Great meal, felt very safe there, excellent service, and we could have an enjoyable quiet conversation.
Food was delicious. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet restaurant with excellent family
Authentic Northern Italy cuisine. I had a crab salad that surprised the palate by being warm. The extra large rigatoni homemade pasta was tender and al dente!! Wait staff was very attentive and Marcello himself was present amongst the diners. A wonderful dining experience
An excellent experience. We dined outdoors (with a tabletop heater)
Food was delicious, the eggplant (small portion) was a bit too small.
We enjoyed the violinist that was playing at each table.
Love the fact that we are able to order small plates so that we can try many things.
Very nice experience. They are paying very close attention to the social distancing for this pandemic. Food is very good.
One of my favorites, the service and food are always excellent
Awesome food. Great service. Pretty restaurant! Great for date night or a family dinner!
As always great food, great service and great atmosphere
Our small birthday celebration was an excellent experience at Marcello's.
The care taken by staff, the personal interaction with Marcello, and (of course) the food were everything we wanted and more.
Each dish is carefully prepared with fine ingredients. The menu is a far cry from the usual "Italian Restaurant" fare. It is creative with the ingredients, well presented, and often from areas of Italy that are under-represented elsewhere.
Definitely recommend Marcello's!
Best restaurant in Rockland county by far. Never misses a beat.
Excellent food, excellent attention to COVID prevention, relaxing, professional and friendly staff
Wonderful food, service and ambiance. Not your ordinary Italian-American restaurant. Inventive and delicious plates that are traditional and unique. Service is impeccable. Ambiance is great, even with the current restrictions.
We were a group of 4. I did not particularly enjoy my entree, however, the other 3 in my group enjoyed theirs. The server seemed a bit impatient
Fabulous food. And Chef Marcello created a special appetizer for us to boot!
Always reliable and excellent. They have been in Suffern for many, many years and there is a reason for it. Food is carefully prepared and presented beautifully. The small plates are a great idea. Can’t go wrong here.
Maitre d was very professional. He made us feel welcome and that our visit was greatly appreciated. He timed his visits to our table perfectly. He never rushed us out. I was impressed with the chef coming out to see how we were doing.
Wonderful service and meal!
Had an anniversary dinner here! Sat outside. The cars were a bit noisy but not horrible there was pleasant music popped in. That distracted us from the cars.
The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Love Marcello’s!!
Never disappointed. Delicious!
Great food, service and overall experience. Even in challenging circumstances with the pandemic, our night out was very enjoyable. Marcello is a gracious Chef and owner and was very friendly and showed us different parts of his restaurant. If you are an Italian foodie, I’d highly recommend Marcello’s.
Amazing food, amazing service! My favorite place to go!
Very nice and special for our anniversary
Marcello’s never fails to impress with their wonderful service and delicious food!
Marcello’s is the go to everyday fine dining experience.
The food was amazing and the wait staff outstanding.
My go to place for a good part of my life. They are like my family there. Best Italian food in ROCKLAND and Bergen
My daughter chose this restaurant as her last place to eat before she went away to college.
Overall - it was great.
friendly and interpersonal staff. timely and efficient service. delicious food. well worth the price. highly recommend and looking forward to visiting again!
food was so.......good price was fair and poetions were very good. Was great to be out and feel safe.
Our first return to inside dining at Marcello’s Assagi e Vino since the pandemic began. Tables inside and outside are properly spaced, everyone including customers were masked and shielded appropriately and everything was sanitized.
The food and service as always is spectacular. Fried cauliflower and zucchini flowers as appetizers with eggplant and lasagna as our entree. Molto bene! We had tartufo for dessert to finish off a fabulous meal. Please bring back the Napoleon my wife so enjoys!
Thank you to Marcello, Lloyd and all the staff for an enjoyable evening out in a safe and delicious environment. We look forward to hosting our daughter’s bridal shower at Marcello’s in September.
Professional, friendly, extremely aware of Covid precautions, and outstanding food, as usual. Had specials, and tuna cooked perfectly, zucchini blossoms, straight from the garden were wonderful, as was the rest of the meal.
My husband and I celebrated our 20th Anniversary. We couldn’t have picked a better place! The food was outstanding! Marcello and his staff made it very special for us! We enjoyed appetizers all the way to dessert!
Under the circumstances we had a great time. We can;t wait for full indoor dining to resume.
My husband and I asked our waiter if we could share the caprese salad appetizer. Our waiter cheerfully accommodated us. We then ordered the Nile perch for one of us and the veal rollatine for the other. We didn't specify which dish was for which of us, and our waiter asked if we were intending to share. When we said yes, he proposed that the chef would split the order in the kitchen and time the two dishes so that we could eat the fish first and then the meat, effectively giving us separate courses. The food was excellent, the preparation was outstanding, and the service was SUPERB. We were thrilled with our meal.
I have been enjoying the food here for years. My favorites include the seafood. Last time I had delicious Branzino fish, shrimp and scallop over a veggie medley. You cannot go wrong with gnocchi or the short ribs!
We had been to Marcello's once before and decided to go again because we had tickets to a performance at the nearby Ramapo College. The food was OUTSTANDING again!
Service was lovely and friendly. No problems. But the food?? WOW. My husband and I usually don't order pasta at Italian restaurants, because, well, I make it at home. BUT, we both had the butternut squash soup, which was a daily special, and then two different pasta dishes. OMG. Mouthwatering. We took home what we couldn't finish, and I am still enjoying the food!
this was our first time at Marcellos. The staff couldn't have been nicer or more attentive and sincere in wanting us to enjoy our evening. The food was excellent. We did the salsa dancing afterwards and had such a nice evening!
