The best Mexican restaurant! I promise they have a wonderful variety with delicious flavor!
Mestizos is always a great experience, amazing margaritas, perfect food and very nice staff!
The food es really good , we have many options for Mexican food
Great food. Great atmosphere. the place was clean and guidelines were followed. Staff were very helpful.
This is hands down the best Mexican restaurant I have experienced in Europe. I have eaten here now twice in the space of just a few weeks. The menu has an outstanding selection of dishes it makes it difficult to choose. The food is delicious, fresh and authentic. The margaritas come by the pitcher and are excellent (made with proper fresh lime juice not the horrible ready-made concoctions used in some bars and restaurants). All of us commented that we will be coming back soon. The only negative for us is that they are based quite far away from where we live in London. However I heard they are opening a branch soon in the SW part of london. Hurray!! Please sign me up to opening night! :)
Great menu v authentic and busy place. highly recommended.
Mestizo Is the best Mexican restaurant in town, they avoid the Tex Mex fare, delicious and very similar but not Mexican, so if you want a burrito don't come here, it's the wrong place.
They serve authentic Mexican food like mole, tamales, both in corn and banana leaves, a very nice guacamole, and many other delights including dishes popular in certain Mexican festivities (pan de muerto around Day of the Dead festivities, chiles en nogada around Independence Day in September and so on).
I've taken many friends here and it never fails to please and surprise.
I would agree that the food sometimes could be better, but I never had a terrible experience here, to me the important thing is real Mexican flavours are on offer, unlike most places with burritos on their menus.
Delicious food, great drinks and fantastic service.
Great food - and check out the Mexican grocery next door too.
Lovely food, tasteful decor. Staff were courteous and helpful and I would highly recommend.
There were flies everywhere which was really gross especially for it not being summer. Also the noise of the blender every time they made a frozen drink was very annoying. Food was ok. They didn’t have burritos at dinner time which I thought was odd. They are apparently only on their lunch menu. Overall wouldn’t go back but glad I tried it.
I took couple of work colleagues for lunch and we had "chiles en nogada" a typical September dish. They were outstanding! Marysol, the owner suggested panuchos and that was as starters. Highly recommended for true Mexican food.
Extensive menu and good drinks, food high quality as excepted
Friendly staff and great atmosphere - very nice food especially the flautas and churros.
Rather stands out in the area - clean and spacious looking restaurant. Authentic Mexican food.
It's a clean, fast and friendly service. The restaurant has nice ambience and good spots to sit. Would certainly recommend for celebrations/special occasions.
A hidden gem. Walking around the area it’s pretty dead but walk into this places and it’s buzzy and full. The food if brilliant and very authentic vs other Mexican restaurants in London. Lots of Spanish being spoken.
Disappointing experience. I heard a lot of good things about the food here and had really high hopes but we thought food was very bland, chicken was dry and tacos were very disappointing. Was lacking a lot of flavor.
Great food, drinks and service.
Great authentic (and tasty!) Mexican food, always enjoying coming here
Food was really good, with many different options. We had the brunch menu and it was definitely worth it!
okay, could be better. I was not impressed. I think the food could be better and service.
What a lovely spot! We went for brunch on a Saturday, and had a great experience. I had the set menu with vegan options, and my partner ordered some of the small plates and everything was delicious. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and I couldn't recommend it more.
Amazing food and service! I was looking for some new Mexican food to try and this place has so many options I was almost overwhelmed.
After not going to restaurants for a while it was great to get back out to Mestizo and support the during such uncertain times. The food as always was amazing and they really went the extra mile to make sure we felt safe during the current pandemic, with hand sanitising stations by the door, clear markings on the floor and social distanced tables.
Mestizo is one of my favourite Mexican restaurants in London and I highly recommend you check it out if you enjoy Mexican food.
What a treat! A Mexican restaurant with some authentic delicious dishes that stand out from others I have been to in London. The service was great and the atmosphere was fun. If they have it as a special, definitely have the Chile en Nogada!
Amazing, incredible, outstanding. Not one bad word to say.
Very happy with the service provided, comes across as a really authentic Mexican place. Food was great served quickly and delicious
Very delicious Mexican food. Every bite (and sip) is a burst of flavour! A bit on the expensive side, but considering the quality and the unique ingredients used, Mestizo is definitely worth a visit.
Best Mexican food I've had in London. Really authentic. And the shop next door is great too.
Authentic Mexican with great ambience and attentive service.
Excellent service - the place is very well decorated, the food is delicious and the staff went out of their way to ensure I was happy! I had accidentally asked for something that wasn’t on the menu and our server asked the kitchen if they could make it anyway (they did and it tasted amazing!). Definitely recommend.
Such a great restaurant. Really authentic mexican food, some of the best I've had in London.
Really enjoyed our meal at mestizo. As someone who had a gluten allergy it was amazing to have a specific menu to choose from. Will definitely be back!
It's great to be back. We had a lovely meal and made the most of the margarita festival. We will return soon.
Wasn't my first time, won't be my last time. I love food at Mestizo, so many delicious options to try and i haven't been disappointed with anything yet in the past. I also love it that it's next to a market to stock up on some Mexican sauces or other foods.
Really enjoyed the Mestizo special with the meat in the hot stone bowl, everything was packed with flavour and the salsa piccante selection on the side was definitely worth it. Cucumber margarita was also delicious, will have to come back to try the jalapeño version!
The service was impeccable, everyone is super friendly and welcoming it feels just like home, the flavour of the food is very tasty but I feel like for a buffet is a little bit on the pricy side, may be by reducing the cover you could increase the feeling of value. Definitely coming back but may be for a la carte dinning, also, thank you so much for all the effort to keep the place safe from COVID you are doing a great job!
Food was tasteless, the main taco tray dish all the meats were cold, the nachos dish had barely any crips and was soaked in cheese. I asked for guacamole and the waiter didn’t bring me any, asked for grated cheese brought me feta cheese. Staff struggle to understand what was being said to them understand this is a Mexican restaurant but then language barrier made it difficult to communicate. Overall my meal cost 103 as was such a waste of money very disappointed
