great food with amazing flavors, but don’t expect to get full. Waitress recommended we share, but the portions were so small. We ordered 5 dishes with 4 people and left the restaurant still pretty hungry. And the bill was $230...cool atmosphere and a great place to just hang out get a few drinks and munch. I would not recommend those place is your wanting a full on dinner.
Momed has a wonderful brunch menu, and amazing cocktails.
Sadly the food was extremely underwhelming. The mezze bread and dips weren’t appetizing (aside from the tziki which was good) and the shashuka was just ok. The water glasses smelled like wet dog. The place was pretty and I wanted to like it more!
Great place to be able to bring a big dog
Beautiful ambience, good wine selection. Great for a date. I especially liked the prawns.
Great food. Beautiful restaurant casual dress
This place never disappoints. The spare ribs is savory and the staff is very knowledgeable.
We have visited Momed several times over the past few years. We always enjoy the meal. And even though most of the seats are outdoors under a covered patio, their space heaters do a good job, even on a chilly night.
Momed Atwater is always a pleasure and it didn't disappoint.
Food was delicious. The manager came by the table to ask how everything was and to welcome me back (have been a semi-regular for years) which was nice.
Everyone enjoyed what they ordered.
A pleasant little hide-away.
Went for my wife's birthday. Party of 12.
Food was great but the highlight was service. Benjamin, our server was attentive and polite. Highly recommend it.
I grew up in a Moroccan family and was raised on Mediterranean staples. This restaurant misses the mark completely. The menu is ambitious but gets all the basics wrong. Whole wheat sourdough Israeli pita... why complicate a perfectly simple thing? Even if prepared to taste right the texture was stale. Falafel - very dry. Hummus - half way descent. Cocktails and pickles were good, but that was not enough to save the meal. Also, the whole interior direction of the place is confused. Lastly, the service was just awkward. No one was particularly warm or excited about the menu (makes sense tho). It didn’t really feel like we had a proper server, just serve people taking our orders and us flagging someone down when we needed something. My recommendation: do yourself a favor and spend your evening at Kismet or Open Sesame. Kismet does high concept far better and Open Sesame is authentic, delicious Lebanese you will want to keep coming back for.
Great food and service in a beautiful space.
Lovely space, great tasting food. Our only issue that the service staff gave one of our dishes to the group next to us, leaving us waiting and wondering where it went? In any case, we canceled and still had a pleasant meal. Great atmosphere, kind of a hidden Atwater gem.
Valentines Day (and thank God NO prix frix menu!).
It is always a pleasure to go back to Momed for any occasion. We have been there for different types of events. We always walk away happy, satisfied, and looking forward to returning.
Such a great surprise. This was our first time here and it was great. We went for Valentine’s Day and it was perfect. The food was great as well as the service. The ambiance is very relaxed but fun, which is totally our style. We will definitely be going back.
Definitely a neighborhood gem. Wonderful inventive food and cocktails in a charming airy patio. Plenty of options for for those with dietary restrictions too.
Friendly valet. Loved the design & vibe of the restaurant. Yummy menu options. Looking forward to our next time back.
Terrific food, beautifully presented, attentive and knowledgeable service. It is located next to the train tracks, so it can get noisy.
The food was fantastic! Service a little on the slow side, there were times where we had to chase down the waitress.
Great food and fantastic service.
Great service and delicious food
Always a delicious meal
Enjoyed Brunch at the restaurant. The Brussels Sprouts was excellent and flavorful. Our party's meal includes french toast, meatball and short ribs. Each was prepared superbly and serviced by an attentive staff. The staff uses a casual style but was always around if something was needed. I would go back to the venue for a meal.
Staff was phenomenal and food was perfect definitely a great place to have a Bday dinner!
Mediocre food. What this place calls "Tangine" is NOTHING OF THE KIND. Not good.
Loved the dinner
Mushroom flatbread, roasted eggplant and Cornish hen were absolutely delicious
I realized after I parked that I've been here before, the place was packed which help the high energy and ambience. We had the shrimps appetizers that were excellent, we also had the famous Momo chips and we weren't impressed. My wife had the Lamb Kabob and I had the Scottish Salmon, they were both excellent, the lamb been slightly better. We couldn't resist their desserts, the Basbousa was delicious and a fresh taste and the flour-less chocolate cake was also just fine. Excellent cocktails. The service was outstanding. We had a great time and we'll be coming back soon.
Delightful atmosphere and ambiance. It was a cold evening but very warm and toasty on the patio.
Love this place!!
Great food and great service.
Great place for brunch, good coffee, fewer egg selections than in the past (somehow the omelet disappeared from the menu), but several good choices. Reasonably quiet when they don't have the DJ or a big noisy group there. Very nice in good weather. Patio is heated and protected with plastic drapes, and OK any time but better when it is warm out.
The Brussels sprouts (starter) were VERY tart from so much lemon juice. Not very crispy, but oily.
Arugula &Fig Flatbread was too sweet. Yes it’s a plate that should be sweet, but it was not balanced and we could only stomach one slice of how sweet it was. Would recommend the restaurant modifies these 2 plates.
Good food but pricy for what you get. Nice quite location unique set up.
Had a wonderful dining experience in December.
This was an uncharacteristically disappointing visit, primarily due to the long wait for the braised short ribs, which was not communicated to us until we had already been waiting close to 45 minutes. The ribs were comped—but that’s not at all the point is it?
I've been to Momed a few times in the past and thought it would be a great place for Christmas Eve. Not too busy and with a special menu, it was perfect. We ordered a lot of appetizers to split and then had a main dish each + a dessert to share. The drinks were also spectacular, really enjoyed the special seasonal menu. Can't wait to return.
It was a rainy Sunday evening before the Christmas holiday so it was quiet in the restaurant. The food was delicious and we had a lovely time.
