Absolutely brilliant restuarant. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The service is very attentive and food delicious and plentiful.
Staff seemed very busy.. cocktails came after starter and sides came 15min later than the main course
Excellent food (salt fish) and wine. Very good service from a waiter that clearly cared about our experience. Only two slight negatives - very noisy and expensive wine. But well worth the visit and will be back again very soon.
I’m a fairly regular customer here with family, friends and business clients. Overall we enjoy coming but we seem to have a service issue each time and I’m really starting to wonder what the problem is. The last time the bartender couldn’t make a simple cocktail twice and then neglected to serve us. This time, it was my daughter’s birthday and while our server was really good, the overall service was bad. We waited and waited and then different things showed up at different times. Plates weren’t cleared or replenished and we were quite surprised at the portion size of one item for the price charged. For several hundred pounds each time we go, I really do expect the service to be nearly flawless. I have another business dinner there this coming week. We’ll try again
Excellent food and service. Pre theatre menu food was very good value but generous; beautifully cooked and presented.
The only negative note is the very expensive price for wine...excellent choice but start at £40 a bottle.
Milos is by far the best fish/seafood restaurant in London
Maybe the best place in London to have so different fresh fish which you can choose yourselves.
The staff are absolutely brilliant - helpful / attentive without being overbearing. The food is great too - we’ll prepared and presented, not pretentious, and most importantly delicious. And well priced, particularly for the location.
The only slight reservation is the noise level. I found myself almost shouting across the table to hold a conversation. That said, it’s noisy because it’s popular, and it’s popular because it’s good....
Always a pleasure to come to Milos. We were 2 couples and we had a great evening.
Really very small choice of fish given the wide range that appears on the ice at the front of the restaurant.
No sauces with fish of vegetable accompaniments meant that it was all a bit dry.
Lovely surroundings though. Small changes to fix the above could make it amazing.
Wonderful food, great ambiance, 1st class Servers
What a great restaurant!. I had never been here before but was recommended by a friend., and so I booked a table fore lunch. I was escorted through to a perfect table in the cool as it was hot day, although they did offer me table in the sun. Service was just top notch, and the waiters looked incredibly smart as well as being efficient and helpful. Food was simply divine and I would recommend the grilled lobster which was outstanding. A great restaurant in a great location, with great service and great food.
I will be going back as soon s I can.
Excellent food in a very good ambience with great service . Only one small issue .. I ordered a green salad which was charged at ...... £16 ... even in central London that is quite simply taking the Mickey .. Apparently flown in from Greece ... at that price it could be flown in from Mars !....
Wonderful food and experience at Milo’s !!!!
We all had a wonderful evening. Panos looked after us .. making sure everything was perfect and it was .Food was delicious . Can’t wait to go back .
Leider hat sich Empfang und Service massiv verschlechtert im Milos London. Das Essen ist immer noch gut, aber es geht gar nicht, dass der Kellner Teller abräumt, obwohl die Gäste noch am Essen sind.
Fresh and tasty.
Perfect in every sense
The best fish I’ve ever had
Fresh , perfectly cooked , delightful and personable service. I was super impressed and I can’t wait to go back
We had a great time as usual .
Frank made us feel at home and was very funny.
Lavraki was delicious and so fresh .
The Greek salad is always a great idea.
Excellent food .. service and atmosphere .. staff very friendly and competent .. we all enjoyed the food and atmosphere
Brilliant place, nice terrace for romantic al fresco dining. Very friendly and attentive staff , fast service , delicious food and drinks. Really enjoyed and would definitely recommend for fine dining.
Excellent place, great food and cheerful staff. Highly recommended
Amazing food. The starters certainly not small! Would definitely go again. Great pre-theatre experience.
Pre theatre date, was very impressed with all aspects. Food and decor incredibly impressive- so close to the theatre. Would return
Exceptional seafood and ambience.
The food took ages to be served
Perfect for what it aims to be but pricey.
Really great food
Very disappointing evening. It took 15min after being seated for someone to come and greet us and offer some water. Menus were left on the table without a word of explanation and another 15min passed for someone to come and take our order. Explanations of the menu would have saved everyone the frustration of ordering three dishes that were not available tonight... then the mezze plate arrived with the usual ridiculously small portion of pitta bread. And the worse was that the small celebration cake the front desk lady promised to organise for my partner whose birthday it was, never made it to the table... we paid 330gbp for 4 including one bottle of gavi, extortionate prices which i would be happy to pay if the service was impeccable. The food was excellent, but the value for money is atrocious. This whole experience left me and my guests very bitter. It seems that this place is full of private bankers on a jolly for whom this amount of money might not mean much - especially if on expenses or paid for by their clients. But if you appreciate good food, don’t have a six digit salary and you value good service, Milos is certainly not for you. A real shame as I had heard good things about it.
Milos is always a good idea! Amazing food, service, atmosphere- always a fantastic experience
Amazing food! One of the best restaurants in London
I had been to the Milos in Montreal a couple of years ago and I felt overall that was a better experience. At the London location the food was good. The fish was delicious. The desert excellent. The Greek salad good, but not spectacular. The Octopus fantastic. The service was a bit fussy. There needs to be a balance between attentive service, and fussy service that can be a bit too intrusive at times.
Overall excellent, my only disappointment was the cost of the wine. I felt it was overpriced at the per glass cost. The markup was too excessive, when compared to similar class restaurants.
You want to ensure a good class of clientele and provide excellent service and experience, but you also don't want to insult the intelligence of your customers.
Much too noisy, but wonderful food and thoughtful service as always
Our first visit to Milos and we were not disappointed. The display of fresh fish was lovely and the steak I had was perfect. All the staff were lovely - very friendly and chatty. It is not cheap but excellent quality. We visited on a Wednesday evening and the restaurant was very busy so booking is a must.
We arrived 30 minutes late for our Saturday evening reservation and in contrast to some other places were welcomed by the Reception team and after a short wait at the bar were given a prime spot table without all the warnings about how long we had the table for etc). Frank, the man who welcomed us, was outstanding in making us feel very much at home and ensuring that we didn't wait too long.
We were guided in our food selection as the menu was a little difficult to follow and we wanted to ensure that we sampled the best of the fresh fish on offer. Panos our server was also outstanding. His choices were without exception delicious and were not things we would naturally have selected ourselves. The raw gropes and mackerel that I had for starters were delicious and beautifully presented. My partner chose the ceviche which was also very good (if less adventurous than my choice).
We shared a large fish for main course (can't remember the name but it too was delicious) and accompanied that with salad and grilled vegetables. The salads and the vegetables were all good portion sizes so it is easy to get full without realising it. It was all washed down with a nice white burgundy.
The restaurant was busy and had a good energy. All in all a great meal leaving us keen to visit again. Thanks again to Panos and Frank.
Wonderful food and price point from a pre theatre menu. Good wines but they’re not cheap by the glass.
Super easy location for local theatres. Would go again.
