I arrived about 15 mins. before my 11:30 reservation. I was told that the restaurant is not open for lunch (apparently breakfast buffet and dinner only). Upon telling them I had a reservation, the restaurant check-in person pointed to some tables in the lounge area, and said I could sit there, and be served there. They insisted that it was not their website that i made the reservation on, but OpenTable instead. I told them that there was a menu on it. The table was OK, and we were served properly, etc. But something was wrong with this. I was unhappy overall with the experience
Food was delicious. Service was unusually slow.
Attentive service. The throwback burger was delicious!
We were seated promptly and the service and food Wes excellent.
Service, food excellent - very flavorful. Ambiance - extremely noisy - could not carry on a conversation with a companion because of the noise level during the peak lunch crowd. I definitely would have rated the restaurant 5 stars if it wasn't for the noise.
This restaurant is next to the lobby of the hotel, which makes it a bit noisy. The ambiance is sober and practical. I had the impossible burger and was well made and accompanied of house made potato chips. Overall ok for a hotel’s restaurant.
Good food but I felt it was a bit expensive for my meal. I did not order any drinks just to save some money.
The interior design is very elegant. Great service and high quality of food. Perfect place for family dinner and date.
It’s was fine for a hotel restaurant but definitely not what we were expecting.
We made reservations for Saturday and Sunday. We were celebrating our 1 Year Anniversary and stayed at the Hilton. We want to thank Lorena Bravo for her superb service and attentions she provided for our special occasion. I’m a Hilton Honors who has visited many of their restaurants, but we have never felt so wonderful and grateful at all levels. Please let Lorena know we will always remember how she helped me with my knee issues and how her service exuded with excellence! Thank you and we need more Lorena’s in restaurants.
We had a business dinner on Friday evening - 10 people, service and food were excellent!
Nice selection, good service
I think MIX Restaurant and Lounge is a great spot for eating if you're at a conference, and your food options are pop-up stands and food trucks. While I thought everything was good, I likely would not eat at MIX Restaurant and Lounge if I was in the area as there are, in my own opinion, better options close by.
MIX was able to deliver an awesome dining experience despite the immediate demand and large crowds associated with the PMA conference. Everyone was so helpful and the food was delicious. We felt well taken care of and not rushed. JOB WELL DONE! I will eat there again.
Food was good. But not for the price. The servers were extremely attentive and very nice.
Breakfast buffet is wonderful. Plenty of choices to choose from and can get an order of Belgian waffle or french toast upon request. Dinner however, was suprisingly just OK. Food was good. Portions small and high priced. Dont mind paying higher prices for very good food or prime, but this did not fit that description. I thought that maybe I was expecting to much, but competition nearby, also a hotel restaurant, had what to us seemed to be better quality of food, and choices for dinner, at the same price point. Overall, would recommend breakfast. Dinner ok if you dont want to venture out.
Great service and food.
The cost of food was way too high; to the point of gouging. It was very noisy in the restaurant.
This is a very good place to eat if you're at a convention and have a larger group for dinner. We were seated at a good table, away from the main part of the restaurant which made it easy to hear everyone (although it was a bit close to the kitchen)! We all enjoyed our meals and our server was excellent and helpful, with a nice sense of humor.
Super convenient to convention center.. we had sparkling water, one wine all for $99.00. unless you are starving or your feet are aching, pass on this restaurant.
Great place for a business meal. Staff is great!
Decent food. Good service. Expensive. Decent for a business lunch.
Hosted a birthday dinner here. The food has definitely gone downhill over the years. Had the ceviche which was pretty good - lots of acid and a pretty good serving size. The veal cannelloni was odd - per its description, it had “veal stew” in the noodles. As such, there was gravy in the cannelloni. This mixed with the tomato based sauce and cheese made for a weird combination. Not my favorite. My husband had the salmon which was tasteless and dry. No small wonder that the restaurant was empty.
The restaurant was quite empty, which I thought was odd at 7pm on a Tuesday night, since my conference had over 2500 attendees. The meal, however, was delicious and I was thrilled not to have to walk another mile and back to dinner.
We selected the MIX based on our excellent experience at the Hilton in Long Beach. We were not disappointed, as the service was outstanding. The menu could have more variety, but our meals were good. Again, our services was refreshingly outstanding. Thank you.
Dinner was excellent. Terrific wait staff. Really top notch.
The food and service were very disappointing - limited menu choice and the food was luke warm when it arrived despite there being no other customers in the restaurant at the time. When we passed by the restaurant on 2 subsequent evenings it was also near empty so clearly not the dining choice for the vast numbers of people staying at the Hilton Anaheim.
If you're staying at Hilton, it's convenient but service is slow (even tho' you'd think they'd be used to convention traffic!). Just opt coupons if you have status for continental Bkft; couldn't get a non-fat latte & waitress didn't ask if a latte w/ 2% milk was ok, she just delivered food w/o any acknowledgement that we were missing the latte! Very BIZARRE!
Ate a meal outside on the patio and then this meal for breakfast and both were very tasty, and our servers in both instances were extremely attentive and helpful.
Wait time with reservation was zero time even though there was a line waiting to get in. Service was great. Drinks person was immediately at our table when we arrived at the table. Caesar salad with salmon was excellent. Waiter provided mini rolls with salad when asked. Waiter allowed separate checks.
Really nice place! Have a great drinks and food. Wonderful service
