The service and food were outstanding. Our one complaint is that all the food was brought out when we had just started drinking our cocktails. This should only be done when specifically requested.
Food and service was great but our table was v drafty as it was next to the door - recommend they get an entrance curtain for winter months
Always love going to Lola - great food and lovely servers. And breakfast for lunch!
A hot Spot for fusion/syrian/mediteranian cuisine. Test the spreads! Octopus was perfect. Lamb soft and yummy. Crab and Mussels delicious...
Server was great, food was very tasty- a really nice way to have a light meal before a show!
We loved the food and everything!!
Food was delicious, good service, little loud and chilly by door but overall thumbs up
Delicious food, service was outstanding as always. Highly recommend for a nice meal!
I eat here frequently. It never disappoints!
New dishes on the menu for fall. Excellent!
I will definitely return
Excellent service and delicious food! My parents were impressed by the service and food they want to come back. I highly recommend Lola for brunch. Thank you!
We took our Son and Daughter in Law for a 1st time visit to the location. Booked on Open Table and all seemed well. We arrived 10 minutes early and were told our table was not ready, but to wait in the lobby of the adjacent hotel. We had a server take our drink order, and when table was ready, that server gave us her bill. Very unusual that it wouldn't be all under one bill, drinks and dinner.
Our food server appeared to be distracted and wasn't very attentive when we waited to order. This continued to the end to even paying the bill. The sampler of pita and sauces was amazing, that we ordered more pita. Between us we had the "leg of lamb" (not really a leg since the meat was cut up), chicken and a steak. The main course meals were cooked well and tasty. Unfortunately the server in her distraction didn't bring my son's vegetable that is ordered separately, and it was brought when we had all finished.
Then when leaving, the hostess didn't even look up and say thank you, but kept her head buried in the counter, and was not on the phone.
The food was great and worth the price. But when there is an automatic 20 % service fee, I don't feel the staff wanted to put in the extra effort. We have tipped 30% when we have had great service, but in this case we would have tiped less due to the circumstances.
Delicious food served professionally by the lovely, Lori. Highly recommend!
Food was excellent and service was great. However, our server had dog hair all over her black shirt. I asked if she had dogs and she has two huge 120 lbs dogs. Hope the dog hair stays in her shirt and not on food.
All the food was absolutely delicious! This was a last minute choice and we were very glad to find a table
This was my first time at Lola and I loved the restaurant ambiance the minute I walked in the door. The waiter was timely with beverage requests and gave us adequate time to settle in, visit and peruse the menu. The food was delicious, the Chicken Kabob was perfect size for lunch and very flavorful. My friend had the Lamb Kabob which she said was extremely tasty. We were offered a little of both of the sides rather than select just one and the greek salad was very good. We both agreed that we enjoyed this restaurant and would definitely come back.
We always come back here for our favorite breakfast when we come to Seattle. Everything we ate was just as we remembered. Still a big fan of Lola!! The noise can be a bit much.
Lovely leisure Saturday breakfast
The three of us absolutely loved the food here! My personal favorites included the octopus meze and the salmon shishkab. And the desserts!!! We shared the fresh donuts, baklava and goat cheese turnovers! Absolutely.delicious!
Lola is always a delicious and pleasant experience.
My favorite early morning breakfast spot in downtown Seattle. Awesome lattes, the made-to-order beignets, and the waitress' patter.
Great Mediterranean food on a relaxed / informal setting. We though we would find a fine dining spot and we found more like a casual place, which was a great surprise. Food was great (the tagine and the octopus are pretty good) and the deal with the house wide carafe is a no brainier. We loved it
Okay Mediterranean food that leaves a lot to be desired, and leaves you hungry with a lighter wallet - seriously.
We stopped in because we were really craving the cuisine and left disappointed. We ordered the cheese and one dip as an appetizer, which were small portions but tasted ok - $23 total. For entrees we split the eggplant tagine - which is $25 - and it was literally an eggplant sliced in half with cherry tomatoes, peppers, and yogurt drizzled on top. We also ordered the chicken skewers, which were $15 for two ounces of meat split across three tiny skewers, and then ordered one more order because it wasn’t satisfying. Our sons meal had two tiny lamb kebabs and fries - leaving him hungry, $10. Lastly, we ordered the greens, which were barely cooked or seasoned, and cost another $12.
Our meal was $120 (no drinks) for two adults, one child, and included gratuity. I’m all in for the included gratuity, but didn’t feel my dinner was worth $100 with the small portions and lackluster flavor.
The waiter said the items were shareable, but the portions were so small they were likened to hors de oeuvres.
I don’t recommend this restaurant and won’t be back.
Awesome as always although we missed Ally - our server that we prefer to see every time we dine there! :)
Best lamb burger I've had! And chick pea fries? Who knew I loved these! My only negative comment is I was there for lunch with 2 male friends of larger stature. We were seated at a table by the window and it was quite cramped for the 2 who sat on one side plus the seats were not terribly comfortable, maybe they need new padding?
Went twice in three days and had Tom’s breakfast both times. Service was slow both times, but we could tell it was because they were busy. Definitely recommend!
Food is very high quality, and
Such fantastic food! We love this place!
I had been to Lola for breakfast a few months ago but was staying at Hotel Andra for business and decided to try dinner at Lola and it was fantastic. If was a light meal but it was delicious. I had the marinated beets which were fantastic as well as some pita and Tzatziki sauce. The pita bread was slightly crisp and lightly salted, which was perfect for dipping into the sauce. I was tempted to order more it was that good. The vibe in the restaurant is fun and the place is always busy. I see why locals love the place.
Great as always! Thanks so much! We love the Tom Douglas restaurants and wish Loretta and family a wonderful wedding weekend at the Prosser farm!
Food was very good but too expensive for what you get
Let me start with saying that we loved Lola and made it a tradition to go there every time our daughter comes to visit from Montreal. The food used to be very interesting and ambiance just what we were looking for. Unfortunately we were very disappointed last time. The food was way bellow the par. Sockeye salmon was overcooked and side dish very plain, looked like heated up craft dinner. Their spreads that my family loves were ok, although garlic and tzatziki were thin and watery. My son had a flat iron steak which was cooked ok, but again side dishes were disappointing. My daughter stayed with meze dishes, something that we usually did in the past, and she was happy with her grilled spanish octopus and marinated beets. Service left lots to be desired. We had to wait to order additional pita for spreads for quite a while and were not checked other than when it was time to order deserts. Servers was friendly but looked like someone who did this for the first time, even though service charge of 20% is included in the check. For $300 for the dinner of 4, you would expect much more. We will look for another restaurant for our family gatherings in the future.
Good food... but, not the place for a quiet conversation.
Simply Great! As always!
Really poor service, mediocre food. I would not return.
Pretty good, it great. Barely 2 oz of chicken
Great food but overpriced.
Outstanding find!! Wonderful, creative food with plenty of options for the vegetarian and vegans in our group. The waitstaff are friendly, knowledgable, charming and patient. Interesting cuisine that is worth the costs and fun cocktails. Lovely selections of wine and beer, warm & inviting atmosphere and really delicious food. I will definitely make this a regular haunt whenever I'm in Seattle and will recommend it to all who travel there.
We had Lola breakfast, egg Benedict, and Lola freshly made doughnuts. Everything was tasty although the food is a little overpriced. The doughnuts were very sublime. However, the quality of the side fruit bowl was poor. Fruits were near spoiled.
Great food and accepts special requests. Outstanding service with a smile. No feeling of being hurried out.
