Always wonderful. Wait and wine staff extremely knowledgeable and make great recommendations of what to choose, personalised to the individual. Professional and attentive without being overbearing or seeming to to be “going through the motions”. You would be hard pressed to find a better duck parfait anywhere and the trout caviars and potato rosti are always a hit when we dine with friends/family. If there are only two of you, then sitting up at the chef’s bar is always very special as you watch the chefs go about their business in one of the quietest, organised kitchens imaginable. Definitely a South Yarra highlight!

Been eating here for years. Excellent food, nice staff, always,new faces. would really appreciate keeping more veg side dishes.Green beans are back and have carrot mash.But carrot mash only while addition to a special, so wont be there all the time. Some sort of permanent carrot side would be great. Dont eat potato or chips.

I am not vegan, but I am constantly impressed by the quality of plant-based cuisine available these days, and Lona Misa stands as a keystone of this evolution in my eyes. For my fiancée's 30th birthday, the team went above and beyond (in just the right way) to help us celebrate. If you're looking to mix things up and enjoy world-class dining as a meat eater, this is the place to go. And if you're a vegetarian, you should already be well aware of this incredible dining spot!

Visited with my partner and we went with the omikase menu, which did not disappoint. We were able to sample a variety of dishes and have a taste of the yakitori experience that you would get in Japan. Would recommend for those who want the same experience. Staff were very friendly and provided excellent service. Will definitely come again when we visit Melbourne again.

A post-Christmas catch-up with friends at cool and relaxed Norman was exactly what was needed. Meeting for brunch we enjoyed the truffled hash, chilli scrambled eggs, sushi bowl and eggs on toast - all well made and delicious - and good coffee. Service is swift and friendly. Can recommend!
