This one has it all. Chicken, sausage, okra and shrimp
Get some nice cushions on those hard wood chairs, very uncomfortable.
Food was excellent! Best place so far here in Vegas to have seafood, catfish was phenomenal. Service was excellent! Definitely will go back, soon.
We visited Lolas in March 2021 and the food and service was excellent. Yesterday’s visit was terrible. First the table was not clean it was sticky to the touch. My husband’s chicken breast was overcooked it had so much breading on it looked burnt. My fried oysters were over cooked for a few and the others were undercooked even though the outside was fried crispy.
Lola's was my favorite restaurant until last evening. The martini took at least 15 minutes to arrive I had to instruct the waiter how to tell the bartender to make one because of a previous martini disaster there, the breading on the fried shrimp fell away from the shrimp. This made me wonder if they had not used a cold boiled shrimp, battered and fried it. Can't think of anything else that would cause it. Not enough salad dressing.
Bye Bye Lola
We had the most marvelous lunch at Lola’s! The food and cocktails were delicious and perfect. I highly recommend the Crawfish Puppies, the Catfish, Shrimp, and Grits, and the Sins of the Flesh cocktail. Everything we got was scrumptious! You absolutely have to finish your meal with the Bananas Foster Bread Pudding with ice cream, it was amazing! The service was slightly slow, but it made the meal perfect. We had time to relax and enjoy each course without feeling rushed at all. We’ll definitely be going back again and again!
Great atmosphere and friendly staff! Would return!
Was referred to restaurant. Enjoyed blackened catfish over grits. I usually don't eat grits but enjoyed these. I sampled from family members plates the shrimp Charlotte which was good with a spicy kick though I added a little extra salt. The loaded jambalaya was just okay as well as greens. The greens lacked seasoning as well. The garlic bread surprisingly was light and crunchy and paired nicely with the grit platter though I would have loved to have just a good 'ol block of cornbread as a bread basket. The item I enjoyed the best was the red beans and rice cup though the proportion of beans to rice was 2:1. My mom was not impressed with restaurant that we rode 30 minutes to based on a recommendation. The server was amazing and attentive and for that earned a great tip!!!
Great food and service.
Stingy portions. Smallest little blackened catfish I ever saw - not even 4.5 ounces, with a tiny portion of coleslaw. The Étouffée and catfish had hardly a drizzle of étouffée ‘around’ the catfish. The Craw-puppies (don’t expect a basket - you only get four small marbles) were still uncooked inside. Grilled bread (for starters) didn’t arrive till after the food was served - a hackneyed old trick to get people to order more starters.
A very disappointing and yet enormously expensive experience.
Love Lola's! My friends and I are locals. It's one of a handful of 'favorites' we go back to time after time.
I give Lola and Co. full marks for keeping afloat during the past year. We would have really hated to lose this venue.
As for my last meal there: My favorite dish is the 'Tchoupitoulas' - crawfish etouffe and breaded fried catfish over white rice. Delicious as ever. Unfortunately, it was very 'light' on the crawfish ingredient of the etouffe. I counted only 6 really tiny ones on my plate. Recognizing that times are tough, I will overlook this - this time.
Really enjoyed our evening at Lolas, the food was wonderful and our server was great and made sure we had everything we needed. There was a piano player that added great ambiance to our evening.
Lola’s we found by accident. Oh my is this now our favorite. Food is served fresh and hot. The flavors are wonderful goodness in every bite. Reservations recommended.
I enjoyed my dining experience at Lola’s in Summerlin. Good food-crab cake was moist and flavorful, Gouda grits and catfish was fabulous (sauce contains greasy meat so get it on the side) decorations on point, great ambience and our waitress was warm and attentive. 4 stars and we will be back!
Food was delicious, they were short staffed and it showed but you could see they were doing their best.
Best Grits!! Go Saints!
Great food. Eat there every time we come to Las Vegas. From the gulf coast so we look for great seafood. This place has it.
First time visiting Lola's while visiting from LA. I ordered Roman's Trio w/samples of gumbo, crawfish etoufee & red beans and rice, my husband ordered Loaded Jamabalya. We both enjoyed our food and drinks and our server Amanda was amazing...very personable. We'll definitely return during a future visit
Everything was great! My husband said it was very authentic! Po’Boy was the best I’ve had.
