Very nice experience! Cosy and delicious! MoreOpenTable Diner -
The staff are absolutely brilliant - helpful / attentive without being overbearing. The food is great too - we’ll prepared and presented, not pretentious, and most importantly delicious. And well priced, particularly for the location. The only slight reservation is the noise level. I found myself almost shouting across the table to hold a conversation. That said, it’s noisy because it’s popular, and it’s popular because it’s good.... MoreOpenTable Diner -
Bocca Di Lupo never disappoints! Love the menu - varied, most items available small/large. Everything is super fresh, simple and delicious! Love sitting at the counter watching the chefs and seeing all the amazing food they prepare. Such coordination and skill - a really well run kitchen! Service it professional and attentive without being overly fussy. Great wines by the glass/carafe. MoreOpenTable Diner -
This has been one of the best experiences I've had in london so far. It was my graduation lunch. We went at a time when things where quiet as they were preparing for the dinner service. It was the most incredible lunch my service we ever had! MoreOpenTable Diner -
Came to Thomas’ for their afternoon tea but they were out by the time they took our order. They had 4 left and the two tables next to us who ordered before us took all 4. Our amazing waiter (whose name I wish I had got) helped us still get that afternoon tea experience. He suggested some cakes and traditional scones and crumpets. He did not try to up-sell us on food we did not need. He was super attentive and kind. Would love to go back for the actual tea experience. MoreOpenTable Diner -
Everything was amazing but the cheescake probably one of the best things I have never ate. MoreOpenTable Diner -
Much better than the older HRC London location as Piccadilly is more spacious and less rushed. The service and politeness/attentiveness of staff is also much better here. The food is great as always. Also thank you for including the service charge in the menu price as in the older location it was added on unexpectedly at the end of the bill and sort of ruined the experience - but now it feels more transparent! The only thing was that this restaurant ran out of drinks so had to re-order multiple times. Otherwise a good experience and hopefully the customer service continues here. MoreOpenTable Diner -
Had a wonderful dinner with friends, including one couple’s 9 year old son. Our chef, Charlie, was fantastic and really engaged with all of us but particularly the boy who was thrilled! The food was delicious and super good value as we were able to make use of the early bird special menu. My only criticism is the decor is a little tired but soon forgotten with the excitement of the meal. MoreOpenTable Diner -
The food at Farzi was excellent. The only thing that really bugs me is adding on 12.5% sc to the bill and then being shamed in to paying. People should be able to tip if they want to MoreOpenTable Diner -
Lovely for a pre-theatre meal. The menu is quite expensive but that’s to be expected for its location. The food is delicious and the staff were really accommodating and friendly. If you’re going out for an occasion, it’s a great spot to eat. MoreOpenTable Diner -
Lovely afternoon tea on Easter Saturday. Staff were very attentive and helpful. My friend is veggie and she had a great sandwich selection which is often poor with an afternoon tea. Lots of food (more than we could eat despite not having lunch), tea in abundance and good service. Was really impressed MoreOpenTable Diner -
Really lovely meal with my husband and 3 year old. I had the burger which was lovely and husband had the duck and waffle. Both were nice but his won. Really enjoyed the cauliflower, it was expensive but very tasty. Probably the garlic bread let it down for me, felt like a bit of a waste of money and wasn’t great. We weren’t offered a children’s menu which was fine by us (assumed not available) as my little one will eat what we eat within reason. Staff friendly and didn’t wait long to pay the bill which is always a massive plus for me - when I’m ready to leave, I’m ready to leave!!! Really enjoyed and would go back. Would love to try the main restaurant MoreOpenTable Diner -
I've been to The Grand numerous times now and found it to be a constantly great experience. The staff are always exceptionally warm, friendly and helpful and the food is delicious. Great experience, great value for money and great food will definitely keep me coming back for more!! MoreOpenTable Diner -
