Love this place. My favorite local restaurant hands down.
Cozy and delish as promised. Great deal on restaurant week. Portions a little small. Waiter never introduced himself. Chicken and pasta were excellent. Bread could have come faster and been warmed. Would go back.
An excellent restaurant with no disappointments. Everything fresh, well prepared and well presented. Highly recommended.
As always delicious food and great service. I’m looking forward to going back!
We went there for restaurant week and the food (bronzino and the pasta) was very good and service was excellent despite ordering from the restaurant week special menu. Will certainly return.
Nice experience and food was delicious
This is some of the best food in Westchester. Small place, so book early. Great drinks, terrific pastas. Same room for homemade desserts. One of our favorites.
Love this place and the couple that owns it. The chicken dishes and scallop dishes were outstanding. The 18 month old prosciutto appetizer is a must each time. Deserts of apple crisp and pumpkin cake were outrageous. Heather's bombolini desert creation is outstanding though we did not choose it this time. Must experience.
This was the best meal we’ve had in Westchester since moving up here 3 years ago from the city. We will definitely be back!!
The food is so well prepared and delicious and the desserts are “to die for”!
Creative dishes perfectly prepared with an adequate wine list and exceptional wine Recomendations
The manager told the table that they do not accept Open Table rewards.
Food was outstanding. Wonderful little place. My family loved it.
Such a lovely and charming place with great food and wine!
Romantic and cozy with a fantastic menu! Seasonal dishes including Hudson valley pastrami spiced pork and a mixed seafood black linguini. Delicious wine list and overall great drinks. The rigatoni carbonara is a must. Service is impeccable. Cheers!
Lovely space, pretty good food, horrendous service. We were seated and greeted promptly, but it was all downhill from there. Appetizers (cauliflower, shishitos, and a salad) took about 15-20 minutes to arrive, and we're quite tasty. We then waited over an hour for our entrees. Other tables were seated and ate 3 courses during that time. We asked several times about out food and we're assured things were on their way, then 10 minutes would pass, and nothing. We ultimately had our food packed up to go and, by the time we ate at home, it was decent. The restaurant comped drinks and threw in a couple desserts, but honestly, despite the manager's profuse apologies, it hardly made up for the poor experience. We might give it another try, but I'm not rushing to go back.
Delicious meal from start to finish. Perfect for date night!
We know we will have a great dinner and evening at L'inizio. Great service, great food, great drinks. I always look forward to going there.
This gem is a favorite of mine for catching up with friends over a great drink and a delicious meal. I highly recommend it!
It started with a waiter asking us questions but not paying attention to our answers. A dish that was requested to be dairy free arrived with dairy and then needed to be changed. I have been there before but The food was mediocre and it seems the restaurant has gone downhill. Too bad.
Great food and service. Parking (in the rain, no less) is problematic. The tiny lot next door was full, and the meters in front are 15 minutes only, until 7 or 7:30. We had to park across a busy street in the lot of a store closed for the evening.
Having made a reservation, we were disappointed to have to wait over 20 minutes for a table. The owner/hostess was not friendly, nor did she do a good job communicating what was going on. The sommelier made it up to us by sending free wine and was very nice to us, but it was not how we expected to start the evening.
The food was very good, and we enjoyed everything we ate. A shame that the experience started on the wrong foot.
It was a very busy restaurant and the staff were nice. It took too long to get served and I found the food overthought. There were too many ingredients on the plate on top of my pork chop(too much balsamic) my fried ordered hangar steak and that also came with many ingredients under the steak and the steak was pre sliced. My husband had pasta that had very little flavor. We ordered grilled octopus for an appetizer and again, too fussy. Not my kind of place and I could hardly hear. Bottom line. Food too Fussy. Too many ingredients
There were 2 wailing toddlers at 7pm on a Saturday night. It was super annoying
always a great experience at l'inzio. excellent food, unbelievable staff we will be back again and again
Food was really wonderful. Excellent antipasti platter, delicious bucatini special and market fish was terrific! Chocolate tart was also yummy. Highly recommended.
Excellent food and service. We are gluten intolerant and they were able to provide us many options. The gluten free pasta was delicious.
I had been to this restaurant several years ago and recollect at that time that the food was superb. I was thrilled to see that nothing has changed. Excellent food, service and overall experience. Delicious corn salad, amazing pan seared Bronzino - said my guest and my pasta was scrumptious. Great local find!
Everything here is always fresh, creative, and delicious.
The chef has a really nice flare for creative touches, and every dish we've had here has been delicious. Would characterize the food as New-Italian/New-American. Portions area fairly large, unusual for fare this interesting and good. Not inexpensive, but if you're looking for an informal, neighborhood spot with outstanding food, this is it.
Very enjoyable evening. Service and food were great. Nice intimate ambience.
Excellent food, service and experience. Will return.
The appetizers were fantastic and the main entrees were spot on with flavor and texture. I will be returning to the restaurant in the next few months.
Still the best food in the county - no one else even comes close.
Food is divine!!! Even my gourmet husband is so impressed!! Delicious and unique menu options. It has become our #1 favorite restaurant~~~
L’inizio always has scrumptious and innovative Italian food served in an intimate setting. Love this local treasure!
Warm welcome, good service and outstanding food!!!
Yummy as always!!!
Food was great! Waiter said “apologies for the delay. Everyone came in at once.” It was a Friday night , the place should expect a lot of people to come in at once on a Friday. Also, I expect that people there would make reservations, etc. therefore, you should know and staff appropriately. There were a lot of servers and limited waiters. Maybe the waiter was just new. Other than that, vibe and food was great. Service was “okay “, nothing exceptional.
