Le Petit Paris
They decided 15 years ago to create their first restaurant in Cannes, Le Petit Paris, Parisian brasserie, located in the middle of the international film festival city.
In order to give the opportunity of an unforgettable experience in Cannes to their international clientele, they decided to run a business on the beach with the combination of well being, relaxed and lay down on the beach with a cocktail and enjoying a gastronomic food.
David and Fanny were always striving to be surrounded by great collaborators in order to provide a real “savoir-faire” to their clients. They have been known worldwide now thanks to their hard work and dedication.

Great food, good wine and the layout and deco is very boutique
We went for Sunday Brunch. The food is amazing. Nice bite size pieces so you can try a bit of everything on their vast buffet, or you can take a few of one thing if you like. The quality of food is superb, and the service is impeccable. Our plates were cleared as soon as we finished, and they gave us fresh silverware for each plate we used. As they should. I will go back again and again. Need to go for dinner next time.
Took a VERY long time for entrees to come out. Dinner stalled in a pretty big way. There was some apology but no real acknowledgement.
A very pleasant and beautiful place to celebrate an occasion! Service was excellent.
Would not go back, we were disappointed.
The service was awesome. I have no complaints. The foods were not as I expected. The steak was chewy, pasta was salty, the fish was bland, overall I am disappointed with the foods the most. This place overrated or maybe I am just picky. To pay that much, I want to enjoy my food.
Lunch in a quiet restaurant is a treat as was the FOOD and charming, unobtrusive service, such a rarity in 2020. The pate is superb, as was every other course. Macarons and choux for dessert, excellent espresso and tea to go with them.
Great food and service. Beautiful restaurant. Come on Wednesday for the live music!
I chose this restaurant based on reviews since my friends from out-of-town were here for a business meeting at USC. We had drinks fist which were great and then were seated at our table (we'd made a reservation but it was quiet on a Tuesday night. Two of us had the sea bass, one had the lobster linguini and the fourth person had a fish special. Fabulous food, but the service was quite slow. Still I'd return again.
Great food and service!
Will go back!
Wish our waiter didn't put the entree order in at the same time as my appetizer bc I was enjoying the paté and suddenly we were both served the lamb chops. I complained to the waiter, but he made some excuse that I didn't understand. The lamb chops were delicious, cooked medium rare, I'd asked for rare to medium rare. The mustard sauce was TOO SALTY, pomme frites unseasoned & should've been fried longer. We arrived very early, by 7:30 pm there was a line out the door. As the evening wore on, the restaurant became noisy because it's a tiny bistro with too many TINY tables jammed together. Cocktails were good, but we were too full to try the delicious desserts. Next time, I'll know not to order the entree with the appetizer. The waiter should've known better, but it may be the bistro's rules to get the table turned over faster.
We started with the escargot which was perfectly flavored and balanced and the grilled octopus which was the best version of this dish I’ve had. My friend ordered the duck which was delightful and I had the best lobster linguini I’ve ever had in my life. I had a small issue with my initial meal but my waiter was very attentive and quickly fixed the problem. We made it to the Ahmanson on time and enjoyed
Our show and both vowed to return. Overall very good ! ❤️
BEST PLACE FOR A NYE PARTY.
Attended the New Year’s Eve event. The ambiance was great earlier in the evening, as the singer was fantastic. However, the DJ was mediocre, the portions were tiny, and the place was at over capacity, which made the service and the overall experience very poor.
Arrival was chaotic due to the crowding - it took the hostess 30 minutes to give us our table, even though we showed on time. On top of that, we were given a table right by the door, even though I specified in my reservation requests that we didn’t want to be near doors or air currents. Lastly, although we arrived at 9:30 pm, our courses weren't fully served until after midnight, due to terrible service slowdowns.
My 1st dinner here...Very disappointing NYE experience.
My reservation was @ 9:30p the last seating. We waited 45min for a table. My dinner was served exactly @ midnight, how horrible! Then another 45 for dessert and 30 min for my tab after requesting it.
We were seated upstairs and the vocals were only an echo. The DJ was extremely terrible!!!
It was horribly organized & understaffed for such a big night. There was no host to announce the countdown!! The waitress was trying to be nice but it was obvious she was overwhelmed and just trying to keep up. So disappointing especially since I paid for this sad party.
I will be forwarding this on yelp as well.
Came here for New Year’s Eve dinner with the family. Waited so long for the food, everything was cold/soggy by the time it got here. We didn’t get out main entrees until about 12:45am. Our waitress was very nice but the kitchen was super slow so there’s only so much she could do. Wouldn’t recommend on a night with an event. 3 in our table ordered the lobster- after seeing people getting served lobster tails all night- it appears they ran out because by the time ours got to us, no tails, just claws.
We frequent this restaurant and usually love it. Went on new years eve, food was not as good as it usually is. It was super busy, the service was okay, there was live music, party favors and a balloon drop. Dinner for two with a bottle of wine cost $500 and we would have ordered a glass of champagne for a midnight toast but our sever was busy with other tables. Not a good value for the money. Would recommend the restaurant on any other night.
