Food is delicious

Chef Ash greeted us personally and quite pleasantly making sure we had anything we wished for in a prompt fashion. The food the lemon was unbelievable and everybody in my group left completely happy and very full! the night begin with a very delicious homemade hummus and pita for dipping. Hillary a couple of plates of the mussels appetizer and dinner was on from there!
Two of us had the Lamb shoulder, which fell off the bone and was absolutely fantastic! Others at the table had the Branzini and the Chioppino special which was out of this world!
For dessert we had bacalao delicious homemade ice cream and the chef sent out a Bananas Foster (which I have not seen anybody make in a long time) and it was surreal!
I would recommend a lemon to anyone who wanted a fantastic, well thought out and extremely well prepared dinner.
Each member of the staff from chef Ash all the way to wait staff was not only very nice but professional and attentive.
Thank you chef for a lovely evening we'll all be back.

Chef Ash and his team continue to have consistently great made to order food. Always happy to go there knowing that whatever I order, will be great. Many selections and specials. Would say one of top restaurants in Monmouth County.

First time there with my husband and teenage son. Waiter was super nice and very attentive. Food was absolutely delish and it was quiet enough to enjoy our conversation. Moroccan chicken was full of flavor and my son really enjoyed the steak. Had to get the mango panna cotta for dessert. Sooooo good. Will definitely be back again.

My wife and I had an very pleasurable 2020 New Years Eve dining experience. Our waiter was very curitous, friendly and attentive. He checked a reasonable amount of times if we needed anything or if everything was to our satisfaction. It is a BYOB restaurant which allows for the enhancement of you dining experience by bringing the wine you like. The owner checked with us to see if everything was to our satisfaction.
Well Done.

This is a fabulous local restaurant because attention to detail is evident in every aspect of the experience. Service and food is the best and even the choice of background music is enjoyable. Chef Ash is an expert chef and a gentleman. He’s always around greeting all his patrons and loves what he does. He’s genuine! BYOB and parking in lot is available.

I’ve been wanting to try this place so I finally convinced my husband on his birthday to have a dinner in this restaurant, but we were very disappointed ! Very pricy for tiny portion of meal . My husband’s coffee is just warm I asked For tea the water is boiling hot like it just came out from the microwave. Dining room was very cold on that night, my creme brûlée dessert has a lot of sugar granules in it as supposed to being caramilized! I don’t know,at least tried eating on this restaurant.

Chef Ash is a God when it comes to spices. Everything was absolutely tip top.
From the delightful hosts to the incredible food.

For a little hole in the wall place, it packs a helluva punch.

We started with appetizers of Octopus and mozzarella with roasted peppers and tomatoes. You could literally cut the roasted Octopus with a spoon. The mozzarella was a generous portion and delicious

On to the entree.

My love had swordfish. It was a big portion. Light and flakey. Perfectly seasoned.
I had the Moroccan chicken. It had olives, artichoke hearts and onions. Again, Chef Ash's knowledge of spices took center stage. It was perfectly cooked and the aroma made every taste so complex and yet completely satisfying!

Not only have we found our favorite new Mediterranean restaurant but we will be going so often, we may have our own parking space soon enough.

If you are in Freehold, you HAVE to stop in. Chef Ash will welcome you with a smile.

We had a delicious girls night out dinner. We all had the monkfish special, a bit pricey but worth it, we ate every bite! Service was good and the owner was very attentive to his patrons. We will be back!

Food was delicious but took a very long time to come out. Service wasn’t great that night

We were seated right away for our 6:30pm reservation. We chose to sit outside as the weather was warm enough. Our waiter was very personable however not as attentive as we would have liked. Apps came quickly and the rice balls and orrechietti with lamb Ragu were delicious. We waited a very long time for our entrees with no explanation from our waiter. The food was delicious and ranged from salmon, steak, lamb tagine, and a seafood special. We all split the bread pudding for dessert. Overall we had a very nice evening and enjoyed our meal. I would recommend Lemon for dinner and will definitely go back!

I had the paella which was $30 and it literally had 3 clams, a few small pieces of fish and mostly mussels and rice. I left feeling hungry as did my son and husband whose dishes were very small.

Great family run restaurant for everyday dinning food is excellent and service is great from our server Samantha to the rest of the crew bussing tables they all are doing a great job under the COVID circumstances.
My wife ordered from the special menu the seafood Cippolino it was amazing I ordered the lamb shank from the regular menu also delicious give this place a try you won’t be sorry

Always wonderful food, delicious Rice Balls and Lamb Chops. The flourless chocolate cake is to die for.

Great customer service, friendly staff and food was very tastelful.

Went there for my first anniversary with my family. The service was slow like molasses, the food was hit and miss, the runner threw the dessert spoon on the table (literally threw the spoon), the manager walked out a door I was walking towards but didn’t bother holding the door (I was literally at the door) and to make up for it he delayed us even longer by making us wait forever for the check.
