    When guests are visiting us in Santa Barbara we like to drive along the coast up to San Simeon Elephant Seal Rookery stopping at scenic sites along the way. We ALWAYS end the day with dinner at Madonna Inn and we absolutely love our usual waitress, Sharon! She is such a delightful lady and the meals are always excellent, as are the desserts! It’s such an iconic place and we love to show them around! It’s an unforgettable experience!

    My husband & I dined at Il Cortile for the Jacob Toft Winemaker Dinner and it was fantastic! It had been quite awhile since we had eaten there and I told my husband we HAVE to go back because the food was so delicious. It was such a wonderful experience and can’t wait to go back.

    The Black Cat Bistro delighted us with its relaxing ambiance and delicious food. After my husband & I split a yummy arugula salad, I chose the prawn risotto while my hubby had the nightly special of pan-fried trout atop a medley of veggies. Both entrees were excellent.

    4 of us ate there New Year's Eve. There were only 2 people working but the service was excellent as was the food and the experience. They had a gift "firecracker" and 2 questions on the table to spark conversation and discussion.