Perhaps this restaurant is good on normal occasions, but don’t go here for New Year’s Eve. Everything is very overpriced and the portions are very small. The limited menu does not have great choices and the service was very rushed.
My answer is barely a yes. Service was incredibly slow. My meal (I had the lemon linguini) was good, but not great. The ambiance was nice. VERY expensive, too, so I would probably not go back.
Had an excellent experience at Le Petit Paris. Really enjoyed the ambiance and fine food. We especially loved our dessert and champagne. Also recommend getting the sea bass entree paired along one of there fine cocktails.
Early NYE celebration. Divine!
Excellent server - Doushan.
Great ambience, risotto was to die for
The atmosphere, especially for the Christmas Holiday, was lovely but not stuffy. Great service. Really good food, with more choices than I expected. And the drinks were great too. I plan to go back, especially for special occasions.
Was a great spot for Xmas dinner. It was a little crowded/busy but our server did a great job and the food was good.
Incredibly kind and helpful staff. My mother had an emergency and they were there to provide help
Great experience. Thank you so much.
We went for the Christmas Brunch Buffet. We had a 2:30 reservation but missed many of the entrees and other food items including pastries because food was not
being replenished and entree stations began closing at 3. We didn't get our cocktails until 3pm and the server did not inform us that we could begin the buffet while we waited on our cocktails. The bill was over $400 and we each only got one plate of food and not the items we really wanted. It was so disappointing. Why take a 2:30 seating if you are not replenishing food items for them and you are closing the stations beginning at 3?
Christmas Day last seating at 2:30. The buffet looked great, but as items ran out they did not replace them, so we were unable to enjoy the full menu. The last seating should eat the same food as the first, or get a discount.
Came here with my daughter for Christmas brunch. Food was amazing, especially given the number of patrons. Everything was fresh, including the seafood! My girl loved the crepes for dessert;)
Xmas brunch with them was the worst idea I’ve had in a long time. $80 per person to stand in line for long periods for protein to only have them be out when I got through the line. Huge table at the bottom of the stairs right next to the line, so it was very hard for people and servers to move freely. Service was meh. Our server reached over my plate While I was eating to fill water multiple times. We were seated so close to our neighbors that we could hear them breathe. Didn’t get to spend the meal with my bf bc we took turn standing in line for food that was just ok. Not wort it.
Second time we have gone to Le Petit Paris for Brunch on Christmas morning. It’s wonderful - everything from crab legs and oysters to Croque Monsieur and Floating Islands. It’s all delicious. Beautifully decorated - very festive. The only drawback is the very loud disco music playing which really detracts from the whole experience. Aside from that it’s perfect.
The only thing better than the food was the service!! Had an amazing time. Will definitely return often.
We were very excited to be coming to Le Petit Paris for the Christmas Brunch Buffet. However, what we encountered was carving stations with no staff, the man in front of us carved us pieces of beef and ham. We also encountered empty food stations - we were unable to get any shrimp, crab and several other items. The truffle eggs were cold as well as the eggs benedict had an empty hollendaise sauce bowl so ours had no sauce. Overall the entree section was very poorly handled with little to no servers or support to keep the food full or from being "beaten up". The desserts seemed to fair better. If a restaurant wants to do a Christmas buffet, please have sufficient servers, keep the food fresh and full and monitor your customers.
We went for Christmas buffet. The first round of food was very good, but the second round was not as good — the chicken with white sauce was a bit tough and the risotto was undercooked. We didn’t think this was acceptable for the price; we expected more attention to detail. There is a per drink charge — even for decaf coffee, which is very greedy for a $80/person brunch. It’s simply discourteous. Alcoholic drinks I can understand, although bottomless mimosas are often included in brunches at other establishments. For the price tag, coffee and juice should be included. In addition Le Petit Paris charged us a 4% surcharge for this meal, and we’re not sure whether it was for the occasion or for California taxes. It wasn’t specified. When we were seated, we were informed that they had overbooked the brunch and we had a two hour limit to finish our meal. The time was ample, but again for the price, it was off-putting to be told there was a time limit to enjoy a special meal. In all, it was a greedy, subpar experience. We wanted to make Le Petit Paris brunch our family’s Christmas Day tradition because of pleasant experiences there in past years. But this year’s brunch encouraged us to look elsewhere.
Good food and wonderful service
Lovely restaurant. Excellent ambience for a special occasion. Food was delicious but the bill was somewhat high.
It is a very nice looking restaurant but I believe there were only 2 waiters the entire restaurant. It took about an hour to get our main dishes after it took 20 minutes to get our appetizers. It wasnt even really full. We weren't really check up on during most of the night. We had to flag down the waiters. They were nice enough but way too busy and didnt get time to tend to patrons without being always flagged down. Spent $400 for 4 folks and im not sure I'll come back.
Spent over $400
Loved every single item we ordered from appetizers to wine, entrees and dessert. It was truly amazing. Delicious!
Not what we expected. Food is probably overpriced. Will recommend if you never been there. However i will probably not coming back for the same food. Wednesday jazz was cool. Please clean the rest room too, It smells really bad.
