Service is sooooo slow and such a shame the restaurant is beautiful the food is consistently good but service needs to be desired

Great food, lovely and clean restaurant with a good atmosphere, accommodated me as a vegan (went above and beyond to work something out with the kitchen, excellent staff.

Our waiter seemed to had forgotten that we didn’t order dinner and we had to flag him down. I expected mantra to be a different experience, like high end. That let me down as it wasn’t. But bad but nothing fantastic. Food was over priced esp the ambiance they didn’t have.

Mantra was an old favorite of ours, and on our regular restaurant rotation when we lived closer to it. Once we moved out of town (and during the pandemic) we lost track of it. I'm very please we have rekindled our love for the place, the food and the service. We'll be back again soon!

Great Indian food. Great lychee martini...sag paneer, eggplant enree...we always enjoy.

They were so supportive for my reservation needs. The food was amazing. The apps were the best part!!!! They even catered to our palette needs. I cannot eat anything spicy. When I told the waiter this, he recommended a plate that was so good!!!! The drinks were great too!

Very good service and outstanding food

Food and service were excellent as always! Tables were spaced out across the front of the building and they did a great job with trying to make the outside space feel inviting with tiki torches, LED globes and other touches. (You could opt to dine in as well). The staff and kitchen were extremely accommodating with our dietary restrictions, and management stopped by to thank us and the other diners for coming out that night. So glad Mantra is making it through this tough time, and highly recommend them for dine-in or takeout!

Our go to Indian restaurant

We were at Mantra Paramus for dinner Wednesday night. They haven't lost a step! Their outdoors set up is impeccable, food delicious as always and service delightful!

Best night ever! Always welcomed with the most friendly and gracious hospitality - every measure during these unusual times to be safe / cautious / conscientious while still offering a respite with the finest cuisine, ambience and positive atmosphere! Ten stars! The only place besides home we would have gone tonight!

Mantra is fantastic! Food is authentic and quality. We will be back.

The worst experience. Waited for table for almost 45 minutes after reservation and no one came to take order for almost half hour. Food was delicious but not much vegetarian options and ambiance was beautiful.

Had a birthday meal here. Nice place to take the family for a special treat. Delicious, creative Indian food presented beautifully. Some dishes were exactly what you'd expect from an really good Indian restaurant, others were creatively adapted to look or taste special. Really great experience. A bit on the expensive side as far as Indian restaurants go, but this is not a typical one it's much nicer. Service was very friendly and polite but a little slow.

Food is delicious; service is great; waiter could not have been nicer; but really don't like the practice of adding 18% service charge as we were only a party of 4. Almost double tipped and I'm sure they some people don't look closely and do.

Not sure... The food was 'just ok'... the prices were VERY high for this. The drinks were quite costly. The waiters were TOO quick to bother you while you ate... wanting to quicky remove plates and continually asking if you wanted anything else..

Overall very good though portions were on the small side.

We had an incredible time at Mantra! Our server, Sam, was so kind and helpful! He really made our night special. Also, the food was so delicious and beautifully presented.

The appetizers were good. The main dishes were sub par.

The ambiance was fantastic and our server was highly accommodating! We got an array of appetizers including soup to begin and it was fabulous! The main courses were delicious and cooked to perfection. It is very reasonably priced. I can’t wait to go again!

Service was well timed. We enjoyed our meals. We both got medium as the spice level and that was just right. If you like spicy food I would recommend getting hot. The appetizer soup tasting was a nice added touch.

Have not been to Mantra in several years. Food was great. Service and ambience very good as well. Will be back! Loved the jazz.
