Who would have thought that this gem was here in Werribee.
A lovely **restaurant** that should really have a dress code to match the food and decor. Clean, new, minimalistic with a casual elegance about it. Defiantly not a pub, so please dress up for the occasion if it's an evening meal and you won't feel out of place. Leave the Hoodies at home peoples! Lets give this a bit of respect, we don't have a lot in Werribee.
The food was very nice and the wine just as good, a lovely night for a special occasion.
We had the Entree of bread and dips, a lovely selection of dips, it probably could have done with more bread; as I hate it when you have all these beautiful dips and balsamic glaze oil left over just to be thrown out because there wasn't enough bread to match.
For Mains we ordered the Beef Cheek with the Truffle Mash, melt in your mouth cheeks, the Jus could have been a little more flavor some but all in all it was lovely on a cold night, especially with the touch of Truffle in the potato. The Gnocchi was subtle in saffron flavor but very tasty, the Gnocchi itself were soft like clouds. My daughter added the extra chicken for $5.00, and received 3 pieces for that deliverance. The Angus Steak was also cooked med/rare to perfection and the extra sides.
The staff were attentive and friendly and bonus points as they knew how to hold more than one plate at a time and how to clear a table without putting dirty dishes back on the table, so they could carry them, as I have experienced in the past.
In my family we have 2 anaphylactic people so it's very important to get things right. The staff were only too happy to answer questions and ask the chef if they were unsure. They were even were right on top of it when the dessert menu came out, they had asked the chef all the questions before so that they could inform us prior to ordering. However we were too full.
