Nice ambiance, great service. Food was good but not exceptional Parking can be tricky if going on a weekend. Valet parking is available.
We can always count on a great meal and experience at Mill’s Tavern. Tonight was no exception. Superb food, excellent cocktails ,cozy atmosphere and friendly/attentive service. A winning combination every time. Having valet parking is a bonus. Our “go to” spot.
First time eating here after passing by for years. Really enjoyed the restaurant. Love the atmosphere and the food was very well prepared. The only very small negative is we did notice a table served some seafood dish and it smelled extremely fishy going past. Very strong smell, as if it was frozen fish, which typically has that strong pungent fishy smell when cooked. That did have us avoid the seafood and stick to the red meat options. The rack of lamb was fantastic! Perfectly cooked and seasoned. Kudos to the chef on the lamb.
Service was very nice and the host came by several times to check on our satisfaction. One disappointment I found was how one guest was really given an unusual amount of attention. Not sure if a regular or something, but it was a little too much and obnoxious to watch. It certainly took the focus away from other guests while waitstaff and others spent a long time chatting it up at his table throughout the evening. Other than this i really did like the restaurant and will certainly return.
Plan on spending a bit here. It is on the higher dollar side for meals, though they are generous portions.
ALL of the service was excellent from the valet to the chef:)
Food was fantastic, great wine selection!
We had an AWESOME evening!!
Thanksgiving evening; short staffed (3+ call outs FoH, BoH?). Food up to house standard, not exceptional. Server (Phillip H) was excellent, even with split stations and backed-up kitchen. Will continue to patronize house, but will lower expectations during holiday periods.
Wonderful ambiance and food. A nice Thanksgiving experience
Took over 35 minutes to get waitress to the table, soup was cool, Ceasars salad Average steak was good all veggies were cold. Not what it was before
Thanksgiving dinner. Food was very tasty. Soup was amazing. Steak was very good and so was the turkey. Best we’re the desserts. Nice atmosphere.
It was a wonderful thanksgiving dinner! Food was amazing and service was exceptional! We really want to go back and try their everyday menus!
We all enjoyed a great evening. Service was great! The food was wonderful and we all were very happy to be back at Mills.
Phil was great! Chef Ed was incredible as always.
Amazing service! The food is phenomenal, highly recommended!
Delicious food and excellent service- can’t ask for much more.
Food was great- great setting for a meal- Lynn, our server, was outstanding, as always. Great evening
Amazing food and great service, highly recommended.
Food and service was amazing.
Street parking is limited near the restaurant, however the Valet was excellent and responsive.
The environment was very comfortable with nice lighting. The waitstaff was excellent. Wine options and food were both very good. Definitely recommend for those looking for good seafood and steaks!
Most importantly, the food was wonderful. All four of us ordered from the Prix Fixe selections. All of us loved our food. Calamari was outstanding as well as the pumpkin bisque. The salmon, pork, mushroom risotto were all excellent. Our favorite dessert was probably the Carmel bread pudding. The mouse assortment got mixed reviews. Initial service was fine and our waiter was congenial. But it took a long time to get the appetizers and even longer to get the entrees. We don’t expect quick service with the challenges facing restaurants. Even taking that into consideration, the wait was excessive. But as I said in the opening line, most importantly, the food was wonderful.
Top shelf service and some of the best food in town! Always a treat at Mill's Tavern!
9:15 reservations and wasn’t sat until 9:30…. The food wasn’t at its best.. Mushroom risotto was overly spiced and not cooked traditionally…And I know risotto… Brussels could have been cooked more… Mac n Cheese was just ok… Calamari had to many tentacles and not enough rings… The olive oil with the bread was nice…
The food use to be good….
Great place for a nice night out or special occasion. The servers are great and the food is always excellent.
Ambience, food, and service were all very good. Prices seem a whole level higher, though, than other comparable restaurants we've enjoyed.
In town for business and Mill's Tavern was the perfect spot to have dinner with a small group. The food was excellent, not one complaint from our table and Phil our server was incredible!
WOW!! The service and food was outstanding! My lamb was cooked to perfection and our waitress was wonderful. I couldn't have brought my wife to a better place for her Birthday!
Outstanding place. Great food and atmosphere
From the moment we entered the restaurant the staff were pleasant, smiling and professional. Our waiter was very helpful with our orders. Our food was outstanding and very flavorful. We had the risotto, swordfish, chicken breast and pork chop..each dish was beautifully presented. We will definitely return.
We hadn't been there in several years, but the food was excellent as always. It was a nice quiet place to catch up with friends. The grilled pork chop I had was tender and perfectly cooked and the chutney on the side was an excellent accompaniment.
So my 1st time there I got the Cajun swordfish it was absolutely wonderful I would definitely be going back
Great service, Great vibe cool spot food was good. It was on the pricy side went there expecting to spend a lot of money just didn’t think it was going to be that much.
Amazing menu and amazing service (thank you Lynne). Unique dishes and dessert was amazing! oh
The hostess on Saturday evening was incredible! She came over to us 4 or 5 times because our table wasn't ready at our reservation time. We didn't mind at all because she was accommodating us w/ the actual table we requested. She went above and beyond for us because she knew we were celebrating our son's 18th birthday. She even gave us dessert on the house because of the slightly later seating to our table. She was the best. Our waitress was good but not great. It took a very long time to get our glasses of wine and when we asked for butter along w/ the bread, she kept forgetting. Not a big deal at all but it was noticeable. She was very pleasant and It was very busy that night.
Thanks so much for being our favorite restaurant!
Wonderful time, delicious food, really great wait staff, even got to meet the chef😊 Highly recommend
What a wonderful little place for a Friday night dinner! The food is very good and the service is excellent! Highly recommend
Excellent restaurant! It was the first time we sat near a window. We didn't feel rushed! We will definitely be back!
Tables are way too close. Could barely hear each other. Food was okay- not bad/not great. Martini was small. They should re-think the number of tables near the bar. We were crammed between two tables, and there was a speaker playing music over our table. It felt like a fast food environment, not like a fine dining environment.
Excellent service and food
We were tourists here for Pretty Woman at PPAC, and had dinner at Miller's. Atmosphere very nice, service very accommodating.
The only little problem, we both ordered the cajun swordfish, which was fabulous, but the veggies along with the entree were lukewarm, had to send them back for reheating.
Absolutely the best part of my vacation to Rhode Island!
