Food was good - bit pricey. Table was in corner so no visibility on show.

We came in this restaurant and ordered food. We made a request for our meat to be well done, which the waiter responded like it was a out of the world request.

Our starters were served with our main dishes. Food was served within five minutes of our arrivel.
Starter was an pumpkin fried dish, there was no pumpkin to be detected. It was not freshly fried.

All in all a very bad experiance.

The atmosphere and the staff of the restaurant were ok. I'm really disappointed by the quality of the food. Really poor quality for the value. I would not recommend it.

lovely food (a main and a rice filled me up), good service and both the live singer and the live belly dancer were charming, sexy and hugely entertaining

Sadly this experience didn’t live up to the Maroush reputation. The food was very poor quality and for what was paid it was a very small amount of meat. It was quite frankly embarrassing to take our guests there.

Excellent service, we were able to take our table early and food arrived quickly and was tasty. I chose 2 starters (falafel and batata harra) as a main washed down with a Beirut beer. The singer was very good and the crowd participation if you like that sort of thing. Good seating space downstairs and although not cheap represents fairly good value

I am Lebanese. I understand the food. This has to be the absolute worst I’ve ever eaten. From the cucumber and yogurt salad which is a bowl of soup with scant limp cucumber shards to the vine leaf and unidentifiable stuffed squash combination. Horrible. The entree floats in tepid sauce? Water and spice I expect. The vine leaves and squash were so far past their edible stage that the rice had lost any semblance of a grain and become a congealed blob. The squash was just greenish gray slime.

The‘basement’ dining room is reminiscent of an at home illegal 1972 disco. Twinkle lights strung in the wall. Old metal chairs. Erratic tables. If you had that as a party room in your own basement you would have gutted it years ago.

I did not eat the entree or the cucumber salad/soup. I ate the kibbie and the meat pies. I paid near 50 pounds for this meal. Unconscious of the food going back I got a good? yes? and a check. Let the diner beware.

As a side note, not out of spite but courtesy, the cook behind the front counter where you enter and wait needs to be made aware of the “plumbers crack” he flashes every time he bends over.

Great selection of traditional Lebanese food and lovely staff. They have a belly dance session starting around 9pm which cranks up the volume but it's still alright - and entertaining to watch!
Been back twice now and will return in the future!

Rubbish experience. Food was cold and looks like a day old. There was no manager in the restaurant that we can complain. Very expensive food. never ever we are now going there.

Be prepared for belly dancing and extremely loud, blasting music... a bit inappropriately loud to enjoy a good meal. Wouldn’t go back.

Starters included the best Lebanese sausages I've ever eaten. Went early so v quiet - which was great.
Mixed Swarma was lovely and probably too much of it. The sauces to accompany were very tasty.
Waiter spilt our wine when pouring was the only lowlight

The food was amazing ... we had the lamb shawarma, mixed grill, baba ganoush, kafta meshwi. All of them were brilliant, especially with the 2 sauces they provide. The service was good ... we are at the corner in the basement so it was sometimes difficult to get hold of the waiter. Ambience / environment is nothing home to write about, but it was comfortable enough for the family. We went in early, so had it quiet ... but it started filling up pretty quickly around 7pm. Overall, brilliant food and value for money.

Reasonable, the food is average compared to most Lebanese restaurants I visited in London but slightly overpriced. Overall feels like casual dining rather than fine-dining

My first time in a Maroush. Excellent, authentic food. Attentive service. And a reasonable charge at the end. What's not to like.

Met with a group of friends I hadn’t seen in a few years and was an ideal location for friends coming from Essex and Surrey to meet in the middle.

Went for set meals which took away the stress of ordering as a big group and we were able to dive into shared platters, enough food for us and good variety too

Live entertainment was a bonus to the evening which started with a live singer knocking out a few modern / well known songs followed by a belly dancing who worked her way round the floor.

Highly recommend!

Got the shawarma mix served cold as it was lying on the counter waiting to be picked by the server.

Mixed grill was average quality. I came from Atlanta and honestly even an average middle eastern or Persian or Lebanese restaurant there has better quality and quantity food to offer than this one.

Not too impressed at all.

Loved this place, would definitely go back again and again . The live music was fantastic, as well as the food and cocktails. Very reasonably priced. All our dishes came at once, so we could pick away at it while we enjoyed the live entertainment and have drinks.

The Food and Service was great the only thing that let it down was the decor was not in Lebanese Style and the washrooms were untidy with broken toilet seat.

I love it. Still one of my favourite Lebanese restaurants. Speaking while the belly dancing is going on is always a challenge as it can be too loud but otherwise than that the food is great, very filling and an ideal place for supper clubs.
