We celebrated our 42 Wedding anniversary. The meal was excellent and the happiness of the staff made for a wonderful dinner and a perfect celebration.

The hospitality here is wonderful but service is a little slow (they might have been understaffed due to the holiday). The entire staff is passionate about providing fresh, quality food. There are so many amazing selections and the menu is vast...definitely something for everyone.

Mele is one of our favorite restaurants in DC. It’s hands down just so good. From the exceptionally warm service to the fantastic dining, it’s an Arlington staple. I’m beyond happy to see Mele doing so well.

The food was good, the service was a bit slow and we think they brought one person in our party the wrong glass of wine. The old fashioneds we ordered were also not very good.

We loved the food and the wide menu at Mele Bistro. Large selection of seafood and the steak au poivre was also delicious. They were able to make the outdoor dining “patio” charming and inviting despite that it was on a parking lot. Service was slow at times but pleasant server. First time there and we plan to go back!

This is one of my favorite restaurants. My boyfriend and I have been coming for years and it never disappoints. The food, ambiance, and service are consistently good. This was the perfect place for us to celebrate my mom's birthday as a family.

Food was good. Service was great. The only thing that was bothersome was they had a large dining room area and they insisted on putting everyone right next to each other. There was only 5 tables sat but they were all placed within 5-6 feet of each other with an entire side of the restaurant wide open

We spent 2 nights at Mele. I wrote a review from first visit. We like the food, service
and venue so much we returned for our 2nd night in Arlington. Both visits were just
excellent. You will enjoy this bistro very much. We certainly did.

We went from Georgia for a funeral for our Brigadier General family member at Arlington National Cemetery so we stayed nearby. After researching restaurants
with Covid policy, menu choices we liked and the reviews, I made reservations for
Mele. What a wonderful find. The owner and his staff are attentive and the food
was excellent! The lamb serloin was delicious and one of the party had seafood
pasta. To emphasize how pleasant was our experience we returned the next night.
The calamari appetizer was delicious and we remarked delicate and not rubbery.
I am from Athens Georgia known for gourmet dining. I wish this restaurant were
here for me to go often. I highly recommend Mele Bistro.

Cozy fu my abd friendly. We had oysters from chincoteague which was done of the edd see t I ever had. The lender frank is very proud of the the selection of fish and meat.

It is a charming Arlington restaurant with an ebullience owner and attentive staff. The food is delicious and moderately priced. The wine list is perfect for the restaurant. I am looking forward to returning as soon as I can.

We were very, very pleased with the entire experience. The food was delicious, the service was great. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Everyone in my party decided to return the next evening. We later had to cancel our reservation because of the curfew in DC but I hope to be back soon.

The food was fresh and the wine was good. You could tell nothing was frozen and everything was of high quality. The service was wonderful and everything was reasonably priced for the sheer quality. I would highly recommend Mele to anyone visiting DC/Arlington and the surrounding area.

I had been at Mele 3 years ago with good memories of a great menu, food, service and experience. Should of have repeated the visit long time ago.

Great food on NYE but the service and timeliness of of reservation was very disappointing. We arrived at 7:50 for a 8PM reservation and had to wait outside in the cold until 8:55PM to sit down as there were no tables available. The waiter / manager offered us wine and calamari outside but ended up charging us for the two bottles and appetizer for our group of 6 people. The food here was great but was underwhelmed with the service / accommodations for a very lately seated table we reserved for NYE a month or so prior. Wanted to go back but will likely be trying many other Italian / seafood restaurants before thinking of going back.
