We always come back here for our favorite breakfast when we come to Seattle. Everything we ate was just as we remembered. Still a big fan of Lola!! The noise can be a bit much.
Lovely leisure Saturday breakfast
The three of us absolutely loved the food here! My personal favorites included the octopus meze and the salmon shishkab. And the desserts!!! We shared the fresh donuts, baklava and goat cheese turnovers! Absolutely.delicious!
Lola is always a delicious and pleasant experience.
My favorite early morning breakfast spot in downtown Seattle. Awesome lattes, the made-to-order beignets, and the waitress' patter.
Great Mediterranean food on a relaxed / informal setting. We though we would find a fine dining spot and we found more like a casual place, which was a great surprise. Food was great (the tagine and the octopus are pretty good) and the deal with the house wide carafe is a no brainier. We loved it
Okay Mediterranean food that leaves a lot to be desired, and leaves you hungry with a lighter wallet - seriously.
We stopped in because we were really craving the cuisine and left disappointed. We ordered the cheese and one dip as an appetizer, which were small portions but tasted ok - $23 total. For entrees we split the eggplant tagine - which is $25 - and it was literally an eggplant sliced in half with cherry tomatoes, peppers, and yogurt drizzled on top. We also ordered the chicken skewers, which were $15 for two ounces of meat split across three tiny skewers, and then ordered one more order because it wasn’t satisfying. Our sons meal had two tiny lamb kebabs and fries - leaving him hungry, $10. Lastly, we ordered the greens, which were barely cooked or seasoned, and cost another $12.
Our meal was $120 (no drinks) for two adults, one child, and included gratuity. I’m all in for the included gratuity, but didn’t feel my dinner was worth $100 with the small portions and lackluster flavor.
The waiter said the items were shareable, but the portions were so small they were likened to hors de oeuvres.
I don’t recommend this restaurant and won’t be back.
Awesome as always although we missed Ally - our server that we prefer to see every time we dine there! :)
Best lamb burger I've had! And chick pea fries? Who knew I loved these! My only negative comment is I was there for lunch with 2 male friends of larger stature. We were seated at a table by the window and it was quite cramped for the 2 who sat on one side plus the seats were not terribly comfortable, maybe they need new padding?
Went twice in three days and had Tom’s breakfast both times. Service was slow both times, but we could tell it was because they were busy. Definitely recommend!
Food is very high quality, and
Such fantastic food! We love this place!
I had been to Lola for breakfast a few months ago but was staying at Hotel Andra for business and decided to try dinner at Lola and it was fantastic. If was a light meal but it was delicious. I had the marinated beets which were fantastic as well as some pita and Tzatziki sauce. The pita bread was slightly crisp and lightly salted, which was perfect for dipping into the sauce. I was tempted to order more it was that good. The vibe in the restaurant is fun and the place is always busy. I see why locals love the place.
Great as always! Thanks so much! We love the Tom Douglas restaurants and wish Loretta and family a wonderful wedding weekend at the Prosser farm!
Food was very good but too expensive for what you get
Let me start with saying that we loved Lola and made it a tradition to go there every time our daughter comes to visit from Montreal. The food used to be very interesting and ambiance just what we were looking for. Unfortunately we were very disappointed last time. The food was way bellow the par. Sockeye salmon was overcooked and side dish very plain, looked like heated up craft dinner. Their spreads that my family loves were ok, although garlic and tzatziki were thin and watery. My son had a flat iron steak which was cooked ok, but again side dishes were disappointing. My daughter stayed with meze dishes, something that we usually did in the past, and she was happy with her grilled spanish octopus and marinated beets. Service left lots to be desired. We had to wait to order additional pita for spreads for quite a while and were not checked other than when it was time to order deserts. Servers was friendly but looked like someone who did this for the first time, even though service charge of 20% is included in the check. For $300 for the dinner of 4, you would expect much more. We will look for another restaurant for our family gatherings in the future.
Good food... but, not the place for a quiet conversation.
Simply Great! As always!
Really poor service, mediocre food. I would not return.
Pretty good, it great. Barely 2 oz of chicken
Great food but overpriced.
Outstanding find!! Wonderful, creative food with plenty of options for the vegetarian and vegans in our group. The waitstaff are friendly, knowledgable, charming and patient. Interesting cuisine that is worth the costs and fun cocktails. Lovely selections of wine and beer, warm & inviting atmosphere and really delicious food. I will definitely make this a regular haunt whenever I'm in Seattle and will recommend it to all who travel there.
We had Lola breakfast, egg Benedict, and Lola freshly made doughnuts. Everything was tasty although the food is a little overpriced. The doughnuts were very sublime. However, the quality of the side fruit bowl was poor. Fruits were near spoiled.
Great food and accepts special requests. Outstanding service with a smile. No feeling of being hurried out.
Good food. Recommended
Very flavorful meal with great eye appeal.
No photos needed! Caps great, breakfast yummy, service friendly, bustling but prepared! It is what it is... good for so many!
Lola is one of our favorite Seattle restaurants. Always a good option for a dinner out.
3 rd time here and didn’t disappoint, very unique menu
Great food, and one of the best meals I've had in the last few months
Really great experience and yummy Greek inspired menu. Had Lamb and grandmas Greek spaghetti, Greek salad and Calamata/Fig spread. Feta turnovers for dessert. All items were great. Wait staff were knowledgeable and helpful. Will go again!
I had Eggplant Tagine for dinner at Lola. I expected a well made interesting dish with eggplant and other stuff that goes into making a tagine. Instead I had a slice of eggplant with red sauce. Very disappointing. Waitress brought some couscous in a bowl when I complained but it was simply a poorly made dish with fancy name.
Also our waitress insisted on helping us with"Greek" wines and did not let us talk to the wine steward even when we asked. She talked us out of our choice and what we had was not a good choice! May be they do not have a wine steward, but that is not what she indicated.
Great dinner with a friend from out of town. Quiet enough for us to catch up, great service, and the food was yummy. She loved it!
I had the halloumi kebap.
The halloumi was burnt in some edges (fully black), while some pieces were still cold from inside. That was pretty disappointing, since halloumi is supposed to be grilled.
Otherwise the place and service was pretty fine.
Our server was amazing, the host was accommodating but the hosest that sat us had serious adidute and didn’t hit it well.
Food was excellent, but price is high
excellent service, fast attention to detail, very friendly staff.
Amazing place for vegetarians! So good! 4 stars only because we wish the house wine was better / there were better options by the glass (red). But the food was divine!
Impeccable service! We were guided through the menu but not in an overbearing way. The food was fabulous and the wine from the Prosser winery was delicious.
