Highly Disappointed bc this was one of my favorite places & I had wanted to have a wedding here .. but after last night, I will be going elsewhere

My wife and my two older boys planned dinner . My boys wanted the Bolognese but the menu mentioned “peppers” to which we asked if they can not be included because my boys do not like peppers. The waiter noted it barely has any and they cannot remove it because it was pre-made. “Pre-made” should of been a red flag but based waiter’s feedback we ordered it. Big mistake. The meal was basically peppers and pasta. Awful. Even if one liked green peppers, it was not good. The pasta was unevenly cooked as well.
The music was so loud I thought we were at a wedding. It was Pandora because we could hear the commercial breaks between songs.
Only consolation was the view.
The dining room we were sat in was adjacent to the main bar, a part of the party hall...reminded me of someone’s basement.
Prices are above average. The filet mignon was good but the vegetables were under cooked.
My wife requested the Chicken lollipops, but they were sold out.

Everything was so impeccably done. We started w the calamari which was prepared a little different than how I’m used to, but it was so fresh & light & crispy. Then we had the sea bass special, I wish I had taken a picture. It was nicely cooked & so delicious! We were celebrating a big birthday, so of course we got desserts. Omg, the Nutella cheesecake was amazing!!! Hands down, I would definitely come back here soon!!!

Opentable reservation NEVER made it to the restaurant and Opentable to this day has NOT given me any reason why that happened. The restaurant was completely booked and we had to sit at the bar.

Loved the food, atmosphere, and view of the city!

As usual, even with social distancing, Liberty House is an enjoyable evening out with top notch food.

Everything was excellent and food was outstanding. The views were beautiful and the staff was very professional and friendly. I would. It hesitate to go back.

Worst hostess service ever. More dispatching than welcoming.

They apparently have outdoor space with heaters, but those have no gas or they are not working.

I’ve been a regular customer for the past 3 years, but the last experience was awful.

Loved it here! I had been to events but never just for dinner. The place was still decorated for Christmas and was beautiful. The food was delicious and the staff was so friendly and accommodating. Will definitely be back.

Visited the Liberty House Restaurant for my birthday dinner with my family. Beautiful location and the service was great. The food was exceptional.

- Service and COVID Regulations -
They were very patient with us as my family was running late and the restaurant had to close due to COVID restrictions promptly at 10PM. They allowed me to be seated and order all the appetizers before they arrived to speed the process.

They followed COVID regulations for indoor dining with spaced out table and masking wearing.

- Recommended... Yay or Nay... -
I would visit again and recommend this restaurant. You won’t be sorry.

We’ve been to Liberty House a few times pre-COVID. We decided to go for dinner since we were recently engaged and celebrating a birthday. Ambiance, food, and service was as expected-excellent! We wished the outside wasn’t covered so you could see the NY skyline but it could be where we were seated. Food was absolutely delicious. They took all necessary COVID precautions very seriously so it all felt very safe.

I asked for a table with a view. They were very accommodating. Our server Xavier G. Was very professional and attentive. Extremely helpful with the specials of the day. Food was very good. Great atmosphere. We recommend this place to everyone.

Great evening with terrific service

First of all thank you for allowing us in after being so late. We were extremely satisfied. . I did not go home still hungry. I LOVED my Cowboy steak. Wife made me give it to her so I definitely have to come back for another one of my own again. Staff was excellent. You have to save your pennies but I promise you it's a well worth experience.

Everything was absolutely exquisite. From the service immediately upon entering and throughout our meal, all of the staff was wonderful. The food and drinks were delicious, too!

Had a great time celebrating new years eve with the family. They were on point with the social distancing, so we had no concerns whatsoever. Server Darren was great!!! Food and drinks were all to satisfaction! Especially the Cowboy steak that was recommended by the server!

We had dinner the day after Christmas for an after-holiday celebration with my mom and to celebrate my kids 16th birthday. The place is beautiful, the staff were friendly and attentive and the food is amazing. So pleased we picked the Liberty House for our celebration. Can't wait to come back!

If I had to find a positive, our server was polite and helpful.

Other than that it was not great value and a poor experience overall. Average to poor food and service for the price and not much of a view. It came to about $150-200pp with wine.

We arrived 10 mins early only to be greeted by a rude hostess. We were asked to stand out in the cold until it was time for our reservation, despite the empty sitting area. The displayed closing time was 11pm but it looked like they closed at 10pm. We were not given time to finish our food before being asked to leave by a server who wasn't ours. Would have appreciated at least a 5-10 min heads up on the closing time instead of being abruptly asked to leave.

There are much better options available.

We went for staff holiday dinner. Views never disappoint. The service was spectacular. In particular, the service was great. We leisurely enjoyed cocktails and a few rounds of appetizers and drinks before ordering dinner without any pressure or haste. The service worked together seamlessly. Every time I come to Liberty House Restaurant I always have a pleasant time and the food is always Excellent and also the server are very attentive.

Attended a wedding at this venue summer of 2019 and loved the service and ambience and just had to return for a dinner. Service and staff were outstanding. Would have loved to have some soft music in the background. Even though the temperatures were low on the outside, we sat by the fireplace and absorb the beauty of Manhattan from Liberty House.

Excellent food, excellent and friendly service, great view and good impression of a safe environment during these difficult times.

We came for the convenience to LSC and the view but fully expected a touristy place with moderate food. What a surprise! The food and service (care of our amazing waiter Renaldo !) were above and beyond any expectations that we had, and we left with the intention of returning. The only glitch was that we had to move from the first table where we were seated, because there were diners seated outside and the door was left open. They moved us with no problem to a warmer area.

It was great except that we expected a brunch menu. We were disappointed to see it wasn’t offered.

Overall, happy to see it is still open.

Would have been nice to have the fire pits open as well.

Our server was one of the best servers we’ve had. He was really attentive and kind. He was able to answer and cater to our needs.