Great service and friendly staff.
Everything was great, they were short staffed so even with that obstacle they still made the experience great.
Excellent food and service once we got their attention
Great place, authentic style. Yummy food. Wish they would do something about the really sticky table tops!!!
The food was not good. The drinks were bland. They were out of a lot of food items. The server Lisa was really nice!! We took an Uber out here 30min drive...I expected better.
We experienced great and friendly service. We were seated ahead of or reservation time The entire staff was friendly and attentive. The food was excellent.
Food and service was great. Waiters were always right there when.
It was great! Love the food! We will definitely be back!
food great service okay new waiters. charged for bread, always got it for free before will not be back as often.
The only problem with Lolas is that I eat too much and then waddle out and back to the house. Great food, great booze, and great entertainment on Saturday night.
Great atmosphere. Some of our order was forgotten so taken off for service. Waitress was great and food was very good. We will still go back.
Very slow service, food came out staggered and slow staff was not very friendly and the two dishes we waited the longest for was the gumbo and it came out warm, not even edible.
Service was horrible.
We were seated for 30 minutes before we were able to order.
We did not receive all items that were ordered.
They literally served a spoonful of rice and a spoonful of grits on 2 different plates with our meals.
This was unacceptable.
I have dined several times at Lola's and I have never experienced the level of service that I did this visit.
I have always recommended Lola's to friends and family members visiting Las Vegas.
Not sure if the staffing is new or what was going on but hopefully they will get it together.
Although the service was horrible, the food was good.
Lola's has certainly gone downhill since prior to the pandemic. Two years ago the food was plentiful and terrific. Yesterday however the food was dry and portion were small. The table was sticky and the drinks were weak. We ordered a variety of dishes and all were mediocre. The best part of the meal was the bananas foster dessert.
Fantastic food, great service (they were short handed but everyone was hustling), best meal I have had in quite some time. Cajun/creole selections were on point!
Overall the food and service were great. The only downfall is that their portions are relatively small. Someone in my party ordered catfish with 2 sides and it was literally 1 single piece of small catfish with 2 very small sides. Aside from that, I would personally come again, I ordered the shrimp jambalaya and was pleased.
I'm from the deep south and I love Lola's...right down to the basket of fried okra! The fried shrimp was to die for. salads are nice, good and fresh. Jumbalaya was a bit on the spicy side, but authentic and very good. The greens (NOT Yankee green beans)....real greens are wonderful. Lola deserves a BIG thank you for bringing the taste of the South to Las Vegas.
Great find for us. The food was excellent. From the appetizers to the entrees. We enjoyed the cozy relaxed environment. Friendly service and warm atmosphere.
The menu has a excellent selection of Cajun meals and the Specials are fantastic too. Highly recommended.
We went out to Lola’s for the first time at the request of my husband who loves Cajun style food. The food was pretty good. My husband really enjoyed the fried okra (it was really good) and his platter with red beans & rice, gumbo, and etouffee. He said the Etouffee was a stand out, but the gumbo/red beans and rice were pretty good too. I got the crab & artichoke dip which was good, and the Shrimp Charlotte which was okay, but I suspect that was probably my fault as I asked them to turn down the spiciness. I really think it would have been better with the full spice level. My boys had a burger and a Po Boy. They both liked what they ordered.
We dined outside on the patio and it was really nice atmosphere. We got lucky and it was just the perfect temperature due to some earlier summer storms. If the weather allows I really do suggest the patio. The inside looked pretty cozy too. They also turned on the TV for the Knights game even though we were the only ones who asked for it on outside. The stand out for me was our server Lisa. She was really phenomenal, kind and funny. I imagine we will be back again.
The food was disappointing. After Gumbo and 2 appetizers, we did have any desire to any entrees. The soft shell crab was missing a claw and the oysters were small and tasteless. Service was terrible; we only drank water as the waitress never offered us an opportunity to order drinks. I was looking forward to Lola's but foound noting good about the place.
The crab cakes, shrimp, catfish & grits are exceptional. And whatever you do, do NOT LEAVE without trying the pecan-sweet potato pie for dessert.
Bomb, all around….
Best sweet potato pecan pie I have ever had and delicious crab cakes!
Decent food. Not upscale cuisine. Not the authentic New Orleans experience I was looking for.
