Had a wonderful birthday dinner for my wife. This is a great place for special occasions. The food is very good, but the menu is somewhat limited and it's a bit pricey, but for 3-4 times a year, it's a nice spot. We've been here a couple of times and it's always busy, for good reason. We'll be back

This is my favorite Greensboro restaurant. It is always a great dining experience, with Chef Tad’s superb creations. The seafood is amazing, but the ribeye was cooked to perfection and melts in your mouth. Everyone should try the calamari!

The venue itself offers a space for everyone. Beautiful outdoor dining space, quaint indoor sunroom, lower dining for a more lively dining experience and upstairs for a more intimate dinner or a larger group dinner, adorable bar too. The short ribs melt in your mouth, no knife required. One of the specials was a Blackened Filet Mignon, which my husband ordered and it was cooked to perfection. Fried oysters were crispy on the outside and so tender on the inside. Great wine and cocktail selections. Staff is professional, friendly and extremely knowledgeable and helpful with food & wine selections. You're missing out on an exceptional dining experience if you haven't dined here yet...

Simply fantastic! The staff were wonderful, we had an patio table booked, and we were the only ones out there. We picked our table, they set up a patio heater, turned on the lights and ambient music, it was amazing! The food is always good, and yet again it did not disappoint. The lamb was phenomenal, highly recommended. Thanks again, will be back very soon.

We had a very nice evening at MJ's on Thursday night. We were in a small room which overlooked the patio area, so we had a nice view. The service was great and the food was even greater. I had the halibut, which was a "Special" and it was also great!! We split an appetizer of calamari and it was delicious. This is one of my favorite restaurants and I look forward to going back soon when the weather gets warmer so I can sit on the patio!!

Excellent food. The shrimp tacos were delicious. My husband had the porch chop, my son had the steak and I had the duck. All excellently cooked. Ambiance was good. The noise level was loud tho. The other diners were quite loud. There should be a way to absorb some noise? Can’t wait to dine there again. Been looking for food like this. I hope they’re consistent

We have never been disappointed at MJ's and Saturday night was no exception. Our party of 7 sat in our requested spot upstairs. New waiter Kyle was very attentive, responsive and personable. The food was excellent as always. Calarmari appetizer was a crowd pleaser, and all diners cleaned their plates. It was no problem to substitute polenta for the mashed potatoes accompanying the ribeye. Wedge salads are huge. Another great evening at MJ's!
