Pierangelo is polished and welcoming and his team is top-notch from valet to manager.
The food is always fresh and specials are creative and tasty.
Love Louie's the gem of the neighborhood and all of Greenwich.
This was my first time at this restaurant. Food was amazing. A great place for eat in or take out.
The back of the house needs to step up their game. Long lag times, dried out fish, and a dripping overhead vent - yuck! will make me think again about returning.
The outside dinning was a nice setting, but the place was swarming with mosquitos. They have to do something about that. We spent the time swatting them throughout the meal. Citronella candles would help.
Amazing meal. Everyone loved their dishes. The filet, rib eye, fish special, veal parm and spaghetti bolognese were excellent. The crispy squash and carrots were a great appetizer. Service was fantastic. Can’t wait to come back.
Always excellent food and service. Never had a bad meal. Highly recommended.
Lovely restaurant and superb service. Did I mention how good the food was?
Veal Piccata is one of my favorite meals and they did not disappoint.
We frequently recommend Louie's and have been eating there regularly for years.
Delicious as always!
Great food, great outdoor dining and you should keep on with outdoor dining until Fall!
Louie’s has built a fine tented patio with well spaced tables, delicious food, and great service!
Nice outdoor dining under the added tent in front of restaurant. Short Rib Ravioli my favorite. Fried Calamari is excellent. The Penne alla vodka and Shrimp Fra Diavalo was also excellent.
Great neighborhood food. Staff are friendly and food is always very good. It’s my “go to” place.
Topic top top
My friends and I decided to go out Wednesday early afternoon.
It was very easy to get a reservation on Open Table. Louies called and confirimed reservation.
Wait staff was very attentive and friendly. Food delicious!
Louie’s is a favorite place due to the delicious food and consistency of quality. We enjoyed our meal. Love their dessert choices, especially the pineapple upside down cake!
Have not been to Louie's in a while, decided to have lunch there. Food was very tasty like I remembered. Had nice table in the back by the fireplace, attentive service. Overall good experience will be back soon.
The noise level was so high, it was a terrible dining experience.
While the food and service were good, we are in no hurry to return. It was a relief to leave!
great place to go and talk. Great staff - leaves you alone but is there when needed
Extremely noisy in the main dining room but now I now that's not a great time to go if I want to the able to hear my dinner mates.
Terrible service, loud and noisy. Can’t compare to Capital Grill! Need a new manager and waitstaff
The place was small, crowded, and noisy. The veal was unlike any other veal I have ever had. It was tough and awful. I went to this years ago and it was good. Since they have changed hands, it has gone downhill.
An out of the way place for non locals, off the main road. It is a non descript looking building. They do have valet parking. The food was very good and well prepared typical Italian restaurant style. The pastas were excellent as well as the chicken parm. The wine list is very fairly priced with the usual pinot grigio, chinati, vernaccia at around $40 per bottle.
looking forward to going back soon!
Food always delicious. Can be loud. Bar is nice. Located in a uniques spot! The fried carrots and zucchini are amazing!
As always, just a great experience ! Really fun place.
Food and service were both excellent but it was far to loud and noisy to be able to enjoy them. We could not even have a conversation at the table do to the noise level.
Very good food, fun neighborhood place
Delicious as always, especially one of the specials tonight: black linguine pasta with lobster and crabmeat! Yumm, yum, yum! We also had the lightly breaded pork chop with arugula salad and diced tomatoes and sausage and broccoli rabe orecchiette pasta. We started with mouth watering baby claims casino and shrimp cocktail. Another great meal! Can't wait to come back again.
Wonderful atmosphere and fantastic food.
There was one table of very rambunctious guests, who were F bombing throughout the dinner so loudly that it became a very unpleasant experience for everyone else in that room. It was shocking to me that the wait staff did not do anything about it even though we requested them to do so. It really did change the whole ambience, and the level of enjoyment.
Always a pleasure !!
Enjoyed. Good food service and selections. Moderately priced
Excellent service , great place and food was incredible. The staff and team made us very welcome even when I messed up reservation on Christmas Eve. Will definitely be back and highly recommend. Thank you
Pleasant Christmas Eve dinner
We had a lovely family Christmas meal. The restaurant is so festive and the food is always delicious.
Quaint neighborhood spot. Good food. Classic atmosphere. Reasonable prices which is a big draw. Tuesday or Wednesday night place
Service was non-existent. While it was a busy night -the lack of service was comical and 4 out of our 8 dishes came out wrong and at different times. Go to the one in Darien, food and service is much better.
It was good. I’ll go back. I did not like my table though
Lobster meat in pasta special tasted either spoiled, freezer-burnt or both. After I complained the kitchen argued with me through the waitress about it and I chose to forget it so I ate the part of the dish that seemed safe but was charged full price. Never going back there for sure.
Always a pleasure for our Sunday night dinner, after the children go to sleep!
