Very relaxed and comfortable space. The menu options are creative and excellent. It's a perfect location before or after an event at Lincoln Center. The small bar menu is especially nice late night. More

My friends and I have been here several times. Most of the food has been superb. Service has been outstanding. However, I believe it's overpriced. Here are some comments on food we had this time. Stupidly delicious: - The "Proper Fish & Chips" were the best we've ever had--and we've been to London! The batter is as light as air, and the fish was SO moist! - Fish tacos: Great combo of mahi-mahi and yummy stuff. The server warned me that she has gotten complaints in the past that the fish was dry. I appreciated her honesty and fair warning. I got them anyway, and the fish was not dry at all. Maybe they got so much negative feedback that they addressed the problem. Which is great. - Bluecoat gin with elderflower tonic! Best G&T I've ever had. - Cosmo: if you don't mind a sweet cocktail, it's really delicious and refreshing. Not so great: - Lobster roll: It was $32.50. For that price, it should be pct. But the dressing was runny, and the lobster was tough/overcooked. Flavor was good, though. The bun was as it should be, a really soft potato roll. But the softness of the roll made the toughness of the lobster very noticeable. -Cheddar tater tots: they didn't seem very potato-y. Texture was not of shredded potatoes, which provide all those nooks & crannies for the frying to be crispier. The texture out side was curiously smooth and not very crunchy, and inside the consistency was too even. Instead of shredded potatoes, it almost seemed like polenta or something. Not what we expected. More

Chinese | Lincoln Square, Manhattan

An old school restaurant in the best sense. Delicious food, with a decor that is both kitsch and sophisticated and an atmosphere that is both bustling and soothing. I’m always happy that I went. More

L C Kitchen is consistently good for food and service. The menu doesn't change much, but the food is usually very good quality. For such a busy place, the noise level is moderate. The staff are excellent taking care of customers, and the convenience of being so close to venues is valuable. More