Took my son, 10 other young lads and my wife for his 21st birthday. I wish I could remember our waitresses name, but she coped incredibly well with a bunch of 21 year olds! Her service, attention and ensuring they were fed and watered was first class. The food was excellent and flowing, as too the fabulous cocktails. Whether a group, with your partner and a small group, you'll love it. Bit pricey at first glance, but when you factor the amount of cocktails, done be put off. MoreOpenTable Diner -
I’ve adored this place for years and always increasingly perplexed why it is never booked to capacity. Obviously I don’t want it to be because I want a space but it’s so great it seems a shame so many are missing out! There are many people frequenting nearby chains but this is an independent establishment which is superlative and deserves support and indulgence. MoreOpenTable Diner -
Location is perfect! and a very warm environment- In general all very nice. Thank you cafe concerto MoreOpenTable Diner -
First time for me and my friend eating afternoon tea and it was great! The atmosphere was really nice, the place was beautiful and the service very good. The food was nice to, the scones magnificent but the pastry’s was a bit to sweet for us. I can highly recommend this place for a nice visit! MoreOpenTable Diner -
Lovely food and atmosphere. However our drinks arrived after our food came, and I was very disappointed to see they all came with plastic straws, which are not recyclable and can harm marine life. It would be wonderful if this restaurant changed this like other restaurants are doing, then I would be more than happy to return. MoreOpenTable Diner -
Booked to eat here on a Thursday late afternoon as we had tickets for the Haymarket Theatre. Didn’t actually need to book as we had the whole place to ourselves! Food arrived in a swift manner and was spot on. The baos, which are mini burgers of sorts are amazing. The burger and chips were decent too. 20% off with our theatre tickets meant the bill was less than £35. For the middle of London for somewhere to eat before heading off to the theatre you can’t go wrong. MoreOpenTable Diner -
I was with my mom and we would like to try an authentic English afternoon tea. We found this nice lounge randomly. The ambiance was superb, service was great, food is above standard. It is a great place to have some rest after shopping or walking. MoreOpenTable Diner -
Grandmothers, the main keepers of tradition
We are an Italian Company and we make of the traditional and regional Italian cuisine one of our core values.
To do this, we looked at the world's largest cooking expert: grandmothers!
Because when it comes to food and choices at the dinner table, we preferred the classic recipes of a tradition rich in history and taste: those of grandmother.
The perfect menu? It Always includes lasagna, risotto, the Parmigiana and meat dishes, adapted in all regions, to represent the model of Grandma's kitchen.
Our mission is to make you feel right at home, to help you to revoke the memories and flavors of the time when you were a child.
We had some cocktails and lunch. Staff are really friendly and helpful and the food was delicious and arrived very quickly! Unfortunately we didn’t get a chance to have a go on the Shuffleboard but that is an added bonus to the venue. MoreOpenTable Diner -
Team lunch event. Food was fabulous- lots of choices catered for all of the group. Service was a bit slow though despite the pub not being busy. Never did get that second pint... I’d definitely recommend the Warwick for food as well as drinks, but if you’re in a rush - order at the bar! MoreOpenTable Diner -
5th View restaurant is a regular of mine. I often have meetings around Piccadilly, and it's a quiet haven away from the craziness down below. The food is simple but reliable and quick, and the staff are usually very friendly. I'm vegetarian, and the options aren't exactly inspiring, but always good. This last visit was for a business lunch, the food was great, and on a rare summer's day it was a great spot to look out over a bright and shiny London. It's also a great place for early evening cocktails! Their martinis are marvellous, made however you like it. Perfect.... MoreOpenTable Diner -
Terrace on Piccadilly was a delight to eat at! Good portioned food at decent prices for London (especially the West End!). All staff were extremely lovely and helpful and professional. Happened to mention when I booked the reservation that it was my girlfriend's birthday, and they gave a little extra starter (mushroom & cheese bite-thingy) AND a little dessert plate with 3 little types of desserts with 'Happy Birthday!' written on the plate in a chocolate sauce, both of these ON THE HOUSE (free of charge)! Will definitely be going here again, regardless of birthdays or not! MoreOpenTable Diner -
