We love this restaurant and I could never give a bad rating, but I do want to make a couple of comments on our last visit.
I had made a reservation stating that it was for a birthday and requested a certain booth in the bar. We didn’t get the table we requested and there were no birthday...
In a meal which included cocktail, appetizers, entrees and desserts, there was only one flaw. My octopus appetizer had been cooked to the point of becoming rubber, which could barely be cut by a knife. All other items in our meals were cooked to perfection and were delicious.
We always look forward to eating at the Farm Winery Bistro at Chamard Vineyards. The menu has something for everyone. The food is fresh and the servers are very thoughtful.
The staff could not do enough for us! They were attentive and helpful. Unfortunately the dining staff were overloaded and so the service lacked on that end. But when it came to getting what we asked for in other areas such as plates, napkins and utensils under the tent for my for our friends...
Consistently great because the chef and staff are so good (their classics/regular items are excellent but they are flexible and ingenious and always have a few newer items) and the wait staff and bussers are extremely capable and knowledgeable.
We went for Restaurant Week 2020 and we both ordered the three course dinner. We went at happy hour on a Thursday and sat inside where the seating was limited and the booths were separated with plexiglass. We were warmly greeted and seated immediately.
We started with glasses of wine and I ordered...
This is funny. I was literally talking about the restaurant, checked my phone and saw this opportunity to share a review. I am SO IMPRESSED by this restaurant. We were seated immediately per the reservation that we had made. We were gifted a cherry tomato salad as a treat prior to our first course....
Awesome as usual! Fried chicken is the best! Cheers!
Had the 3 course tasting menu for dinner with chef-in-resident Victoria Blamey and the food and drinks were phenomenal. Bold and balanced flavors. Slow roasted tomatoes w burrata, ceviche scallops, squash blossom w peekytoe crab, pork cheek vindaloo, lamb chops. She's there til Sept 7 so go while...
We both had Veal Martini. Absolutely the best. Our waitress was knowledgeable , friendly, helpful. This was our second memorable meal at Positano. Can’t say enough good things.
Our new favorite. We will be back .
Took my sister in for a Birthday lunch and as usual we were delighted by the quality of the food and service.
Sakura is like the best place in the area for Sashimi and rolls and the first items we ordered were Fatty Tuna and Urchin, both superb.
Then, we ordered Vegetable Gyoza and the Boneless...
After having been shuttered longer than most restaurants during the pandemic-related closures, Rizzuto’s has reopened and has stepped up its game. Had the salmon — excellent — and the swordfish, also very good. Great service. This is a far better experience than it was a couple of years ago.
Last minute Saturday night reservation so we were seated at the only table available- “by the grass.” It was a beautiful night but chilly and breezy- staff was most accommodating and re-seated is when a table became available on the patio. We enjoy appetizers and these were good - gyoza, tempura...
Due to Covid and the stupid CT government's continued restrictions, despite low infections, the ambiance was not the usual. The staff did a marvelous job serving us and the food was excellent. All best wishes for economic recovery to TL. Mary
What a treat this was! A friend & I went to Tarry Lodge for lunch & the entire experience was amazing. The staff were all so friendly & we had great service. We decided to share 2 different pizzas- margarita & a new menu addition, fig & ricotta. They were very different, but both excellent. Their...
Best fish, risotto, pasta and salads anywhere. The veal osso bucco is perfection. The menu is solid across for all tastes. Vegan and gluten free friendly.
Simple, but very good wine list available by glass and bottle.

Its a great restaurant snd a gem better than Mykonos in NEwington. I have visited and don't think i will again. The wine was Greek and...
Dined indoors for the first time at New Mill since the pandemic began. The indoor arrangements were well done and at no time did we feel at risk. The food and service were terrific as always. Excellent experience.
The restaurant was very quiet due to only 8 other people were inside but the most impressive event was that I requested Open Table to provide us with a dozen red roses 🌹for our anniversary, at the table and they did. I was not sure how that request would be handled but it was handled perfectly.
Service was great!! Food was great!!
There was a party in another room on the floor and children were running around screaming, in and out of the bar area. The hostess at the desk tried to bring them back to their parents, where they would then come back out running and screaming.
It was hard to...
